Punching Bag Training System
A punching bag training system has a monitoring device, a group display, and training stations. Each training station has a station computing device, a punching bag, a punching sensor, and a training station identifier. The punching sensor has a punching sensor transmitter. The punching sensor is configured to wirelessly transmit punching sensor data utilizing the punching sensor transmitter. The punching sensor data may contain punch count, punch power, power punch, punch direction, and combinations thereof. The station computing device is configured to receive the punching sensor data.
Programmable exercise bicycle
The invention pertains to a stationary exercise bike along with a display that provides instruction to lead a rider through an exercise program. The invention allows a rider to obtain benefits of a group, instructor-led class though the rider's schedule does not permit the rider to participate in the class. The invention also describes a method of exercising with the foregoing bike and display.
Exercise device and method of exercising using said device
A mobile exercise device (1) having a plurality of exercise equipment modules (2, 3, 4). Each said module including a frame (7, 8, 9) defining a space (10, 11, 12) adapted to receive exercise equipment. A plurality of mounting means (46) locatable on said frames to connect said modules together. A plurality of indicators (30) operatively associated with said modules and adapted in use to direct a user and/or trainer to the equipment to use for a particular exercise routine.
Cardiovascular Exercise Device, System and Method
A cardiovascular exercise device is provided. The cardiovascular exercise device is for use to administer an exercise program including shuttle runs. The cardiovascular exercise device includes: a tower placeable at a first location; a user input associated with the tower; a pacing bar arranged to display a target pace of a user for a shuttle run of a track distance from the first location; and a processor configured to operate an exercise program. The administration of the exercise program includes the steps of: receiving a signal from the user input; defining a repetition as the time between subsequent signals from the user input; and indicating pacing information to the user based upon this signal.
Portable full body workout system
Presented is a portable full body work out system for indoor and outdoor uses. The system includes a pair of mounts configurable over an intended surface, a pair of bracket assembles releasably mountable over the mounts, a strap with extending around one or more pulleys of one of the bracket assemblies and operatively connecting to a securing device, a resistance band releasably mountable around a retainer member of one of the bracket assemblies and another coupled to the securing device. The securing device is selectively operated during initial set up to allow the user to adopt to an appropriate position to connect an external exercising accessory to the strap for performing an exercise. The user is able to select the desired resistance for the exercise, or reduce the selected resistance, or combine resistances for even greater resistance by selecting appropriate resistance bands, and/or changing the tension applied on the strap.
FOOTBALL TRAINING APPARATUS
Apparatus for football training is provided which includes a circular wall having an inward facing surface to support rebound of a football, which has been struck in a radial direction against this surface, back along said radial direction towards the centre of the circular wall. Multiple target indications are provided at respective angular locations around the circular wall. The apparatus has a control system for activating a series of target indications in sequence, and a monitoring system for determining whether the inward facing surface of the wall has been struck at the angular location corresponding to an activated target indication.
Balance trainer, mold assembly for making the same, and manufacturing process thereof
A balance trainer having a dome and a base formed integrally is provided. Also, a mold assembly for manufacturing the balance trainer that has a dome mold, a girdle, and a cover is provided. The girdle is sleeved on the dome mold and the cover is fixed on the girdle and thereby a cavity is formed in the mold assembly. Furthermore, a manufacturing process of the balance trainer is also provided. The process has the following steps: preparing ingredients of the dome and the base; feeding the ingredients of the dome into the dome mold; fixing a membrane on the dome mold via the girdle; feeding the ingredients of the base; sealing the ingredients via the cover; and then rotational molding. With the process and the mold, the rotational molding step can mold two materials at the same time, so the product can have two parts with different hardness.
BOX RACK WITH FUNCTIONAL TRAINING DEVICES
An exercise apparatus includes a squat rack comprising a number of members forming a cage, a resistance device associated the said squat rack, a cable pull device attached to one of said number of members, and a cable connecting the resistance device to the cable pull device, where the cable extends along one or more of the number of members such that sides of the cage are unobstructed by the cable.
Removable lat pull-down seat for an exercise system
An exercise machine may include a support frame with a first and second column; a plurality of guide members movably mounted along both columns; and at least one attachment detachably mounted onto either column, thereby securing the at least one attachment to the support frame. The at least one attachment may include a first portion; a second portion extending from the first portion; and a locking mechanism extending from the second portion. The locking mechanism may include at least one stationary locking pin received by either column; and a movable locking pin configured to be received by either column. The at least one attachment is detachably mounted onto either column simultaneously with the plurality of guide members, and at least one of the plurality of guide members positions an operative portion of a weight arrangement at a location along the support frame.
Multi-degree of freedom resistance exercise device
An exercise apparatus having a frame with attachments to multiple independent bidirectional resistance devices used by arms and/or legs of a user to provide resistance against movement of the user's appendages in two substantially opposed directions. The resistance devices may have a mechanism to control bi-directional resistance. The movement of the user's appendages in bi-directional resistance offers near full body exercise of agonist/antagonist muscles using flexion and extension action of larger muscle groups in a gait pattern, simultaneously. Hand engaging members attach to arm resistance devices and foot engaging members attach to leg resistance devices. The exercise apparatus may include an attached inclined backboard, mat, bench, or cushion to fully or partially support the user. The exercise apparatus may have separate height and/or length adjustment mechanisms for adjusting a range of motion of the user's appendages.
