A convertible shipping container for goods includes a tray portion that includes a first wall. The first wall is configured to be oriented as a front wall of the convertible shipping container in a first display configuration and as a bottom wall of the convertible shipping container in a second display configuration. The convertible shipping container also includes a cover portion removably coupled to the tray portion such that the cover portion is coupled to the tray portion in the first display configuration and is detachable from the tray portion to form the second display configuration.

Carton and method of creating the carton

A carton is formed by folding and interconnecting a plurality of body pieces to establish at least front and rear panels and opposing side panels which can be joined to establish the carton with an interior cavity for containing edible products. At least two of the front, rear and opposing side panels are interconnected by one or more bridge tabs so as to constitute a unitary, single one of the separate body pieces, thereby preventing the interconnected panels from skewing during assembly of the carton.

A secure shipping container includes an inner sleeve formed in the shape of a tray that can be inserted into an outer sleeve formed as a tube with one closed end and one open end. The inner sleeve is sized to be shorter than the outer sleeve so that when full inserted into the outer sleeve the contents of the tray are not accessible, and the inner sleeve is not removable without a special opening tool. Each sleeve includes a slot into which an opener can be inserted to permit a user to slide the inner sleeve out of the outer sleeve in order to access the contents of the container. A method of assembly of the components and use to ship materials is also described.
