Injection-Molded Composite Construct
A frame is injection molded onto a group of panels to form a container. The panels extend at least partially around, and at least partially define, a cavity of the container.
CONTAINER WITH LINER
A container for heating a food product. The container comprises a base layer of material and a liner releasably attached to an inner surface of the base layer. The liner is separable from the base layer after heating the container. The container comprises a bottom panel, and end panel foldably connected to the bottom panel, a side panel foldably connected to the bottom panel, and a corner panel foldably connected to the bottom panel. The corner panel extends between the end panel and the side panel.
Container having a rim or other feature encapsulated by or formed from injection-molded material
A method for forming a container having an injection-molded feature. The method includes obtaining a blank, forming the blank into a three-dimensional article having at least one sidewall, and forming the injection-molded feature extending around the perimeter of the article. The injection-molded feature comprises an anchor portion and a flange portion. The anchor portion is in contact with an interior surface of the at least one sidewall and the flange portion extends from the anchor portion outwardly from the at least one sidewall.
INJECTION-MOLDED COMPOSITE CONSTRUCT AND TOOL FOR FORMING CONSTRUCT
A structure is injection molded onto a group of panels to form a container. The container has a tray and an injection-molded feature. The tray has a plurality of side panels that extend at least partially around, and at least partially define, a cavity of the container. The tray has a plurality of multi-part flanges with at least one of the multi-part flanges including a lower flange portion and an upper flange portion. The injection-molded feature has band that is injected molded onto the lower flange portion and the upper flange portion. An injection-molded strip extends along and at least partially defines the corner of the container. The strip extends downward from the inner portion of the band in the elongate corner of the container. A tool is also disclosed for forming the container.
Container having a rim or other feature encapsulated by or formed from injection-molded material
A tool and method for forming a container from a construct. The tool comprising a cavity for receiving a construct, a core operatively associated with the cavity and being operable to move into the cavity, an injection cavity for receiving injection-molding material and directing injection-molding material around at least a portion of the perimeter of the construct, and a clamping feature. The clamping feature is operatively connected to at least one of the cavity and the core and is for clamping a peripheral portion of the construct as the core moves into the cavity to form the construct into the container.
Stackable product package and method of manufacturing the same as well as product package blank
The invention relates to a stackable product package, a method of manufacturing the same and a product package blank. The stackable product package comprises a body part (2) provided with a bottom (3), and with walls (2a, 2b, 2c) in connection with the bottom (3), as well as with rim members (4a) folded outwards along folding lines (4e), at the top edge of the walls, and constituting a substantially planar rim portion (4), the body part (2) enclosing a receiving space for the product to be packed. At the lateral edges of each intermediate wall (2c) of the body part (1), and in proximity to a folding line (2e), bracket members (2f, 2g) are provided to keep the product packages (1), when nested, spaced apart.
Container with liner
A container for heating a food product. The container comprises a base layer of material and a liner releasably attached to an inner surface of the base layer. The liner is at least partially attached to the base layer by a heat seal layer, and the liner is separable from the base layer after heating the container. The container comprises a bottom panel and a sidewall extending along the bottom panel.
