CONTAINER WITH CLOSURE ARRANGEMENT RESTRICTING SPILLAGE
A container comprising a wall having outer and inner sides, a closed base at one end and a curved rim at an opposite end, the rim defining a top opening of the container; a pair of arcuate crease lines formed in the wall at opposite sides of the wall below the rim that define a flap and act as a hinge allowing each flap to toggle between an open upright position in which the flap is convex and a closed lowered position in which the flap changes its shape to concave; and a closure arrangement operable to restrict at least one flap opening; the closure arrangement comprising at least one closure leaf attached to a first one of the flap so as to be movable with the first flap and to extend underneath the first flap opening when the flaps are in the closed lowered position.
Folding Station of a Packaging Apparatus and System
The technology described herein generally relates to an automated packaging apparatus and system that packages loose particles into a conical container as well as the final folded packages. More specifically, loose plant matter, such as crumbled dried leaves, are supplied to successive paper cones. The apparatus packs the crumbled leaves into the cones, closes the wide top portion of the cone into a precise shape, and then runs a quality control check to ensure that the final filled cone meets preset specifications.
LIQUID CONTAINER
A solution for a logistical problem within the beverage industry, specifically related to hot beverages such as coffee and tea; namely, storing the means to sell the beverages, which generally includes a cup, a lid for the cup, and an insulation sleeve that allows holding the cup in a comfortable way for the consumer, avoiding burns due to the high temperatures of the liquid. Thus, the container presented here unifies the 3 elements, comprising a body formed by a base and a wall, where the upper edge of said container has a group of flaps that in their closed position enables liquid containment and prevents spillage in case the container is moved, and through a modification in the cross profile of the wall. Additionally, the container has an insulation sleeve that keeps the contact surface at a low temperature.

PACKAGING
Packaging made of a sealable packaging material has a front wall and a rear wall which are directly or indirectly joined to one another; a removal opening extends from and/or is located at an edge of the packaging. An additional material may be disposed between the layers of packaging material, wherein this additional material can be configured as strips and/or can take up the entire width of the removal opening
Packaging
A foodstuff packaging assembly for transporting a sandwich, said sandwich having, a top, a bottom and a circumferential outside edge, said packaging assembly comprising a substantially cylindrical transit guard having a top end edge at one end of the cylinder and a bottom end edge at the other end of the cylinder and a side wall having an internal side wall surface and an external side wall surface, the internal side wall surface of the transit guard being so sized, shaped and configured as to substantially correspond to the circumferential outside edge of the sandwich in order to restrain the sandwich and its contents during transit. Optionally the food packaging assembly further comprises a packaging box adapted to accommodate a cylindrical transit guard, said packaging box comprising a bottom portion having a lowermost-in-use internal bottom surface, a top portion having an upper-most-in-use internal top surface, and at least one side wall having an internal side surface, the top portion and the bottom portion being adapted such that the packaging box can adopt an open configuration or a closed configuration.

SPILL RESISTANT DISPOSABLE CUP
A spill resistant disposable cup is comprised of a sheet of flexible material rolled into a cylindrical or frustoconical shape sealed at its edges and with a sealed bottom. The cup has at least three tabs that can be folded down in an overlapping manner to close the top of the cup. The tabs contain an interlocking mechanism to lock folded tabs in place. Two of the tabs are spaced apart to define a gap and a drinking opening when the tabs are folded down. The tabs can be shaped to form an internal sealing edge that provides resistance from leakage and spills if the cup is tipped when full.

SIZE-ADJUSTABLE MANDREL AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING A BOX USING THE SAME
A mandrel designed for use in the construction of a custom-sized box includes a common platform on which a plurality of peripheral members is independently mounted. Each peripheral member comprises a disc-shaped base rotatably mounted on the common platform, a tongue slidably mounted within a channel formed in the base, and a vertical upright rotatably mounted at one end of the tongue. To construct a box, an elongated continuous strip of material is helically wrapped around the vertical uprights to form a main box body with a plurality of bands. Cutting mechanisms in each upright are actuated to create slots in the main box body that define flaps used to selectively enclose the open top and bottom ends of the box body. By reconfiguring the vertical uprights in the mandrel, a customized box can be constructed that is dimensioned to receive a consumer product with limited wasted space.
