SWIMMING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS
Provided is a swimming assistance apparatus, which is worn on a user's both feet to provide the user with buoyancy, such that the user can float on water and swim in a good swimming style while repeatedly moving the waist from side to side like a fish, thereby reinforcing the user's waist muscles. Persons who have knee joint arthralgia or backache or persons who have disability in the lower body can use the swimming assistance apparatus for medical purposes, such as pain relief or treatment.
Person support apparatuses having exercise therapy features
Person support apparatuses having exercise features are disclosed herein. In various embodiments, a person support apparatus includes a support surface, a footboard, a sensor, and a passive resistance mechanism. The support surface has a foot end and a head end, and the footboard is located near the foot end of the support surface, extending above the support surface. The footboard may include a pressure surface positioned to receive a pressing force. The footboard is freely slidable from an extended position to a retracted position with respect to the foot end of the support surface. The sensor provides a signal indicative of a magnitude of the pressing force incident on the pressure surface of the footboard. The passive resistance mechanism is coupled to the footboard, and resists a motion of the footboard to the extended position.
STANDING SURFACE TO ENCOURAGE MOVEMENT
A shaped standing mat or base providing a trampoline-like rebounding surface that is a highly responsive and dynamic support surface for a standing person where that person is able to maintain a proper stance relative to their foot angle, and to engage in mild exercise movement and foot rotation and stretching without undue interruption of mental concentration in a work or other environment.
Trampoline enclosure and pad system
A trampoline comprising a trampoline frame having legs. The trampoline frame has a trampoline frame horizontal portion. A trampoline bed is suspended across the trampoline frame horizontal portion. Springs extend between the trampoline frame and trampoline bed. An enclosure is connected to the trampoline frame. The enclosure has an enclosure upper support. The enclosure supports an enclosure net. A pad system covers the springs. The pad system includes a wall pad extending upwardly from the springs and terminating at a pad system apex. The pad system further includes a buttress pad connected to the pad system apex at an apex angle from the wall pad, which is defined as an angle between a wall pad outside surface and the buttress pad. The buttress pad extends downwardly to cover at least partially the trampoline frame horizontal portion.
Mobile device which simulates player motion
A mobile device and system which simulates human motion. The device includes a base with a drive system for providing motion to the device. A receiver is provided which controls the drive system the receiver receives wireless control signals. Pads and a self-stabilizing component are provided on the device. The device accurately mimics the unpredictable motion of a human motion to provide a safer alternative to live interaction to increase participant safety and decrease the incidence of injuries during practice or drill sessions. The system includes at least one mobile device. The mobile device includes: a base having a drive system for providing motion to the device; a receiver which controls the drive system the receiver receives wireless control signals; and self-stabilizing component provided on the device. The system also includes a transmitter for transmitting the control signals to the receiver.
BALANCE EXERCISE DEVICE
A multi-purpose balance exercise device designed to be used in multiple positions and for diverse exercises. For example, various embodiments allow for the multipurpose device to be use as an aerobic step device as well as the ability to easily adjust the device to various heights to easily decrease the level of difficulty of the device for use during various exercises. The balance exercise device can provide a polarity of handles and grab points both horizontally and vertically, which allow for an enhanced number of exercises or movements using either the top and/or bottom of the device. The balance exercise device includes a flexible bladder filled with air, other gases, or gels attached to a substantially rigid base. The base can include an interior within which features such as handles are disposed to provide a gripping or lifting exercise to which the balance exercise device can be used.
Balance Training System and Related Techniques
A balance training system and related techniques are disclosed. In accordance with some embodiments, the system includes a middle portion, a first end portion disposed to a first side of the middle portion, a second end portion disposed to a second side of the middle portion, opposite the first end portion, and a centrally disposed balance point about which the system can rotate parallel to a plane of an underlying surface. A user may posture over a top surface of the system, distal to the underlying surface. In accordance with some embodiments, the system is configured to permit rotation at least 360 in either direction about the centrally disposed balance point and to permit the user to engage in a twisting motion such that the balance training system rotates about the centrally disposed balance point parallel to the plane of the underlying surface.
RESILIENT EXERCISE ARTICLE
A resilient exercise article includes an outer surface defining an interior chamber. The article comprises outward being one of a spherical shape, an ovoid shape or a double ovoid shape, at least one circumferential groove defined in the outer surface, and a bore extending axially through the article.
Adjustable, Astable Seat for Increasing the Use of a User's Core Muscles While Exercising
A seating device for increasing use of a user's core muscles includes an adjustable air-filled bladder having generally flat top and bottom surfaces, and a significantly stiffer but resilient foam cover that fits over and matingly engages to the bladder. The cover is contoured, having both a central groove or recess that partially receives and accommodate male genitalia, and a raised ridge toward the front of the device to help keep the user properly positioned on the cover. The fluid-filled bladder is astable or wobbly, requiring the user to use his core muscles to maintain an upright, seated position, while the cover provides a comfortable contoured seat. The device can be used with an exercise device in which the user sits on the device, including on an abdominal exercise device, thus increasing both the abdomen strengthening action of the exercise as well as providing increased comfort for the user.
TRANSPORTABLE INFLATABLE SURFING APPARATUS AND METHOD
A system, apparatus, and method for transporting an amusement attraction, such as an inflatable surfing attraction. A shipping container may be provided that is modifiable (e.g., has removable or rotatable elements such that it may be converted from a transporting orientation for containing one or more components of the attraction within for shipment to a deployed orientation whereby one or more of its elements may be used for setup and/or operation of the attraction. The attraction may incorporate an automatic inflating system that monitors pressure or other characteristics during setup.
