A carton for holding at least one article is disclosed herein. The carton includes panels that extend at least partially around the interior of the carton including a front panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, and a back panel. A reclosable top has a first top panel foldably connected to the front panel, a second top panel foldably connected to the back panel, a first gusset foldably connected to the first side panel, and a second gusset foldably connected to the second side panel. The reclosable top is positionable between a closed position and an open position. The first gusset and the second gusset have closure features biasing the first top panel and the second top panel to the closed position.

The system can include a container for storing a plurality of items set at a first position, wherein the container is configured with a trapezoidal configuration. The system can also include the plurality of items set at a second position, wherein the plurality of items are positioned within the container to enable the container to store the plurality of items. Further, the system can include a cover set at a third position with a trapezoidal shape, wherein the cover is positioned over the container to protect the plurality of items stored in the container. The system can also include a handle configured to an exterior portion of the cover with the trapezoidal shape, wherein the handle is set to lift the cover along with the plurality of items stored within the container in a vertical direction.

The thermally insulating pad includes a compostable panel that holds together as a single unit and is formed primarily of starch, the panel providing a rectangular plate dimensioned to substantially span whichever of the floor, plurality of side walls or cover that the rectangular plate is adjacent, and a compostable or recyclable water-proof polymer film forming a pocket and surrounding the panel with the panel slidable within the pocket.
