System and method for targeted neurological therapy using brainwave entrainment with passive treatment
A system and method for targeted neurological treatment using brainwave entrainment therapy with passive treatment that allows for targeted treatment of particular areas of the brain, particular neurological functions, particular neurological states, and combinations of areas, functions, and states. The system and method receive gait parameters for an individual and compare those against a database of historical gait data to determine if an onset neurodegenerative condition is present, and applies a brainwave entrainment therapy responsive to the determination of the condition. The system and method receive a neurological assessment identifying areas of the brain or neurological functions to be treated, select one or more treatment modalities and frequencies, select a treatment regimen, and apply brainwave entrainment using a treatment regimen while the subject engages in dual-task activities selected to stimulate the areas of the brain, neurological functions, or neurological states to be treated, enhanced, or altered.
Virtual reality haptic system and apparatus
A virtual reality (VR) system includes a VR display and a VR movement apparatus that includes hand user interfaces (UIs) and foot UIs that can support the hands, feet, seat, and total weight of a user. The VR movement apparatus allow the user's hands and feet to move in 3-dimensional space that include vertical, lateral, and fore-aft direction movements. A computer running VR software coordinate and synchronizes the VR movement apparatus and the VR display to provide system users with simulated activities in a VR environment.
Annular multimedia stadium goalpost and multipurpose target display system
An annular multimedia stadium goalpost and multipurpose target display system. The system includes a rear support-and-multimedia assembly for supporting the net and producing audible and visual effects. The system also includes a at least one annular frame and a primary projector. The rear support-and-multimedia assembly includes a support assembly and a multimedia bar system. The support assembly maintains the annular frame and the multimedia bar system in an orientation that facilitates playing sports and projecting information. The multimedia bar system includes a plurality of lights, a plurality of first speakers, a plurality of sponsor display panels, a retractably screen assembly, and a retractably underground projector in order to audible and visually convey content regarding the sports game and advertisements to the audience. The system also includes an annular display, and a multitude of rangefinder laser-detector video cameras to track, record, and present gameplay live.
Basketball architecture
A basketball goal system comprising a backboard assembly and suspension frame affixed to the back surface, a suspension structure connected to the suspension frame of the backboard and a goal indication system which interfaces to at least one of the suspension structure or backboard to cause an indication (of various colors) to be presented via the suspension system and/or the backboard which indication relates to the shot points associated with a shot attempted at the goal. The goal indication system causes presentation of a cue on a front surface of the backboard, which cue is of a color corresponding to shot points. The backboard elements and light emission of the suspension frame can be controlled synchronously or asynchronously.
FORCE SENSING STRUCTURE
A force detection system includes first and second sets of pressure sensors, memory, and a processing module. The first set of pressure sensors are in an insole of a shoe and the second set of pressure sensors are in an outsole of a shoe. The processing module receives first data regarding the first set of pressure sensors and generates a first digital representation of the first data. The processing module also receives second data regarding the second set of pressure sensors and generates a second digital representation of the second data. The processing module also writes the first and second digital representations to the memory.
PROXIMITY SENSOR TECHNIQUES
A system for sensing true positive impacts may include a sensing device configured for secured coupling to a user. The sensing device may include a sensor configured for sensing accelerations of an impact and for generating a signal based on the impact. The sensing device may also include a control sensor for sensing when the sensing device is in position for sensing. The sensing device may also include a computer-readable storage medium having instructions stored thereon for receiving and capturing the signal from the sensor, and comparing first and second signals from the control sensor to determine if the signal is a true positive signal. The system may also include a processor for processing the instructions to capture the signal, perform the comparing, and identify the signal as a true positive signal. Method of sensing true positive impacts and of workload monitoring are also provided.
BRAKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise cycle having a frame and a flywheel include calibration, homing and auto-follow routines. A resistance apparatus comprising an actuator is configured to selectively position the resistance apparatus relative to the flywheel, wherein a distance between the resistance apparatus to the flywheel corresponds to resistance applied to the flywheel. Control components are configured to control operation of the resistance system in response to instructions, and a computing device is configured to output media for an exercise class to a user, the exercise class comprising one or more target resistance ranges corresponding to a segment of the exercise class. The computing device is further configured to selectively implement auto-follow logic configured to determine a target resistance value for a current segment of the exercise class and instruct the control components to adjust the resistance system to the target resistance value.
Method and apparatus for providing guide information associated with exercise intensity on basis of user activity information
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for providing personal coach for user's exercise in an electronic device. According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device may include sensor circuitry and a processor, wherein the processor may be configured to determine at least one activity information which satisfies a designated condition among one or more activity information previously obtained in relation to a user motion, to determine a first exercise intensity for the user, based at least on variation of the at least one activity information over time, to determine a second exercise intensity by adjusting the first exercise intensity, based at least on a previous target of exercise of the user, and to provide guide information associated with the second exercise intensity. Various embodiments are feasible.
Swim AR goggles
Swimming goggles have a left-eye covering and a right-eye covering, each having a corresponding transparent window that defines a field of view and each further having a seal extending between the transparent window and the swimmer's face and formed to exclude water. A near-eye display is in signal communication with an image processor and forms a virtual image in the left- or right-eye field of view.
CONTROLLING ACCESS TO A STATIONARY EXERCISE MACHINE
Controlling access to a stationary exercise machine. In one aspect of the disclosure, a method may include establishing one or more authorized users of a stationary exercise machine having one or more moveable members, automatically locking the one or more moveable members of the stationary exercise machine, and receiving a request to perform a workout on the stationary exercise machine. In response to the receiving of the request to perform the workout on the stationary exercise machine, the method may include automatically determining whether any of the one or more authorized users is proximate to the stationary exercise machine.
