Infrared hockey puck and goal detection system
The two-part system includes a modified hockey puck and a set of goal units that can be mounted on a hockey goal. Within the puck are light sources, motion sensors, infrared transmitters, and a power source. Within the goal units are light sources, infrared sensors, and a microcontroller. When the goal units are mounted on the hockey goal, the infrared sensors form a detection area through which the puck must pass in order to count as a goal. The infrared transmitter of the puck and the infrared sensors of the goal units communicate with one another, and when an infrared signal is received the microcontroller triggers the light sources mounted to the goal to illuminate and indicate that a goal has been scored. Additionally, both the puck and the goal units are designed to reduce power consumption by switching between a low-energy mode or an active mode of operation.
Trampoline scooters
Disclosed embodiments may include a trampoline scooter device for practicing scooter tricks on a trampoline. The device may include a foam deck with an upper surface and lower surface, where the upper and lower surface both contain a recess. The recesses are designed to receive, respectively, an upper attachment member and a lower attachment member. The upper and lower attachment members and the recesses contain aligned holes to receive connectors. The connectors, or bolts, extend through both attachment members and the deck to secure the deck to the attachment members using nuts. The upper attachment member is connected to the headtube of the scooter via the neck. The headtube contains connections to the column. The column is attached to handlebars containing grips and grip ends.
BRAKING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT
Systems and methods for adjusting resistance on an exercise apparatus include a first resistance apparatus having an adjusting bracket, magnetic members mounted on an inner surface of the adjusting bracket, a stepper motor having an adjusting shaft and operable to traverse a portion of the length of the adjusting shaft. At a first position, the magnetic members are disposed above a flywheel, and in a second position, the magnetic members are disposed on opposite sides of the flywheel, providing resistance thereto. A load cell couples the adjusting bracket to the frame and generates a signal corresponding to the movement of the adjusting bracket. A computing system calculates resistance, rpms, power from load cell signal, stepper motor position, shaft rotational position and other sensor inputs.

The invention further provides a system (200) comprising such a device (20).
Method and apparatus for a street golf game
A method and an apparatus for playing golf on a hard surface comprises a replaceable striking pad attached to a conventional golf club head by means of at least one attachment means, a spiked ball, a portable ball trap to trap the spiked ball and an optional remotely controlled vehicle to position the portable ball trap. The replaceable striking pad includes a small lip at a bottom end on a front face and a holding ledge having substantially curved edges extending away from the bottom end of the front face. The holding ledge is adaptable to wrap around a bottom sole of the golf club head. The portable ball trap includes a thin flat platform with tapered edges, a central threaded pole positioned on the thin flat platform and a circular frame having a plurality of hinged tabs threaded to the central threaded pole.
Jump pit sand leveling device
A jumping pit raking assembly includes an elongated member having a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, a front side, a rear side and a bottom edge. A sand engaging member is attached to the elongated member and extends downwardly from the bottom edge. The sand engaging member engages sand such that the sand is smoothed as the sand engaging member being moved across the sand. A pair of carriages is provided and each includes an end panel having an interior side and an exterior side positioned opposite of each other. A first wheel and a second wheel each is rotatably coupled to the end panel and extends downwardly therefrom. A handle coupled to the end panel.
BLOCKCHAIN
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a transceiver coupled to a processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
Exercise machine enhancements
An exercise machine comprises a tension generating device, a translatable arm mount coupled to the tension generating device, an arm coupled to the translatable arm mount, and a cable coupled to the tension generating device via the arm.
Systems and methods for cooling internal exercise equipment components
An exercise machine may include a deck, a lift motor connected to the deck, and a cooling mechanism that cools the lift motor when the cooling mechanism is activated.
Manual treadmill
A manual treadmill for exercise of a user is disclosed. In one aspect, the manual treadmill comprises: a frame extending along a longitudinal direction and rotational shafts configured to rotate about corresponding rotational axes transverse to the longitudinal direction of the frame; and an exercise belt operatively connected to the rotational shafts, so as to form an endless closed exercise path having an upper portion configured to interact with the user and a lower portion facing a reference plane. The upper portion has a set curved side profile along the longitudinal direction of the frame so that a force generated by the user on the exercise belt produces rotation of the rotational shafts and the exercise belt.
