PROTECTIVE LINING THAT CAN BE COUPLED TO THE INNER SURFACE OF A HELMET, HELMET COMPRISING SAID LINING AND USE THEREOF IN ORDER TO REDUCE ROTATIONAL ACCELERATION TRANSMITTED TO A USER
A protective liner, attachable to the inner surface of a helmet, comprising an inner face and an outer face oriented towards the inner surface of the helmet, wherein the joining of faces gives rise to a plurality of inflatable chambers permeable to water vapour and connected by means of pressurised air distribution channels. The chambers and channels form a single body extending at least along the inner surface of the helmet above the Frankfurt plane. The outer face comprises a layer of rigid material while the inner face comprises a layer of elastic material, whose area expands when the chambers are filled with air, such that the expansion in volume occurs mainly by means of the deformation of the elastic layer.
INFLATABLE SWIMWEAR
An inflatable swimwear product is disclosed including a main body, a left armlet coupled to the main body, and a right armlet coupled to the main body. The inflatable swimwear product may buoyantly support a user's upper body in water and permit the user's lower body to sink in water, thereby allowing the user to safely practice swimming.
Exercise ring for improving strength and flexibility of a body part
The present invention provides an apparatus and method for exercising a body part from any angle with variable resistance while taking up minimal floor space. The apparatus improves the ability of athletes, including football players and wrestlers, to better prepare for contact from any angle while engaged in their sport. The apparatus includes a ring having a guide track therein. A first end of a resistive band may be received by and wrapped around the guide track while encompassing a source of resistance at another end. The source of resistance may be other gym equipment including a pulley. Alternatively, the guide track may be on an inner surface of a stationary outer ring configured to receive a bearing disposed on an outer surface of a rotatable inner ring. The inner ring may include an inflatable bladder disposed along its inside to provide a perfect fit.
WATER BALL HOOP
A goal configured to both float and be used on water is disclosed. The goal comprises a base, a support structure, and a planar element. The base includes a top surface defining a base plane. The support structure has a pair of opposing arm portions coupled to the base. The planar element is coupled to and extends between the pair of opposing arms of the support structure, is disposed generally perpendicular to the base plane, and defines at least one generally circular main aperture.
Protective rowing device
A protective rowing device for compression of the abdomen is provided that comprises a brace and U-shaped support member that may connect to a rowing machine seat and rail.
PROVIDING BREATHING GUIDANCE TO AN INDIVIDUAL
A mechanism for guiding the length of a plurality of different segments of a plurality of breathing cycles. A recorded length of each of the plurality of segments in a sample breathing cycle is obtained. The recorded length of each segment is used, together with a sample breathing rate and a desired breathing rate, to define a target length of each segment in each of a plurality of breathing cycles. Each target length is proportional to the corresponding recorded length.
INFLATABLE SPORTS NET
Provided is an inflatable sports net (10) comprising an archway (12) comprised of a plurality of geodesic polyhedra (14) comprised of inflatable beams (16) arranged in unitary fluid communication. The polyhedra (14) are arranged so that some beams complementarily form a continuous archway beam (18). Also included is an inflatable arcuate base beam (20) extending unilaterally from said archway beam (18) and via which a plurality of panel beams (22) is interconnected to the archway (12) to form at least one polygonal panel (24) between the base beam (20) and geodesic polyhedra (14) to define a substantially half-dome structure (26) supported by said archway and base beams (18) and (20) when inflated. A foraminous mesh (28) is suspended between suitable beams (16) and (22) to form a ball arresting surface along said half-dome structure (26).
Weightlifting water bag
A weightlifting water bag is provided, including a bag body. The bag body includes an outer bag and an inner bag. The inner bag is provided inside the outer bag, an end of the inner bag is fixed to an inner wall of the outer bag, the inner bag divides an internal space of the outer bag to form an gas chamber and a water chamber, and an end face of the outer bag is provided with a water injection port and an inflation port, the water injection port is in communication with the water chamber, and the inflation port is in communication with the gas chamber.
DAP platform, integrated lifts, system and related devices and methods
A support platform for retaining a DAP system inflatable enclosure is provided that includes a top cover including a support surface defining a truncated access opening, a bottom cover including a panel, and a plurality of side covers each including a panel, in which the top, bottom and side covers are connected to form an airtight platform defining an interior for retaining an exercise device. A base opening of the enclosure can be secured at a perimeter region of the access opening above the exercise device. The platform further includes an exercise device upper interface for securing the support surface to an upper region of the exercise device, a lower interface for securing a lower region of the exercise device to the bottom cover or ground, and a blower interface for forming an airtight connection with a blower. The truncated access opening limits pneumatic forces secured by the exercise device.
Mount Assembly For Balance Trainer
A mount assembly for coupling a fitness device to a workout surface includes an adapter having a vertical body portion extending between first and second ends thereof, the adapter including a plurality of leg portions extending horizontally therefrom and a recess therein extending from the first end toward the second end; a mount having a planar horizontal portion, an attachment surface, and a vertical portion perpendicular to the attachment surface, and a bore extending through both the attachment surface and the vertical portion along a central axis, the vertical portion of the mount configured to be slidingly received in the recess of the adapter; and a resilient member configured to be received in the bore of the mount and to push the adapter and mount along the central axis in a first direction.
