CAN END TEAR PANEL WITH DECORATIVE RELIEF FEATURES
20170043903 · 2017-02-16 ·

An ecology stay-on tab beverage can end has a center panel having a public side and an opposing product side. The center panel has a displaceable tear panel defined by a frangible score groove and a non-frangible hinge portion of the center panel located between a first end and a second end of the frangible score which retains the displaceable tear panel to the center panel subsequent to opening. The displaceable tear panel has a symbol thereon. The symbol conveys information to a user and is formed by a relief feature on the tear panel. The symbol and the relief feature are spaced at least 0.050 inches radially inwardly of the frangible score groove such that no portion of the symbol and the relief feature are closer than 0.050 inches to the frangible score.

BEVERAGE CAN END FRANGIBLE SCORE GEOMETRY

An ecology stay-on tab beverage can end has a first axis extending though a rivet. A tear panel is defined by a frangible score and a non-frangible hinge that joins a first end of the frangible score with a second end of the frangible score. The first axis forms a line of asymmetry of the tear panel. A second axis intersects the first axis at a right angle. An intersection of the first axis with the second axis defines a center point of a clock-like reference having a 12 o'clock position at the first point and a 6 o'clock position at the second point. A first radius of curvature of the frangible score between a 5 o'clock position and a 7 o'clock position is at least 3.6 times larger than a second radius of curvature between a 7 o'clock position and a 9 o'clock position.

Can end with reinforcing bead

A can end for a two-piece beverage can is described. The can end has a center panel positioned about a vertical center axis. The center panel has a means for opening the can end located on a public side. A circumferential strengthening member is located about the center panel. A wall extends upwardly from the circumferential strengthening member. A curl is joined to an upper end of the wall. The curl defines an outer perimeter of the can end. A reinforcing bead is located on the wall between an uppermost portion of the wall and a lowermost portion of the wall.

RECYCLABLE CONTAINER MODULAR DISPENSING SYSTEM

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a can end having guidance features to automatically guide a reusable dispensing body to engage a predetermined region of the can end. In an illustrative example, an auto-interfacing can end (AICE) may include a structural rib disposed inward from an outer rim of the AICE. The outer rim, for example, may define a continuous top surface configured to engage a dispensing body. The continuous top surface also includes a predetermined aperture at a center region. In some implementations, the structural rib may include a vertical displacement perpendicular to a horizontal plane of the continuous top surface. For example, a score of the AICE may include check slots configured to facilitate formation of the predetermined aperture. Various embodiments may advantageously self-align the reusable dispensing body to the center of the continuous top surface when the reusable dispensing body is advancing towards the can end.

Rotary actuated dispenser

A handheld rotary actuated product dispenser having a product compartment with a screw-threaded interior wall; a piston with screw threads on the outer circumference of the piston which cooperate with the screw threads of the product compartment; a spindle of non-circular cross section that passes through the center of the piston; and a base member which facilitates rotation of the drive shaft to move the piston within the product compartment so as to dispense product from the product compartment.

Sealing cap having tamper evidence ring for sealing resealable container and method of use
12365511 · 2025-07-22 ·

A plug styled closure cap for resealing a resealable container. The cap includes a body comprising a sidewall, a motion translating feature formed on an exterior surface of the sidewall of the plug style closure cap body that translates a rotational motion to an axial motion when engaged with a mating translating feature formed on an interior surface of a container opening, a sealing surface that engages with a mating sealing surface of the container opening, and a tamper evidence feature integral with the cap body. The sealing surface can include an elastomeric element. The tamper evidence feature can include at least one segment defined by frangible elements. A method of use enables resealing of the container and indication when the container is no longer factory sealed.

Beverage container

Beverage container, at least comprising a housing with a base, a lid and a wall region connecting the base with the lid, as well as a first core bevel between the lid and the wall region extending circumferentially along a circumferential direction; wherein the beverage container has a first volume which can be at least partially filled with a liquid; wherein a closure is arranged in the lid and along a radial direction within the first core bevel, via which closure the liquid can be removed from the first volume in the opened state; wherein at least a portion of the opened closure extends into the first volume; wherein a fluid container is arranged within the first volume.

PULL TAB SYSTEM WITH ADDITIONAL GRIPPING PORTIONS
20260048895 · 2026-02-19 ·

A pull tab system with additional gripping portions. The pull tab system may be implemented with containers such as can to provide a mechanism to open the can. The pull tab includes an underneath concave curvature that increases the free space available below the pull tab to enable users with disabilities and long fingernails to grip the underside of the pull tab from below the pull tab. The pull tab system also may include a cavity implemented in the top surface of the can that extends beneath and under the pull tab to provide additional free space to grip the pull tab from below the pull tab.

PATTERNED CAN END MODULAR DISPENSING SYSTEMS WITH ENHANCED RECYCLABILITY

Apparatus and associated methods relate to a can having a pattern of radial displacement of material of a malleable can end with respect to a longitudinal axis of a malleable can body. In an illustrative example, the can end may sealingly couple to an open end of the longitudinally extending can body by a circumferential seam to form a sealed cavity. A can-opening dispenser may, for example, include at least one radially displaceable element (RDISP) configured such that, when operated into releasable engagement with the radially patterned seam, the dispenser resists rotation relative to the can about the can's longitudinal axis. The RDISP may, for example, be radially deflected by operation of a collar in a first rotational direction (FRD). Continued operation of the collar in the FRD may, for example, operate an opening member to open the can. Various embodiments may advantageously provide self-opening dispensers for recyclable cans.
