Carton and Method of Creating the Carton

A carton (5) is formed by folding and interconnecting a plurality of body pieces (15, 19, 21) to establish at least front and rear panels (25,35) and opposing side panels (59,77) which can be joined to establish the carton with an interior cavity (90) for containing edible products. At least two of the front, rear and opposing side panels are interconnected by one or more bridge tabs (56-58; 100; 110, 115; 120, 121; 130, 131; 150-152; 160-162) so as to constitute a unitary, single one of the separate body pieces, thereby preventing the interconnected panels from skewing during assembly of the carton.

A pallet-sized shipping and display tray includes a base portion having an interior space and opposed sides ends. The respective spaced-apart first and second vertical columns each of which is configured to be positioned in the opposed ends of the interior space of the base portion. Each of the respective first and second spaced-apart vertical columns includes two shoulder panels, two coterminous spine panels, and two arm panels all of which are foldably joined to one another. At least one deck is configured to be attached to the respective spaced-apart first and second vertical columns to form a bridge. The at least one deck includes a supporting panel having two side depending flanges and two end depending flanges all of which foldably joined to one another so as to adequately support a weight of one or more upper display trays when they are stacked upon one another.

A container for packaging at least one product includes a front wall defining a first foot region at a lower end thereof; a bottom wall connected to a rear wall; first and second side walls connected to the rear wall and the bottom wall being disposed between the front wall and the rear wall, such that a receptacle is defined therebetween, wherein the at least one product is at least partially received between the first and second side walls, and a second foot region attached to the first foot region to form a foot that extends downwardly from the bottom wall away from the receptacle; and supports each opposite the foot, and wherein the container is configured such that upon seating the foot and the supports on a horizontal planar surface the container is inclined obliquely to the horizontal planar surface.

A method of forming a box is discussed. A sheet of foldable material has a central region and tabs extending from the central region around its perimeter. Each tab includes a first fold line at the central region, and second and third spaced apart fold lines parallel to the first fold line. A reinforcement ring has a perimeter corresponding to the perimeter of the central region and a thickness greater than a thickness of the sheet. The reinforcement ring is disposed on the central region. Each tab is folded along the first fold line to extend transversely to the central region against the reinforcement ring, along the second fold line to extend inwardly over the reinforcement ring, and along the third fold line to extend transversely to the central region against the reinforcement ring. The tabs folded around the reinforcement ring define side wall(s) of the box.

A sleeve pack for forming a bulk bin includes a base for forming a bottom of the bulk bin and a perimeter wall assembly. The perimeter wall assembly includes two blanks that can be connected to one another at interlocking connections to form a perimeter wall of the bulk bin. Locking tabs are associated with at least one of the wall blanks, and corresponding locking openings are associated with at least one other of the wall blanks. The openings oppose the tabs and the tabs are lockingly inserted into the openings to secure the wall members together to form the perimeter wall of the bulk bin.
