Lung exercise apparatus and method
A lung exercise apparatus and method with an enclosure, with an inside, an outside and an open top, configured to hold a liquid of a first density. An additive to the liquid that increases the first density such that a person in the liquid is more buoyant. Weight removably connectable with the person such that a person in the enclosure is held vertical in the enclosure and partially immersed in the liquid below a surface of the liquid and with some of a person's body above the surface of the liquid. And a harness that is removably connectable with the person to hold some of the person's body above the surface of the liquid where lungs in a person's body are below the surface of the liquid.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REPOSITIONABLE MINIMALLY INTRUSIVE DISPLAYS
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a battery system configured to provide power for the MIDS, a display system, and a processor communicatively coupled to the display system and configured to display information to an eye of a wearer of the eyewear via the display system. The display system is disposed inside a space bounded by a first vertical line that bisects the eyewear and a right line or a left line that extends no more than 40 mm from the first vertical line.
Aquatic Exercise Apparatus and Method of Aquatic Exercising for Improving Mobility
Proposed are an aquatic exercise apparatus and a method for exercising aimed at improving mobility of a user by exercising in water. The apparatus consists of base support and a balance board, which is connected to the base support via a resilient body that allows tilting of the balance board in any direction and a mechanism that provides free rotation of the balance board. Exercising in water allow people with mobility deficits to perform exercises without a fear of falling, decreasing pain, and improving cardiovascular return.
TRAINING BAG COMPRISING ADJUSTABLE WEIGHTS, DRAGGING SURFACE, WEIGHTED BAG AND COMPONENTS FOR PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES
This disclosure describes a training bag apparatus including weights of the apparatus, one or more fixed and removable components. The training bag is adaptable for exercises wherein one or more fixed and removable elements is utilized as a slam bag, sled, backpack, weighted vest with adjustable internal weights to utilize individually or as an entire training system. The fixed and removable elements comprise of grips, adjustable straps, draggable surface, backpack straps, harness, connecting straps, adjustable internal straps with internal filler weights to use individually and/or as a complete set.
Golf system
A golf system comprising a reconfigurable golf green having a hole for receiving a golf ball, wherein the reconfigurable golf green includes a plurality of movable golf green sections (e.g. wherein the movable golf green sections are provided in a reconfigurable array).
Systems and methods for climbing
Systems and methods for providing climbing walls are discussed. While such systems and methods can include any suitable component, in some cases, they include a climbing wall that has a base member and a climbing surface that includes at least one climbing hold. In some cases, the climbing surface is pivotally connected to the base member. Additionally, in some cases, the system includes an anchor that is configured to adjustably retain the climbing surface at an angle with respect to the base member. In some cases, the system further includes a camera, microphone, and/or display that are configured to allow a climber to have audio and/or visual interactions with another person in a remote location (e.g., for training, competition, etc.). In some cases, at least one climbing hold on the climbing surface comprises a sensor that is configured to indicate when a climber has used that hold. Other implementations are described.
Tethered resistance swim training apparatus
An aquatic exercise apparatus for applying a resistive force to an exercising swimmer, the apparatus includes a bracket mounted to a vertically oriented surface located above a pool of water, a container, an operational assembly comprising at least one upper pulley attached to the bracket and at least one lower pulley attached to the container, a cord passing through the at least one upper pulley and the at least one lower pulley, and a fastener configured to attach to an exercising swimmer, where the fastener is attached to a free end of the cord, and where pulling the free end of the cord moves the container upward against gravity.
ATHLETIC TIMING DEVICE
A timing device is provided herein. The timing device includes a housing defining an aperture. An elongated member is extendable from the housing through the aperture. A reel assembly includes a spool rotatable about a spool axle. A portion of the elongated member is wound about the spool. An encoder assembly includes a first wheel and an encoder operably coupled with the first wheel. The encoder is configured to detect a rotational velocity of the first wheel. A controller is configured to calculate a linear velocity of the elongated member based on the rotational velocity of the first wheel, wherein the elongated member is configured to move with the swimmer as the swimmer moves away from the housing.
DYNAMIC MOTION RESISTANCE MODULE
A modular and dynamic force apparatus for adjusting standard and dynamic torque-to-linear forces during physical activity in real-time, the apparatus including a force module, a user device and an apparatus tracking processing unit. The force module includes an open hub attachment point, wherein the open hub attaches the apparatus to an external source, one or more sensors measuring data for physical activity efficiency, an internal processor, wireless radio and force sensor module, a variable length cable, a force generating component, and motor controls. The internal processor, wireless radio and force sensor module includes an apparatus tracking measurement unit (“ATMU”) adapted to measure data, a first electronic communications channel for transmitting the measured data to an apparatus tracking processing unit (“ATPU”), and a second electronic communications channel for transmitting one or more apparatus conditions data to adjust dynamic forces. The user device receives one or more apparatus conditions data over the second electronic communications channel for real-time notification and/or adjustments to the user. The user interface includes a display that provides feedback and an apparatus tracking processing unit (“ATPU”). The ATPU includes the first electronic communications channel for receiving the measured data from the ATMU, a microprocessor, a memory storage area, a database stored in the memory storage area, and a tracking processing module located in the memory storage are. The database stores a first set of evaluation rules and a second set of evaluation rules, the first set of evaluation rules corresponding to one or more tracking parameters, and the second set of evaluation rules corresponding to the one or more apparatus conditions. The tracking processing includes program instructions that, when executed by the microprocessor, causes the microprocessor to determine the one or more tracking parameters using the measured data and the first set of evaluation rules, and determine the one or more apparatus conditions data using the one or more tracking parameters and the second set of evaluation rules.
