FLIP-TOP CONTAINER WITH IMPROVED RESISTANCE AGAINST BREAKAGE AT THE HINGE CONNECTION

The invention relates to a container (1) comprising a main part and a lid (8)which is rotationally moveable around a folding line (21) in a rear panel (5) of the container (1). Parallel and spaced apart transverse cuts (31) are provided at or near a central part of the folding line (21), the transverse cuts (31) extending substantially symmetrically across and perpendicular to the folding line. An end cut (32) may be arranged near but at a distance from each end of the folding line (21), the end cuts (32) going through the thickness of the rear panel (5), and the folding line (21) being perforated between the end cuts (32) and the end of the folding line (21) adjacent to the side panels (4). The end cuts (32) may be in the form of two linear and coherent sub-cuts arranged non-perpendicular to the folding line (21).

The plurality of panels including a support panel, a side panel adjacent the support panel, a back panel adjacent the side panel, another side panel adjacent the back panel, and a front panel adjacent the side panel, wherein adjacent panels are connected with one another. The plurality of upper flaps comprises a side panel flap hingedly connected to the side panel and having an opening configured to receive a dosing cup. A plurality of legs are configured to be erectable from the plurality of lower flaps. A first line of weakness formed in the front panel, wherein the first line of weakness defines a severable portion that is configured to be removable; and a second line of weakness formed in the support panel, wherein the second line of weakness defines a pivotable portion that is configured to be hingedly connected to the bag-in-box container.

Dividable shipping package

This disclosure describes, in part, systems and methods for utilizing a dividable package for efficient shipment of items. The dividable package includes two or more internal compartments for securing items for shipment, the internal compartments enclosed by a cover having a detachment mechanism. Upon activation of the detachment mechanism, previously covered labels on each of the internal compartments identifying the items within are exposed.

PACKAGING

A child resistant package is made from paperboard, cardboard or other foldable sheet material. The package includes an outer sleeve having a closed end and an opposed open end and an inner sleeve, telescopically received within the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve has a closed end adjacent the open end of the outer sleeve. The inner sleeve is joined to the outer sleeve by a frangible connection. The package further includes a selectively releasable lock between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve for preventing withdrawal of the inner sleeve from the outer sleeve after the frangible connection between the inner sleeve and the outer sleeve has been broken. An opening tab is formed in the outer sleeve and is configured to break the frangible connection between the inner and outer sleeves when the tab is released from the outer sleeve and to provide an opening in the outer sleeve to provide access to the inner sleeve such that the inner sleeve may be pressed inwardly in order to release the releasable lock between the inner and outer sleeves.

CORRUGATED PAPERBOARD BOX, PERFORATION FORMING METHOD FOR PERFORATING CORRUGATED PAPERBOARD SHEET, AND PERFORATION FORMING DEVICE AND PERFORATION FORMING UNIT FOR PERFORATING CORRUGATED PAPERBOARD SHEET

A corrugated paperboard box is provided in which when flaps are bent, a perforated line along which the flaps can be separated from the box is less likely to break. Such a corrugated paperboard box includes a peripheral wall and top flaps, and is formed, at the boundary area between the peripheral wall and the top flaps, with a groove-shaped reverse scoreline recessed on the side of an outer linerboard, and a pair of groove-shaped recesses recessed on the side of an inner linerboard, and extending in parallel to each other so as to sandwich the area in which the reverse scoreline extends. The corrugated paperboard box is further formed, in one of the groove-shaped recesses, with a perforated line along which the top flaps can be separated from the peripheral wall. The top flaps can be bent along the perforated line toward the inner surface of the peripheral wall.

A panel interlocking arrangement for securing a pair of panels together comprising: first and second panels for placement in an overlapping position. The first and second panels are disposed at least in part in a face-contacting arrangement. A pair of locking elements are provided for locking engagement with each other to secure the first and second panels in the overlapping position. The pair of locking elements comprises a male locking element and female locking element. The female locking element is formed in the second panel and the male locking element is connected to the first panel.

SYSTEM OF PACKAGING AND DISPLAYING A SET OF PRODUCTS

A system of packaging and displaying a set of products is disclosed. The system may include a first and second container, together forming a hinged box, each container including a first display face, and a first back positioned on a side of the container opposite the first display face. A first magnetic element and a second element magnetically responsive to the first magnetic element may be positioned in the containers to assist in closing the box. At least one of the containers includes a transparent cover that secures, even in the open position of the box, displayed products, the displayed product visible through the cover when the box is hinged open. Packing includes a body section, a cover section, and a label. The body section has a first opening. The cover section closes the first opening. The label is adhered so as to span across the cover section and the body section. At least one of the body section and the cover section has a cut section. The cut section is located at a position where the label is adhered. The cut section of the packing is damaged when the label is removed. As a result, the label has a roughened surface in a situation in which the label is re-adhered. The roughened surface allows visual confirmation of an evidence of tampering with the packing. Thus, the packing is difficult to reseal, restricting tampering with the packing.
