The present disclosure provides a container with an increased movable range of an upper wall with respect to a side wall. According to the present disclosure provided is a container including a side wall, an upper hinge member, and an upper wall, wherein the upper hinge member and the side wall are connected rotatably around a first rotation axis, the upper hinge member and the upper wall are connected rotatably around a second rotation axis, and the first and second rotation axes are parallel.

The end walls are pivotable between an upright position extending from the upper frame to the base between the side walls and a retracted position within the upper frame. An organizational bin formed from molded foam and capable of being folded flat into a planar configuration for transportation and unfolded to provide a useful volume for use by a consumer. The bin has a base and four walls, all of which are integrally formed and coupled to each other by living hinges. The base includes a series of living hinges extending outwardly from a midpoint. The living hinges are positioned to allow base to fold outwardly relative to with walls pivoting relative to each other so that bin folds into a flat configuration. A flat folded bin will reduce shipping costs by more than five times by reducing the volume bin occupies when shipped and also significantly reduces the carbon footprint of shipping the bin.

A pair of opposed sides extend upwardly from the base at base corners perpendicular to the spine, each having a vertical fold aligned with the spine. A pair of opposed sides extend upwardly from edges of the base at base corners parallel to the spine. Adjacent sides are connected at side corners. At least two side corners include sprung hinges. Both sides of one of the pairs of opposed sides having diagonal folds. The box has a collapsed configuration where both pairs of opposed sides are folded down to be parallel to the base, the base is folded along the spine and vertical folds, and a fastener secures the box in the collapsed configuration, and a deployed configuration where the fastener is released and the sprung hinges deploy the sides and base.

In the folded configuration, the first side wall (104h) lies between the base (104a) and the second side wall (104b) and the second flexible hinge member (108) is longer than the first flexible hinge member (108) so as to accommodate the first side wall (104h) between the base (104a) and the second side wall (104b).

Disclosed are various embodiments of a collapsible containment bag configured to retain a collection of hazardous materials. In one embodiment, the containment bag includes a non-porous liner, a plastic sheeting, and a bag frame. The containment bag may be in a collapsed state initially and later expand for use at the site of an environmental spill. The containment bag may be expanded from the collapsed state through a series of actions that may include pivoting a portion of the containment bag about an edge and pulling opposing sides of the containment bag away from the center of the containment bag.

A cargo organizer includes a base, a storage compartment supported by the base and a deployment system for the storage compartment. The storage compartment includes a plurality of wall panels each having a hinged connection with the base and pivotable about its hinged connection between a stowed orientation and an upright orientation. The storage compartment is selectively deployable between a collapsed condition and an open condition. In the collapsed condition, each wall panel is lowered to its stowed orientation while, in the open condition, each wall panel is raised to its upright orientation. In the collapsed condition, the wall panels include an underlying wall panel and two adjacent overlying wall panels in spaced opposition about the underlying wall panel. The deployment system includes a strap system that connects an inboard portion of the underlying wall panel to respective outboard portions of the two adjacent overlying wall panels.

The method includes the steps of forming rounded edge seals on the perimeter edges of the blank, pre-sealing portions of the blank to form a plurality of areas in which major and minor flap slots and a glue tab are desired, ultrasonically scoring the blank to form a plurality of flap score lines, and cutting the blank through the plurality of pre-sealed flap slots and glue tab, leaving a sealed edge.
