Method of opening a box
A method of opening a box includes providing the box in a closed configuration, the box comprising a first top panel attached to a second top panel, the first top panel comprising a first sealing flap, a second sealing flap, and a middle flap disposed therebetween; removing a first tear strip of the first sealing flap to detach the first sealing flap from the second top panel; and removing a second tear strip of the second sealing flap to detach the second sealing flap from the second top panel and to configure the box in an open configuration.
Container having leak-resistant fold-in tray and blank therefor
A container formed from a blank of sheet material includes an outer tray having a bottom wall, front and rear walls, and first and second side walls. A fold-in tray is configured to nest within the outer tray. The fold-in tray is hingedly connected along an upper edge of at least one of the first side wall, the second side wall, the front wall, and the rear wall.
Visibility packaging for energy storage elements
Visibility packaging for energy storage elements includes a front wall spaced apart from a rear wall and provided with at least one viewing cutout and at least one web having a central apex region fixed to a contact region of the rear wall, wherein the web and the rear wall together form a K-shaped cross section in a closure position and the web closes a removal opening of a receiving space, and the rear wall has at least one perforation that delimits a contact region from a remainder of the rear wall and makes it possible to separate the contact region from the rear wall such that the web can be transferred by a folding operation into a removal position in which the apex region of the web is spaced apart from the rear wall and the web frees the removal opening of the receiving space.
RECYCLABLE SHIPPING PACK AND METHOD OF AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING A SHIPPING PACK FOR LOOSE-FILL PRODUCE
A container blank (1), so sized and shaped as to form a shipping pack having front (2) and rear (3) walls to which there are attached, along respective fold lines (2a,2b,3a), side wall sections (11,12;16,17) each being foldable so that said front and rear walls are in juxtaposed alignment, wherein an interior open-mouthed bag (30) is adhered to the inner surfaces of the front and rear walls. When a shipping pack is erected from said container blank, the folded interior bag (30) is deployed to align with the inner volume of said erected pack so as to provide a lined open-mouthed container to be filled and subsequently sealed for dispatch. The shipping pack is configurable in a folded flat stackable form having an interior bag in situ for storage or dispatch and is easily machine assembled or manually formed into an open-mouthed shipping pack at point of use.

CORRUGATED CARDBOARD COOLER
A box is made by folding a sheet of material. Preferably, the box is formed by applying adhesive and folding using a machine, and a waterproof or water-resistant coating is applied to the sheet of material so that the box is configured for use as a cooler. The box includes: a storage portion, including a bottom panel, first and second end panels, and first and second side panels; four corner panels; and first and second top panels. The top panels include openings that register when the box is assembled and in a closed configuration to define an opening to be used as a handhold for gripping the box. Reinforcing panels of one of the top panels includes flaps located on an interior of the box that cover the handhold opening. The box further preferably includes a locking tab and locking panel for latching closed the top panels of the box.
Square liquids retaining bowl-type folded container
A liquid retaining folded laminar container made from a cold or heat pre-cut paper or plastic sheet. The laminar container comprises engraved lines that enable folding to form a container. The laminar container has a circular base having a double concentric cone. The laminar container's sides close on itself to create a self-bearing square, or geometric, outline container with lids. The container is manually formed from the an engraved laminar sheet. The containers can be stored and transported flat.
Multiple-skived paper-based container
The present invention relates generally to a new and improved paper-based container. More specifically, the invention relates to a paper-based container that is comprised of a relatively low-density polyethylene coating on one or both surfaces of the container and at least two skive flaps, wherein each of said skive flaps is created during the manufacturing process. The skive flap further comprises at least one leading edge of the container body, and prevents unwanted moisture from entering the container and the contents of the container from saturating the paper-based material. One skive flap is preferably folded in a manner in which a portion of the outside surface of the container is adhered to the inside surface, a second skive flap is adhered to the outside surface and a third skive is formed at the bottom of the container.
BOX WITH FOLDABLE HANDLE
A box can include a first side panel; a second side panel positioned perpendicular to the first side panel; a top panel joined to the first side panel; and a handle assembly, the handle assembly including: a handle portion attached the top panel, the handle portion including a tab at a side end of the handle portion, and a locking panel attached to the second side panel, the locking panel defining a cut pattern, the cut pattern including a first side cut and a second side cut, a flap defined between the first side cut and the second side cut, the first side cut diverging into an inner cut extending along a bottom of the flap and an outer cut defining a space below the bottom of the flap, a portion of the second side cut extending along the bottom of the flap.
Perforated collapsible box
A collapsible box can include a top panel; a front panel hingedly attached to the top panel; a first side panel hingedly attached to the top panel and the front panel; a second side panel hingedly attached to the top panel and the front panel; a rear panel hingedly attached to the top panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel; and a bottom panel hingedly attached to the front panel, the rear panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel; and wherein the front panel defines a frame portion and a lower flap portion connected together by a front line of weakness; wherein the frame portion is coupled to the first side panel, the second side panel, and the bottom panel; and wherein the lower flap portion is coupled to the top panel.
Box blank
A box blank useful for forming a container includes a first layer including paperboard, a second layer including a paper layer and a foil layer, and an adhesive layer adhering the first layer to the second layer. The foil layer is between the paperboard and the paper layer.
