Set of preforms for making a container, container and method
A set of preforms to make a container for beverages, comprising an external preform and an internal preform, each intended to form respectively an external keg and an internal bag of the container. The internal preform is associated internally with the external preform in order to define with the external preform a hollow space. The external preform and the internal preform have respective coupling members suitable to clamp the external preform and the internal preform with respect to each other in a desired reciprocal position.
SYSTEM AND COMPONENTS FOR RECEIVING, STORING, AND DISPENSING FLUIDS
A container has a top and a bottom endcap, a bottle sandwiched therebetween, and one or more bands coupling the top and bottom endcaps and the bottle. The bottle receives therein a flexible bladder. At least one of the top and bottom endcaps has a pair of opposing parallel surfaces, one of which has a protrusion extending therefrom and the other one of which has a recess therein at a location corresponding to that of the protrusion. A valving structure demountably engages with a neck portion of the bottle and has (i) a coupling valve assembly having two channels in fluid communication with the bottle and the bladder for injecting gas thereinto and dispensing liquid therefrom, respectively, and (ii) a twist-lock casing receiving therein the coupling valve assembly and removably coupled to the bottle's neck portion. The twist-lock casing has a structure for safely depressurizing the bottle.
CONTAINERS FOR HOLDING MATERIALS
A container includes: a skeleton shell defining a container body of the container, the skeleton shell being formed from a recycled and/or biodegradable pulp material; and, a bag or liner removably disposed within the skeleton shell. Wherein the skeleton shell includes at least one separation feature that facilitates separation of the skeleton shell from the bag or liner.
Keg chime
The present invention relates to a keg chime configured to be mounted to a keg, for example a blow moulded plastic keg. The chime may include a handle that has a waveform profile when viewed in cross-section along a length of the handle. The handle may include a first set of one or more regions of inflection that provide a first surface of the handle and a second set of one or more regions of inflection that provide an opposing second surface of the handle. The chime may be configured to be connected to a sleeve for surrounding at least part of a body portion of the keg. The interface between the chime and the sleeve may be configured to permit axially outward movement of the chime with respect to the sleeve in order to accommodate axial expansion of the keg.
Method of installing self-drilling, self-tapping bone screw for bicortical purchase
A self-drilling, self-tapping bone screw is described in which the bone screw has a drill tip free of threads and having a length at least as great as about the thickness of a proximal cortical bone layer, with the drill tip having opposed lands and a helical flute between each of the lands with each of the lands having a cutting edge configured to cut bone as the drill tip is rotated into the bone with the flutes conveying the bone debris away from the drill tip, where a lead thread begins to self-tap internal threads in the proximal cortical bone layer after the drill tip has drilled through the proximal cortical bone layer so as to avoid stripping the threads formed in the bone layer. A method of installation is also disclosed.
Cylindrical vessel for low pressure storage of perishable goods fabricated from neat or reinforced plastics
A vacuum container for containing perishable items in controlled, reduced pressure, atmospheric conditions is provided. The vacuum container includes a section of generally cylindrical pipe open at both ends and formed of a plastic material. A first end cap is detachably secured to one end of the pipe to form a vacuum resistant seal between the first end cap and the pipe. A second end cap detachably secured to the other end of the pipe to form a vacuum resistant seal between the second end cap and the other end of the pipe. Preferably, the pipe and end caps are all formed of a plastic material capable of withstanding the pressures created when a high vacuum is formed in the chamber.
CONTAINER FOR LIQUIDS
The invention relates to a container (1) for liquids such as beverages and oils comprising a blow moulded polyester casing (2), a valve (4) for dispensing the liquid from the container and an inlet for introducing a propellant. The casing (2) is enveloped by an stretch blow moulded polyester shell (9).
Container for liquids
A container for liquids, such as beverages and oils, may include a blow moulded polyester casing, a valve for dispensing the liquid from the container, and an inlet for introducing a propellant. The casing may be enveloped by a stretch blow moulded polyester shell.
Double-layer keg
A double-layer keg comprises an outer barrel and an inner barrel made of plastic disposed in the outer barrel. A bottom of the outer barrel is fixed with a base, and a lower portion of the outer barrel has a brace for supporting a bottom periphery of the inner barrel. A spear structure is installed at a barrel opening of the inner barrel, and an upper portion of the inner barrel has a shoulder and a neck disposed around the barrel opening. An inner surface of an upper portion of the outer barrel is pressed against an outer surface of the shoulder and/or the neck of the inner barrel. An expansion space, provided for the bottom of the inner barrel to expand downward, is disposed between a portion of the bottom of the inner barrel located at an inner side of the brace and the base.
