CONTAINER WITH LOCKING TAB CLOSURE
Herein is provided a container including a plurality of sidewalls (3, 7, 9) connected to one another along foldlines, and a base. The base includes first, second, third and fourth base flaps (11, 13, 15, 17) connected along respective foldlines to respective sidewalls. The second and third base flaps (13, 15) are folded over the first base flap (11) and the fourth base flap (17) is folded over the second and third base flaps (13, 15). The fourth base flap (17) includes a base panel portion which forms part of the exterior of the base and a locking tab portion connected to a distal end of the base panel portion. The locking tab portion is inserted into the interior of the container through a slot defined by the first, second and third base flaps (11, 13, 15) to retain the base in a closed configuration. A cutline is provided extending inwardly from the side edge of the fourth base flap (17) on each side of the fourth base flap (17) at a transition between the base panel portion and the locking tab portion.
FOLDING AND INTERLOCK STRUCTURES FOR REUSABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE BOXES
Plastic corrugated reusable boxes are provided. Two opposite side panels 12 erected from a blank over fold lines 18 at bottom panel edges; said side panel 12 having flaps 20 attached on either side folded inward and interlocked with flaps 22 folded inward from the opposite side. Narrow flaps 32 attached to top edges of said side panels 12 folded inward and flat. The rest two opposite side panels 14 erected over fold lines at rest bottom panel edges; top flaps 30 attached to the rest two side panels 14 folded inward covering the top surface. Interlocked flaps 20 and 22 are standing underneath top flaps 30 and alongside two opposite side panels 14. Lock tabs 40 attached to top flaps 20 folded down and inserted into said lock slots embedded in narrow flaps 22 alongside side panels 12 top edges.
FOLDING AND INTERLOCK STRUCTURES FOR REUSABLE AND COLLAPSIBLE BOXES
Plastic corrugated reusable boxes are provided. A blank used for making a container is disclosed. The blank comprises a first primary panel, a second primary panel, and a secondary panel. The first primary panel is hingedly coupled to a first primary flap. The second primary panel is hingedly coupled to a second primary flap. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to a secondary flap. The first primary flap comprises a main portion and a tip portion. The main portion is hingedly coupled to a first handle. The tip portion is positioned between the main portion and the first handle. The secondary flap is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and the main portion when the container is in a box configuration. The tip portion is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and an interior space of the container when the container is in the box configuration.
Blank used for making a container with interlocking flaps and a handle
A blank used for making a container is disclosed. The blank comprises a first primary panel, a second primary panel, and a secondary panel. The first primary panel is hingedly coupled to a first primary flap. The second primary panel is hingedly coupled to a second primary flap. The secondary panel is hingedly coupled to a secondary flap. The first primary flap comprises a main portion and a tip portion. The main portion is hingedly coupled to a first handle. The tip portion is positioned between the main portion and the first handle. The secondary flap is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and the main portion when the container is in a box configuration. The tip portion is configured to be positioned between the second primary flap and an interior space of the container when the container is in the box configuration.
DOUBLE-WALLED CONTAINER
A single piece container made of cardboard, paperboard or other flexible sheet material which provides improved strength properties, but without the need to laminate layers of sheet material together by having an outer shell comprising sidewall panels (3, 5, 7, 9) and a set of inner sidewall panels (11, 13, 15, 17) connected to the outer shell at foldlines. The set of inner sidewall panels includes a first inner sidewall panel in facing relationship with the inner surface of a first outer shell sidewall panel and integrally connected to one of the outer shell sidewall panels along a foldline, and a first set of further inner sidewall panels integrally connected to the first inner sidewall panel along a foldline, the sidewall panels of the set of further inner sidewall panels being hingedly connected to one another about respective foldlines. The set of inner sidewall panels also includes a second set of further inner sidewall panels integrally connected to the first inner sidewall panel along a foldline, the sidewall panels of the second set of further inner sidewall panels being hingedly connected to one another about respective foldlines.
DOUBLE-WALLED CONTAINER
A single piece container (200) made from cardboard, paperboard or other lightweight foldable sheet material is provided. The container (200) includes an outer shell and an inner shell. The outer shell has first and second ends (202, 204), and includes a plurality of outer shell sidewall panels (3, 5, 7, 9) hingedly connected to one other about respective outer shell sidewall foldlines. The outer shell sidewall panels (3, 5, 7, 9) extend between the first and second ends (202, 204) of the outer shell. At least the second end of the outer shell is a closed end. The inner shell includes a plurality of inner shell sidewall panels hingedly connected to one other about respective inner shell sidewall foldlines. The inner shell is integrally connected to the outer shell along a foldline. Each one of the inner shell sidewall panels is in face-to-face contact with the inner surface of a respective one of the outer shell sidewall panels (3, 5, 7, 9).
TAMPER EVIDENT TUCK END CONTAINERS
A blank for forming a tamper evident container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space, including a first side panel, a top panel, a second side panel and a bottom panel. A bottom flap is foldably connected to an edge of the bottom panel on the first end of the blank. A top flap is foldably connected to an edge of the top panel on the first end of the blank. The bottom flap includes a major flap and a minor flap, the major flap connecting between the bottom panel and the minor flap. The top flap includes a catch point feature and wherein the minor flap includes a trap aperture configured to catch the catch point feature of the top flap when opening a container constructed from the blank to provide a tamper evident access feature.
TAMPER EVIDENT TUCK END CONTAINERS
A blank for forming a tamper evident container includes a plurality of panels connected together at fold lines configured for extending at least partially around an interior space, including a first side panel, a top panel, a second side panel and a bottom panel. A bottom flap is foldably connected to an edge of the bottom panel on the first end of the blank. A top flap is foldably connected to an edge of the top panel on the first end of the blank. The bottom flap includes a major flap and a minor flap, the major flap connecting between the bottom panel and the minor flap. The top flap includes a catch point feature and wherein the minor flap includes a trap aperture configured to catch the catch point feature of the top flap when opening a container constructed from the blank to provide a tamper evident access feature.
PACKAGING CONTAINERS AND ASSOCIATED CONTAINER BLANKS AND PACKAGING METHODS
A packaging container (100) configurable between at least a loading configuration and a flattened configuration, the packaging container including a front wall major panel (110) and a rear wall major panel (130) connected to the front wall major panel, wherein the front wall major panel and the rear wall major panel define four side walls (122, 124, 142, 144) when the packaging container is in the loading configuration, and wherein the front wall major panel and the rear wall major panel define two side walls when the packaging container is in the flattened configuration.
