Hanging, stackable and nestable industrial bin

A hanging, stackable and nestable bin for storing parts and components used in assembly includes a pair of footers and a pair of footer depressions having a complimentary shape to one another. The hanging, stackable and nestable bin also includes a notch with a projection formed in the floor of the bin that extends transversely along the rear wall of the bin and a complimentary shaped upper rear wall rim. The footer, footer depressions, notch and upper rear wall rim provide three point stacking support when one bin is stacked onto another bin. In addition, the hanging, stackable and nestable bin includes sidewalls that are generally planar at the rear portion of the bin which aid in facilitating nesting of one bin into another bin. A cleat formed in the top rear wall of the bin provides rear hanging support for the bin.

Storage Kit and Assembly

The present invention relates to a kit and an assembly for the storage and transportation of medical equipment including endoscopes, as well as a method for storing and transporting endoscopes. In particular, the present invention relates to a support tray (1) for endoscopes, a barrier sheet (264, 764, 864, 967 and 978) and a kit for the transportation of endoscopes comprising a support tray and barrier sheet. A kit for the transportation and storage of an endoscope comprises a rigid support tray and barrier means. The rigid support tray comprises a base plate (2, 102, 902) having opposing first and second sides; a plurality of guide walls (4, 104, 904) projecting from the first side of the base plate, the guide walls arranged to define areas for placement of parts of said endoscope on the first side of the base plate; a plurality of support members (10, 110, 910) extending from the second side of the base plate, the support members being arranged such that when two trays are stacked on top of each other, the arrangement of the support members is such that, in a first orientation the two base plates are separated by a first distance and in a second orientation the two base plates are separated by a second distance, the second distance being greater than the first distance; and retaining members (931) extending from an edge region of the support tray. The barrier means comprises a flexible sheet including a liner portion (276, 767, 967) for providing, in use, a barrier layer between the support tray and said endoscope, the flexible sheet including retaining means for engagement with the retaining members (941, 945) of the support tray to retain the sheet in contact with the tray.

The present disclosure relates to a first storage bin having a main body with a base wall, side walls, a rear wall, and a front wall defining an open top, a partly open front, and a rim with built-in handles. Each side wall has an inner surface with a platform and an outer surface with a channel. The platform has a stacking surface adjacent to the rim. The bin also includes a movable handle attached to the rim, which is movably connected to the main body. The flip handle can be in an opened position, allowing stacking of the first storage bin with a second storage bin, or in a closed position, allowing nesting of the first storage bin with the second storage bin, without any lateral offset between the first and second storage bins so that there is no lean in either the stacked or nested arrangements.

Stackable crate

A stackable crate has a horizontally oriented bottom panel and four vertically oriented side panels that are separately attached at their edges to form the stackable crate. Two straight-line channels, with widths at their tops being greater than at their bottoms, form ribs within the crate. When the channels and ribs of a first crate are aligned with the channels of a second stackable crate, the first crate nests within the second crate even when non-uniform material in the second crate is stored within it, without spilling the material or toppling the stack. When the channels and ribs of the first crate are not aligned with the channels of the second crate, the first crate does not nest within the second crate but instead rests on the tops of the ribs of the first crate.
