Container for removably retaining a razor cartridge with razorblades including a zinc strip and a central stabilizer with a tab and wings to provide an evenly distributed downward force in the direction of the zinc strip
A container retained in a closed condition by an internal spring force. When the container is in a closed condition, a razorblade cartridge containing at least one razorblade having a sharp front edge faces a zinc strip removably retained within an interior chamber of the container. A convex shape of the zinc strip creates an upward orientation of the zinc strip to enhance contact with the razor blade. A central stabilizer is retained in the interior chamber of the container, the central stabilizer having a downwardly extending tab to provide a downward force on a razorblade cartridge. A pair of oppositely disposed wings on the central stabilizer provides an even distribution of the downward force.
Substantively hermetically sealing container
A container that seals in a volume of material is provided. The container may be routinely opened, closed and material may be removed or added. A removable plate and a base define a maximum volume available for material when the container is sealed. A screen may be disposed between the plate and the base. The screen may optionally be comprised within the base, adhered to the base, or removable from the base. Features for enabling manipulation of the plate and/or screen are optionally provided.
BASKET
A basket includes an annular sidewall and an expanded mesh securely mounted onto a lower portion of the annular sidewall to define a containing space that has an upward opening. The annular sidewall includes an annular groove laterally defined in a lower portion of the annular sidewall and an annular flange inwardly extending from a lower edge of the annular sidewall, wherein a width of the annular flange is greater than a depth of the annular groove. An annular lip is outwardly formed on a top edge of the annular sidewall by folding. The expanded mesh has an annular edge received in the annular groove and is supported by the annular flange.
Grain Storage Bin with Aeration System
A grain storage bin includes a cylindrical wall formed by a plurality of panels arranged in rows with a bottom edge of a first row bolted to a top edge of a second lower row. At each joint the bottom edge of the first upper row is overlapped with and outside of the outer surface of top edge of the second lower row and the bottom edge is fastened to the top edge by bolts carrying spacers as to define a first channel along the joint for passage of air. A cover strip overlies the channel and extends from an upper edge of the strip at the inner surface of the first panel above the channel to a lower edge of the strip which is fastened to the top edge so as to define a second channel so that air can pass between the interior and the exterior through the first and second channels while the particulate material is prevented from escaping through the first channel by the cover strip.
A PUNCH, A SEMI-FINISHED CAN, AND A CAN MANUFACTURED WITH USE OF THE SAID PUNCH
A punch for drawing beverage cans comprising a cylindrical body with a separated region (1) forming a can side wall having diameter D1, a step (2), and a region (3) forming a thick wall, characterized in that, the region (3) forming thick wall starts from the step (2), and the diameter D2 of the punch in this region (3) is variable and is smaller than the diameter D1 of the region (1) forming can's sidewall. The object of the invention is also a beverage can in the form of a semi-finished can, and a finished beverage can manufactured with use of the said punch.
Container produced from a single-layered, helically bent sheet-metal strip
A container is produced from a single-layered, helically bent sheet-metal trip (20). A first, helically running peripheral portion (22) of the sheet-metal strip (20) is bent out in the direction of the outside of the container (10) to form a helically running bent out edge (24). A second, helically extending peripheral portion (26) of the sheet-metal strip (20) overlaps a third portion (28) of the sheet-metal strip (20) on the inside of the container (10). The third portion is adjacent to the bent-out edge (24) and extends in the direction of the second peripheral portion (26) from the bent out edge (24). The second peripheral portion (26) is connected in a fluid-tight manner to the third portion (28) of the sheet-metal strip (20) on the inside of the container (10).
WINE BARREL
The present invention relates to a barrel lid, such as a wood wine barrel lid, that inhibits and withstands warping and/or deformation. In one embodiment, the anti-warping wine barrel head comprises a plurality of adjacent slats, a plurality of staves where at least one stave disposed between each pair of adjacent slats, a plurality of grooves disposed on a top and/or bottom surface of the barrel head where each groove is oriented at an angle with respect to the plurality of slats, and a plurality of rods disposed in the plurality of top and/or bottom surface grooves where at least one rod is disposed in each of the plurality of top and/or bottom surface grooves. In some embodiments, staves are double flanged or rectangular, and rods have a half-round cross-section or triangular cross-section. In other embodiments, a gasket may span the periphery of the barrel lid, for example, along a lip thereof. In some embodiments, a locking ring is utilized to secure wine barrel lid to the container or drum.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING HIGH-STRENGTH TINPLATE AND TINPLATE PRODUCED THEREWITH
A method for producing high strength three piece steel can body and cans produced therewith.
Outsert for a metal container
A lug-type resealable beverage container is described. The lug-type resealable beverage container has a metallic containment vessel, an annular sleeve, and a metallic cap. The metallic containment vessel has a containment area for receiving a liquid. The containment vessel has a closed end separated from an open end by a tubular sidewall. The annular sleeve is joined about the containment vessel adjacent the open end and has first and second lug members extending radially outwardly. The metallic cap has first and second lug members for cooperative engagement with the first and second lug members on the sleeve. Cooperative engagement between the first and second mating lugs and the first and second lug members encloses the liquid within the containment vessel.
YARN-CARRYING AND DISPENSING APPARATUS
Described herein are embodiments of a yarn-carrying and dispensing apparatus. The embodiments described allow knitters to easily transport, carry and use balls of yarn for knitting and other knitting materials. The embodiments prevent the ball of yarn from rolling away or getting tangled or intertwined. The embodiments also easily and smoothly dispense the yarn, making the knitting more efficient and easier for the knitter. The embodiments provide additional elements to accommodate a knitter: (i) a ruler allowing, for example, to measure a knitting sampler; (ii) a needle gauge and needle openings, allowing, for example, to measure the size of a needle; and (3) an insert allowing, for example, to hold one or more balls of yarn.
