FITNESS DEVICE FOR EXERCISE AND BALANCE DEVELOPMENT
A fitness device is provided, the fitness device comprising: a spheroidal member having an interior cavity, the spheroidal member comprising a cylindrical portion extending between a first hemispherical endcap and a second hemispherical endcap, wherein a surface of the spheroidal member defines an aperture positioned between the interior cavity and an exterior of the elastomeric member; and a structured surface positioned on the surface of the spheroidal member over the aperture, the structured surface extending into the interior cavity of the spheroidal member.
REDUCING BRAIN INJURY BY LIMITING BRAIN MOTION DURING SUDDEN DECELERATION OR ACCELERATION OF THE HEAD
A brain injury reduction system provides a protective measure that temporarily or decreases venous drainage out of the intracranial compartment during or immediately before and during a sudden change in acceleration of an individual's head. Specifically, a wearable helmet or other wearable structure of the brain injury reduction system detects an impending collision and determines whether a protective measure is needed. If so, one or more actuation devices provides the protective measure to reduce venous drainage through one or both of the internal jugular veins or paravertebral venous plexus. A first actuation device stimulates a gag reflex or valsalva-like maneuver to reduce venous drainage through the paravertebral venous plexus. A second actuation device can physically compress the internal jugular veins. Thus, the brain injury reduction system minimizes the detrimental impact that may occur due to the sudden change in acceleration of the individual's head
SWIM AID WITH ADJUSTABLE ARMBANDS
A swim aid comprising a torso flotation pad, an attachment member, a right armband flotation pad and a left armband flotation pad. The right armband flotation pad is operatively connected to the torso flotation pad and includes an opening for receiving the right arm of a wearer. The left armband flotation pad is also operatively connected to the torso flotation pad and includes an opening for receiving the left arm of a wearer. At least one of the right or left armband flotation pads includes elastic material for expanding and compressing the armband flotation pads on the wearer's arm, reducing the need for buckles or straps.
CORE BLADDER AND ASSEMBLY INCLUDING THE SAME
A core bladder is disclosed. The core bladder a body, a skeletal load-support matrix, and a valve. The body defines a fluid-receiving cavity. The skeletal load-support matrix is disposed within the fluid-receiving cavity. The valve is supported by the body. The valve is configured to permit fluid communication with the fluid-receiving cavity to selectively arrange the body in one of a compact deflated state and an expanded inflated state. An exercise assembly including the core bladder is also disclosed.
Sports training device
Innovative apparatuses and methods for a novel training device is provided that includes a base, a frame, a material attached to the frame, wherein the material comprises a non-solid material; and an image affixed to a first side of the non-solid material, wherein the image is viewable on the first side of the non-solid material and viewable on a second side of the non-solid material.
Golf bag with collapsable pocket assembly
Described herein is a golf bag with a collapsible pocket assembly. The golf bag can comprise a first pocket, a second pocket, and a third pocket, wherein the third pocket comprises a wall. The third pocket wall can comprise a first region and a second region, wherein the first region of the third pocket wall is the same wall as at least one of the sidewalls of the second pocket. When shipping golf bags, the golf bag flats oftentimes must be shipped separately from the golf bag tops. The instant golf bag can be collapsed for shipping, allowing the golf bag tops to be partially installed onto the golf bag flats prior to shipping, reducing shipping and assembly labor costs.
FOOT EXERCISING APPARATUS
An apparatus for foot exercise for strengthening at least the ankle and muscles around the ankle. The apparatus includes a housing having a cutout in a top wall thereof for allowing a foot of a user to pass through. A sleeve of a socks shape, hangs from the cutout, and the sleeve can receive at least the foot up to the ankle of the user. Multiple inflatable bags are disposed within the housing and around the sleeve, such that the inflatable bags, when inflated, resist movement of the foot received within the sleeve. The user can insert the foot into the sleeve; upon inserting the foot, inflates the plurality of inflatable bags; and upon inflating, moves the foot against the resistance offered by the inflated plurality of inflatable bags.
Devices and methods for exercising an ankle, foot, and/or leg
An exercise device includes a foot support portion pivotably connected to a leg support portion and having a neutral position relative to a pivot axis. The support portion is configured to rotate about the neutral pivot axis in a first direction away from the neutral position and in a second direction away from the neutral position. The second direction is opposite the first direction. The exercise device also includes a resistance mechanism configured to exert a force on the foot support portion about the pivot axis opposite to the respective first and second directions of rotation of the foot support portion about the pivot axis.
Exercise device
An exercise device having a unique asymmetrical shape with rounded ends of differing radii to provide stability and added resistance.
Open field game arrangement including glowing and responsive targets
An open field game arrangement includes glowing targets and provides responses, such as lights and sounds, when the targets are hit.
