Collapsible portable reusable container
A collapsible portable reusable container having a plurality of sides, gussets and opposing tension folds, as a tension hinge, optionl brackets as needed, with each gusset having a first section and a second section. One section of the gusset is foldably connected to a panel having an opposing tension fold, preferably on an adjacent connected panel, creating a tension hinge. The above gusset and opposing tension fold placements, allow a user to transform the container from a folded, collapsed position to a freestanding, open position in one simple move with no need for a securing mechanism to keep the container in an open position.
Food containers
A container for a food product generally includes a tray and a cover attached to the tray by ultrasonic bonds. The tray includes a bottom having a perimeter and a sidewall extending along the perimeter of the bottom to form a cavity sized to receive the food product. The sidewall defines an opening for the food product to be placed into the cavity. The tray also includes a flange extending from an edge of the sidewall and around the opening. The flange has a single layer first area with a first thickness and a second area comprised of at least two layers with a second thickness. The second thickness is at least twice as thick as the first thickness. The ultrasonic bonds extend along the entire sidewall of the container to form a continuous, hermetic seal between the cover and the tray around the opening.
Packaging, especially for food
A packaging, especially for food, including a cardboard shell and a cover placed thereon in the closed state and which engages over the outside of an upper edge of the shell. Inwardly protruding nubs arranged at at least two opposing side walls of the cover interact with retaining elements at associated side walls of the shell. The side walls having the retaining elements each have a wall portion which is connected to the bottom of the shell by a bend, a first reinforcing portion connected to the upper end of the wall portion by a bend, a second reinforcing portion connected to the first reinforcing portion by a bend and an adhesive-secured portion connected to the second reinforcing portion by a bend and which is adhesively bonded to the outer side of the wall portion. A sub-portion of the wall portion that lies above the adhesive-secured portion, and the first and second reinforcing portions delimit a triangular channel. The retaining elements are formed by edges of openings in or by downwardly directed outer surfaces of the second reinforcing portions.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COOLING BEVERAGES IN RETAIL CONSUMER PACKAGING
A method and system is disclosed which provides for cooling beverage containers in a retail consumer multiple beverage container package which includes expandable corners, movable panels, and the ability to expand the interior space in the retail consumer multiple beverage container package so as to permit introduction of ice into the retail consumer multiple beverage container package. The interior space is expanded by stretching accordion joints between panels.
LEAK PROOF CONTAINER WITH ADHESIVE ATTACHMENT
A leak proof container and a method of forming the container from a blank. The blank includes a bottom panel, first and second side panels connected to the bottom panel at opposing lateral edges, and first and second end portions located at opposing longitudinal ends of the blank. Each end portion includes an inner end panel connected to the bottom panel, an outer end panel connected to the inner end panel, and first and second corner panels forming gussets connected to a respective one of the first and second side panels and connected to the inner end panel. An adhesive area is located on one side of the blank and comprises at least a portion on each of the outer end panel and the inner end panel. The adhesive area adheres the gussets to the inner end panel and to the outer end panel.
Cylindrical container with pleated sidewall that converts into a serving bowl
A container for holding a product such as snack food, wherein the container is transformable from a cylindrical shape to a bowl shape adapted to hold and provide easy access to the product. The container has a pleated sidewall comprising a plurality of longitudinally extending rigid sidewall panels and pleats, with each sidewall panel connected to adjacent pleats by frangible lines extending in the longitudinal direction.
LOCKING BOX
A blank can include a main panel and a locking tab extending from and separable from the main panel and including a first tab subpanel, a second tab subpanel, and a third tab subpanel; the first tab subpanel extending from the main panel, the second tab subpanel extending from the first tab subpanel and joined to the first tab subpanel at a first bend line, and the third tab subpanel extending from the second tab subpanel and joined to the second tab subpanel at a second bend line.
Straddle flange top seal punnet
A container comprising a bottom panel defining a base of the container, and a plurality of side walls extending from the bottom panel and defining an interior area of the container, wherein the plurality of side walls include at least opposing first and second side walls. A first flange structure is connected to each of the first and second side walls along respective fold lines at an upper edge of the container. Each first flange structure straddles a respective side wall and comprises an inner flange portion extending over the interior area of the container, and an outer flange portion, coplanar with the inner flange portion, extending away from the interior of the container, wherein the outer flange portion is defined by one or more tabs.
Bag, in particular a shopping bag, and a method for forming said bag
The invention relates to a folded bag and a method for forming a bag from a square or rectangular shaped sheet, which method comprises the steps of dividing the sheet into nine fields arranged such that eight fields surround a central field; folding the sheet along folding-lines between and across the fields in such a way that the central field forms the bottom of the bag and the eight surrounding fields form the sides of the bag and at least one inner wall providing separated compartments in the bag.
Leak proof container with push lock body and rollover hinge
A leak proof container and a method of forming the container from a blank. The blank includes a bottom panel, first and second side panels at opposing lateral edges of the blank, and opposing end portions located at opposing longitudinal ends of the blank. Each end portion includes an inner end panel, an outer end panel hingedly connected to the inner end panel at hinge portions, and first and second corner panels, each corner panel forming a gusset between one of the side panels and the inner end panel, each gusset including a notch area for receiving one of the hinge portions. First and second locking tabs are defined in the outer end panel. The outer end panel can be folded over the inner end panel to position the hinge portions in the notch areas, and the locking tabs can be positioned between the gussets and the inner end panel.
