EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine may include a frame, a resistance mechanism supported by the frame, first and second pull cables supported by the frame and linked to the resistance mechanism, a power rack attached to the frame, first and second handles selectively attachable to the first and second pull cable, and first and second pulleys. The power rack includes upright posts configured to have barbell holders adjustably attached thereto such that the barbell holders are configured to be adjusted in various positions between highest positions and lowest positions on the upright posts. The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cableand free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.
Pressure sensor to quantify work
A monitoring system includes a shoe and a sole integrated into the shoe. The monitoring system also includes a connection mechanism attached to an underside of the sole and is shaped to connect the sole to a pedal. A pressure sensor is incorporated into the shoe that senses a force exerted on the pedal when the shoe is connected to the pedal through the connection mechanism.
Treadmill having sensors
A treadmill may include two separate left and right belts rotating around two sets of rollers, four legs having an adjustable height via air suspension to customize an inclination of the treadmill, a thermoelectric assembly, a fragrance assembly having a rotating fragrance cartridge to emit various smells toward a user of the treadmill, a display on which exercise programs are played, and an attachment module having a dispensing tray on which treats are dispensed. A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.
System to determine and dictate individual exercise thresholds to maximize desired neurological response
A system to determine and dictate individual exercise thresholds to maximize desired neurological responses.
Wireless electronic table game scoreboard
A method of operating an electronic basketball scoreboard apparatus is disclosed. The method includes receiving a game parameter; operating a basketball game based upon the received game parameter; receiving a first indication of a ball passing through a first basketball hoop; receiving a second indication of a ball passing through a second basketball hoop; determining a first score of the basketball game based on the first indication from the first score sensor; determining a second score of the basketball game based on the second indication from the second score sensor; recording video of the basketball game; transmitting the recorded video; and transmitting the first score and the second score.
Control system for regulation balls in a football field and regulation ball support for same
A control system for regulation balls in a football field and regulation ball support for same is provided. The system has ball supports arranged in a football field, a central control unit and a portable electronic device. Each ball support has presence sensors for detecting a football in a supporting base and data processing means for wirelessly communicating information from the presence sensors to the central control unit. The central control unit monitors the presence of footballs in each ball support and repeatedly sends, wirelessly, the results from the monitoring to the portable electronic device, which graphically shows on a screen the presence or absence of footballs in the corresponding ball supports.
Exercise machine with pancake motor
An exercise machine is disclosed. The exercise machine comprises a pancake motor. The exercise machine comprises a torque controller coupled to the pancake motor. The exercise machine comprises a high resolution encoder coupled to the pancake motor.
System for planning, managing, and analyzing sports teams and events
A system for planning, managing, and analyzing sports teams and events. The system may include a content management function for storing data. The data can pertain to a plurality of sports-related statistics and a variety of identifying data. The system and method can also include an event management function for planning and evaluating sports-related events such as practices and games. The system and method can also include a report function which can provide a variety of statistical analyses.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for displaying archived exercise classes comprising displaying information about archived exercise classes that can be accessed by a first user via a computer network on a display screen at a first location, wherein the first user can select among a plurality of archived classes, outputting digital video and audio content comprising the selected archived class, detecting a performance parameter for the first user at a particular point in the selected class, displaying the performance parameter on the display screen, and displaying performance parameters from a second user at a second location on the display screen such that at least one of the performance parameters from the first user and at least one of the performance parameters from the second user at the same point in the class are presented for comparison.
Computer-implemented questionnaire for orthopedic treatment
A system for physical rehabilitation comprises a clinician interface including a patient profile display presenting data regarding performance of a regimen for a body part. A patient interface presents instructions and status information regarding the performance of the regimen. The patient interface further presents a questionnaire soliciting responses to questions pertaining to current and past physical conditions of the patient. Selected responses to the questions cause the system to take actions, including preventing operation of a treatment apparatus by the patient, and/or transmitting an alert message to a clinician. The alert message may be transmitted within the clinician interface and/or as a real-time message outside of the clinician interface. A questionnaire is presented to the patient in response to occurrence of a triggering event pertaining to the patient's use of the treatment apparatus.
