PRESERVING CAN WITH A LIQUID DRAINAGE OPENING
A preserving can including a tubular body having two opposite ends closed respectively by a lower lid and an upper lid, the upper lid having a removable upper part having a surface area at least greater than 90% of a surface area of the upper lid in order to be able to empty food from the can, and the lower lid having a removable lower part delimited by a lower rupture starter line and provided with a lower opening member, the removable lower part having at least one long and linear main section having a width with a value of less than or equal to 3 millimetres and a length having a value of greater than or equal to 10 millimetres, in order to be able to drain a liquid juice from the can prior to emptying food therefrom.

Tamper evident food container with accordiated pull tab
A plastic container capable of assuming a loading state, an initially sealed state and an opened state comprises a lid including a lid rim and a base having a base rim. The lid rim sealingly engages with the base rim. A projecting portion has an accordiated section and a pull tab that projects outwardly from the lid. The accordiated section has at least one pleat. The projecting portion includes a frangible bridge. When the plastic food container is in the initially sealed state, the accordiated section has a first length and a first orientation relative to the projecting portion. When the container is in the initially sealed state and a first pulling force is applied to the pull tab, the frangible bridge ruptures. When the frangible bridge ruptures and before the lid is separated from the base, the container is in a tab-employed state in which the accordiated section springs outward and has a second length visibly longer than the first length.
PULL-TAB AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE PULL-TAB
The invention relates to the technical field of pull-tabs that are used in the packaging industry for application to lids. The problem to be solved by the invention is to provide a pull-tab 1 that is producible at reduced costs while having a sufficient mechanical strength for its purpose. A pull-tab achieving this is configured to be attached to a lid of a container. The pull-tab has a grip portion 10 and a front portion 20, and the pull-tab is formed from a portion of a sheet of metals, the sheet having a thickness. The grip portion has a hole 11. The hole is at least partially surrounded by a gripping edge 12 of the grip portion. The grip portion is adjacent to the front portion 20 of the pull-tab along a length axis L thereof. The front portion of the pull-tab is mechanically reinforced by a reinforcing layer 25, made from the sheet of metal.
REVERSE PRESSURE CAN END
A can end includes a center panel, an annular portion disposed about the center panel, a chuck wall disposed about the annular portion, a curl extending radially outwardly from the chuck wall, the annular portion including a subsurface step.
REVERSE PRESSURE CAN END
A can end includes a center panel, an annular portion disposed about the center panel, a chuck wall disposed about the annular portion, a curl extending radially outwardly from the chuck wall, the annular portion including a subsurface step.
Opening device and method for manufacturing the same, and a packaging material provided with said opening device
An opening device for a packaging container, the packaging container being formed from a packaging material having an upper side constituting the outside of the packaging container and a lower side constituting the inside of the container, the opening device including two operational parts, a preformed support part arranged on the upper side of the packaging material and a membrane part arranged on the lower side of the container and extending into openings of the support part such as to mechanically connect the two parts, and wherein the materials of the membrane part and the support part are thermally incompatible polymer materials.
Tab with reinforced rivet hole, and tooling and associated method for providing same
A tab is provided, which includes a body having first and second opposing ends, a nose portion disposed at or about the first end of the body, a lift portion disposed at or about the second end of the body of the tab, and a rivet receiving portion disposed proximate the nose portion. The rivet receiving portion includes a generally planar portion, a rivet hole having a perimeter, and an upturned portion extending upwardly from the generally planar portion about the perimeter of the rivet hole. The upturned portion reinforces the rivet hole and has an arcuate cross section profile. An integral rivet extends through the rivet hole and is staked to affix the tab to a can end. The upturned portion is devoid of any corners or edges both before and after the integral rivet is staked.
Tamper evident container
A tamper evident closure includes a first snap, a second snap, a tear strip connected to the second snap, and a first projection extending around three sides of the first snap. In a closed position, the second snap is positioned in a cavity of the first snap, and the first projection surrounds three sides of the second snap that is positioned in the cavity of the first snap.
CAN LID
A can lid that enables a tab to be easily pulled up. A tab has a leading end positioned inside a predetermined opening area bordered by a score and a rear end positioned on an opposite side to the leading end relative to a portion where the tab is fixed to a lid body, and a sliding member is provided which is configured to slide in a state where a part thereof penetrates into a gap between the lid body and the tab, the sliding member having an insertion section which is configured to move the rear end of the tab in a direction away from a surface of the lid body when the sliding member is caused to slide from an initial position.
