The perforations may include a lower perforation having a first end portion and a second end portion; a first side perforation extending upward toward the top flap from the first end portion of the lower perforation; and a second side perforation extending upward from the second end portion of the lower perforation, wherein the first side perforation and the second side perforation converge toward each other as they extend upward from the lower perforation. Various other packaging containers, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
SHIPPING CARTON WITH TRANSPARENT SECURITY WINDOWS
In some embodiments, a shipping carton has a front side defining four front edges and a back side defining four back edges, the front and back sides joined together by four lateral sides so that the carton defines an interior space. The front side includes at least one front transparent section in visual communication with the interior space and the back side includes at least one back transparent section in visual communication with the interior space. In other embodiments, a tubular shipping carton has a front portion that includes at least one front transparent section in visual communication with an interior space defined by a major surface of the tube and a back portion that includes at least one back transparent section in visual communication with the interior space.
BOX ASSEMBLY DEVICE AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING BOX
In a box assembly device, a holding mechanism causes one of bottom boards to contact a first jig and folds the bottom board inside, while the holding mechanism holding the box material in a state where the box material is developed in a cylindrical shape from a folded state. The folding mechanism folds the bottom flap inside so as to overlap with one of the bottom boards. The holding mechanism causes the other bottom board to contact the second jig while holding the box material and folds the other bottom board inside and upwardly so as to overlap with the bottom flap to engage the bottom boards with each other.
Method of Storing Adhesive Material with a Container
A foldable container and method of storing adhesive in which a single strip of adhesive material is attached to a single release liner featured on a side surface or a flap of the foldable container. The strips of adhesive material can be peeled off a surface of the container and applied to and used to seal the top and bottom surfaces of the container as needed. The container features one or more release liner(s) each with a single strip of adhesive material attached only to the release liner and not a surface of the container itself.
Container
A single piece container is provided that is made from cardboard, paperboard or other lightweight foldable sheet material. The container includes an outer shell, an inner shell and at least one spacer tab. The outer shell has a first end and a second end, and includes a plurality of side wall panels hingedly connected to one other about respective outer shell sidewall foldlines and extending between the first end and the second end of the outer shell. The second end of the outer shell is a closed end. The inner shell includes a first end, an opposite second end, and a plurality of side walls hingedly connected to one another about respective inner shell sidewall foldlines and extending between the first end and the second end of the inner shell. The inner shell is integrally connected to the outer shell along a foldline. The at least one spacer tab connects the inner shell and the outer shell, the spacer tab being released from a respective side wall panel of the inner shell. A single piece blank for said container is also provided.
Apparatus and method for activatable substrate application
A method of applying a tape to an article. The method includes contacting a first activatable adhesive composition of an adhesive tape with a placement device. The adhesive tape has a carrier substrate, the first activatable adhesive composition disposed on a first surface of the carrier substrate, and a second activatable adhesive composition disposed on a second surface of the carrier substrate. The method includes activating the first activatable adhesive composition such that the adhesive tape adheres to the placement device through the first activatable adhesive composition, separating the adhesive tape from a tape delivery system, activating the second activatable adhesive composition, contacting an article with the second activatable adhesive composition, and separating the placement device from the adhesive tape such that the adhesive tape remains adhered to the article.
Packaging container system with inserts
A packaging container for transporting multiple beverage articles is provided. The packaging container includes an outer carton and first and second insert trays. The first insert tray includes a base panel having one or more openings for receiving a lower portion of beverage article. The second insert tray includes a base panel having or more openings for receiving an intermediate portion of a beverage article and a top wall having one or more openings for receiving an upper portion of a beverage article. The openings in the first insert tray and the second insert tray are vertically aligned when the first and second insert trays are positioned within the outer carton to secure multiple beverage articles in a separated arrangement.
Self-sealing foldable container
A foldable container and method of using the same that includes one or more strips of adhesive material with one end fixed to the container's exterior surface and the other end inserted through slits in the flaps of the container such that the free ends of the strips of adhesive material are held in place on the container. A foldable container and method of using the same that features a release liner attached to the side of the foldable container such that strips of adhesive material can be peeled off of a surface of the container and applied to and used to seal the top and bottom surfaces of the container.
Prefolded cardboard blank, method and system for folding closed packaging boxes of varying height and length
Prefolded cardboard blank for folding closed packaging boxes of varying height and length, said blank comprising a bottom panel, two side panels, each joined to opposite edges of said bottom panel and a first end panel joined with a first edge to said bottom panel, with a second edge to one of said side panels and with a third edge to the other one of said side panels such that the first end panel and the side panels when erected from the bottom panel form together with the bottom panel a box having an open top and an open side, the first end panel having an end portion intended to form a first top panel, each side panel having an end portion intended to form at least one second top panel and a corner panel, the bottom panel having an end portion intended to form a second end panel and a third top panel, and each side panel having a crease line running at an angle of 45 upwards from a corner, where the edges of the respective side panel, the first end panel and the bottom panel meet.
Retaining box template and methods of use
Foldable templates include sheet material with a front surface and a retaining element connected to the sheet material extending over at least a portion of the front surface. In box insert configurations, the sheet material has transverse and longitudinal creases, the retaining element extending across the creases. In retaining box configurations, the sheet material includes a base panel and opposing longitudinal side walls, with transverse creases extending across the base panel and side walls. In each template, folding the sheet material upward along transverse creases opens a receiving area between the front surface and retaining element to receive a product. In the box insert configuration, folding the sheet material downward underneath the front surface along transverse creases pulls the retaining element tight over the product. In the retaining box configuration, folding the side walls upward flattens the transverse creases and pulls the retaining element tight over the product.
