Fruit packaging containers
Described herein are sealable, breathable bags for packaging, storing, and transporting fresh fruit in boxes. The bags protects the fruit from outside contaminants while maintaining a modified atmosphere environment around the fruit to preserve the freshness of the fruit. Furthermore, the bags are constructed in such a way that they have a flattened closed configuration and an fully opened configuration that allows them to efficiently fit into a generally cuboid, open-topped packaging box to be filled with fresh fruit and then seal around the fruit in the box, such as by sliding a slider across an upper closure of the bag.
Stackable container with lid
An enclosable and stackable container comprising a tray and lid is provided with structural elements to permit rapid covering and uncovering of the tray, efficient stacking of containers, and safe transportation. At least one catching mechanism may be engaged quickly to securely cover the tray and its food contents and disengaged quickly to uncover the tray and its food contents, improving food hygiene practices. Foldable flange flaps enhance stacking strength to permit safe transportation of stacked containers and their food contents.
CONTAINER WITH INTEGRAL DIVIDER WALL
Containers for holding packaging, such as blister-pack packaging, can be formed from a unitary piece of paperboard or other material. The containers have an interior defined by front and rear walls, first and second sidewalls, and a container bottom. The containers also include a divider panel that separates the interior into at least two sections. Flaps having multiple apertures for receiving corners of the packaging can be attached to the first and second sidewalls and the divider wall.
Reinforced container
A reinforced container includes first, second and third panels, the first and second panels having a first fold line therebetween, the first and third panels having a second fold line therebetween, the first and second panels being disposed parallel to the z-axis, the third panel being disposed orthogonal to the z-axis, and the first fold line defining a first corner oriented parallel to the z-axis. A strength enhancing feature is disposed at the top of the first corner with a continuous planar edge orthogonal to the z-axis. The third panel defines a top surface of the container, the planar edge of the strength enhancing feature being disposed substantially parallel with at least a portion of the top surface, and the top surface has a corner portion disposed relative to the planar edge at a distance no greater than one half thickness of the third panel above the planar edge.
Stackable Cartons, System, And Methods Of Using The Same
A carton for holding at least one article includes a plurality of panels extending at least partially around an interior of the carton. The plurality of panels includes a top panel, a bottom panel, a front panel, a back panel, and at least one side panel. The top panel is recessed below a portion of each of the front panel, the back panel, and the at least one side panel to form a recessed top portion for receiving a portion of a vertically adjacent carton.
Reverse tuck lock
A foldable container moveable between a flat configuration and a three-dimensional configuration is provided. The container includes a first panel having a first engagement feature, a second panel having a second engagement feature, and a third panel having a third engagement feature. The first engagement feature is configured to engage with the second engagement feature so as to secure the container in the three-dimensional configuration. The first engagement feature is also configured to engage with the third engagement feature so as to inhibit the first engagement feature from becoming disengaged from the second engagement feature.
Reusable produce containers and related methods
Embodiments of foldable containers, such as foldable produce containers, and related sheets and methods. In some embodiments, a sheet may comprise at least two adjacent, parallel, side panels, one of which may comprise a bendable tab, and the other of which may comprise a cutout configured to receive the bendable tab. This may allow for temporarily maintaining the two panels in position during a folding process to facilitate additional folding steps during the process. In some embodiments, a container may comprise one or more strapping flaps configured to facilitate tensioning of strapping material for strapping together multiple containers. These strapping flaps may be configured to engage a strapping material and may allow a single person to more easily tension the strapping material to strap multiple containers together.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR FORMING A FOLD LINE IN A SUBSTRATE
A system and a method for creating a fold line in a substrate, by impressing at least one crease line onto the substrate. The impressing is carried out by compressing the substrate between a die and a corresponding counter die of a creasing module. Following impression of the crease line, at least one cut is made in the substrate along the crease line thereby to form the fold line. The at least one cut has a depth less than the thickness of the substrate at the crease line.
PACKAGING WITH CENTERING ELEMENTS, BLANK, SET OF BLANKS, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CREATING PACKAGING OF THIS KIND
The present invention relates to material packaging made of corrugated cardboard sheet having a polygonal cross section, comprising lateral walls, a lower plane forming the bottom of the packaging, and an opposite upper plane. It comprises at least one portion (25, 26) projecting with respect to the upper plane. The bottom (30) comprises at least one surface portion (15, 16) that is cut out over a portion of the thickness of the cardboard sheet, is compressed and in the form of a non-through hollow, referred to as a hollow portion, the shape of which matches the projecting portion, in line with the latter and arranged to fit together with the projecting portion of the packaging below.
CONTAINER WITH AIR FLOW COOLING CHANNELS
A container has a plurality of planar panels integrally arranged with respect to each other and with respect to a set of orthogonal x, y and z axes, the z-axis defining a direction line in which the container is configured to support a stacking load, the plurality of panels being foldable to create the container. The plurality of planar panels form at least one outer surface disposed orthogonal to the z-axis, wherein a substantial portion of the outer surface has a recessed central portion of the outer surface that extends substantially across an entire outside dimension of the container.
