CONTAINER WITH KNOCKOUT-STACKABLE GABLE WITH TOP TAB
The invention is directed to a stackable container having a gable type top wall and a gable type bottom wall. The top wall of the container can include an upwardly extending tab that cooperates with a slot in the bottom wall of a like container to facilitate stacking of two or more containers. The container includes a front opening.
Process for forming a window in a carton
A container with a non-heat-seal window and a process for fabricating a low surface energy container with a non-heat-seal window. The process comprises forming a container template and cutting an opening in the container template. A window comprising a window stock material, a releasable liner, and a wiped on adhesive positioned between the window stock material and the releasable liner is sized to overlap the opening. A portion of the adhesive is exposed and the window is positioned over the opening. The window is then secured to the container template over the opening without the need to apply heat, and the container template is folded into the low surface energy container with the window.
Multiple-Skived Paper-Based Container
The present invention relates generally to a new and improved paper-based container. More specifically, the invention relates to a paper-based container that is comprised of a relatively low-density polyethylene coating on one or both surfaces of the container and at least two skive flaps, wherein each of said skive flaps is created during the manufacturing process. The skive flap further comprises at least one leading edge of the container body, and prevents unwanted moisture from entering the container and the contents of the container from saturating the paper-based material. One skive flap is preferably folded in a manner in which a portion of the outside surface of the container is adhered to the inside surface, a second skive flap is adhered to the outside surface and a third skive is formed at the bottom of the container.
Package sleeve, package and method for manufacturing a package
Provided is a package sleeve made of a composite material for the manufacture of a package, including: a front surface, a rear surface, two side surfaces, base surfaces and gable surfaces which are arranged on opposite sides of the two side surfaces, the front surface and the rear surface, and a longitudinal seam which connects two edges of the composite material to form a package sleeve. The package sleeve has several fold lines. The two side surfaces have a secondary fold line running therethrough. The package sleeve is folded along both secondary fold lines. The package sleeve is open both in the region of the base surfaces and in the region of the gable surfaces. Also provided are a package and a method for manufacturing a package.
Double-Skived Paper-Based Container
The present invention relates generally to a new and improved paper-based container. More specifically, the invention relates to a paper-based container that is comprised of a relatively low-density polyethylene coating on one or both surfaces of the container and at least two skive flaps, wherein each of said skive flaps is created during the manufacturing process. The skive flap further comprises at least one leading edge of the container body, and prevents unwanted moisture from entering the container and the contents of the container from saturating the paper-based material. One skive flap is preferably folded in a manner in which a portion of the outside surface of the container is adhered to the inside surface, and a second skive flap is adhered to the outside surface.
Composite Pack Having an Elliptical Laminated Hole, a Cardboard/Plastic Composite Material, a Blank Made From This, and a Pouring Element for Use With Such a Composite Pack
The invention illustrates and describes a composite pack, in particular a parallelepipedal cardboard/plastic composite pack for pourable products, having an elliptical laminated hole which is provided in the composite pack gable, with an elliptical main axis and an elliptical minor axis, and a pouring element, comprising a basic body, a cutting element movably guided in the basic body and having the shape of a hollow cylinder with a cylinder outer diameter and a resealable screw cap, wherein the screw cap serves for opening the composite pack for the first time by activation of the cutting element, which thus forms a pouring opening in the region of the laminated hole and wherein first guidance means configured on the cutting element interact with second guidance means configured on the basic body. In order to create the largest possible outflow diameter, while maintaining an already existing variant of a laminated hole, or in order to optimise the system of laminated hole and cutting element below its normal limits, it is provided that the cylinder external diameter is at least as big as the length of the elliptical minor axis. This leads to the side wall of the hollow cylinder-shaped cutting element extending the laminated hole at least in sections.
PAPER CONTAINER
A paper container includes a body front panel (5), a body left side panel (6), a body right side panel (8), and a body back panel (7), which are contiguous through body vertical folding lines. A vertical direction sealing panel (25) is configured to form a quadrangular tubular body (26). A top portion (28) has an inclined surface (S) which is lower on the body front panel side and higher on the body back panel side. The inclined surface has an opening, and a spout is provided at the opening. The body vertical folding line through which the body front panel and the body right side panel are contiguous with each other and the body vertical folding line through which the body front panel and the body left side panel are contiguous with each other are approximately symmetrical bent lines bent toward a center of the body front panel.
SHEET PACKAGING MATERIAL FOR PRODUCING SEALED PACKAGES FOR POURABLE FOOD PRODUCTS, SEALED PACKAGE FOR POURABLE FOOD PRODUCTS AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING A SEALED PACKAGE FOR POURABLE PRODUCTS
There is described a pre-creased sheet packaging material for forming a sealed package comprising: a plurality of longitudinal crease lines, which extend along a longitudinal direction; a plurality of transversal crease lines, which extend along a transversal direction; at least one first additional crease line, which extends along a further direction, which is slanted with respect to longitudinal direction and transversal direction; a first joining point, at which longitudinal crease line and a transversal crease line join with respect to one another; and at least one first area, which is bounded by longitudinal crease line, transversal crease line and additional crease line; further direction being incident to first longitudinal crease line and to first transversal crease line in first joining point; at least one of first longitudinal crease line, first transversal crease line and first additional crease line being interrupted at first joining point.
Method of producing a packaging enveloping container precursors, especially each for a single dimensionally stable foodstuff container, with folding over of the container precursor
A method for precursor production includes A) providing a multitude of container precursors, and in each case a) providing a sheet-like composite, having a first longitudinal edge, a further longitudinal edge and, from the first longitudinal edge to the further longitudinal edge: i. a first longitudinal crease, ii. a second longitudinal crease, iii. a third longitudinal crease, and iv. a fourth longitudinal crease. The method includes b) producing a first longitudinal fold characterized by a first internal angle along the first longitudinal crease and a third longitudinal fold characterized by a third internal angle along the third longitudinal crease; c) producing a second longitudinal fold characterized by a second internal angle along the second longitudinal crease and a fourth longitudinal fold characterized by a fourth internal angle along the fourth longitudinal crease; d) contacting and joining the first longitudinal edge to the further longitudinal edge thereby obtaining a longitudinal seam.
