WATER AND OTHER LIQUIDS CONTAINING HYDROGEN AND/OR NOBLE GASES
Embodiments described herein generally relate to liquids such as water containing hydrogen and a noble gas such as xenon. Such liquids may be useful, for example, for increasing a subject's physical energy levels, for improvement in athletic performance, or the like. For example, the liquid may be in the form of an energy drink. The liquids (e.g., aqueous solutions) and articles described herein may be orally administered to a subject, e.g., drunk by a subject. Some embodiments relate to liquids disposed within a container (e.g., a sealed container), such that the liquid comprises hydrogen gas and a noble gas dissolved or otherwise contained (e.g., infused) in the liquid. In certain embodiments, the hydrogen gas and/or noble gas may be present in the liquid at a particular concentration (e.g., a physiologically relevant concentration). Advantageously, the compositions, articles, and methods described herein may provide liquids containing hydrogen gas and a noble gas that are shelf-stable (e.g., maintain a relatively stable concentration of hydrogen gas and/or noble gas(es)) for relatively long periods of time (e.g., at least 7 days).
BEVERAGE CONTAINERS WITH TACTILE ELEMENTS
A beverage container has an image on its exterior surface that includes at least one graphic element.
At least one tactile element is provided on the exterior surface of the container, overlying at least one of the at least one graphic elements. This tactile element is formed of at least two distinct layers of an overvarnish applied over, and having a thickness that can be felt by a user touching the container.
Container
The present application discloses a novel container, which comprises: a bottle body that has a fitting area in concave shape arranged on the outer surface; a protection layer arranged on the fitting area; a pattern layer arranged on a side surface of the protection layer away from the fitting area; a light-transmittable wrapping layer arranged on the pattern layer; a bonding layer is arranged on a side edge of the light-transmittable wrapping layer, the light-transmittable wrapping layer connects with the side edge of the fitting area through the bonding layer. By arranging the fitting area on the bottle body, the protection layer in the fitting area, the pattern layer on the side surface of the protection layer away from fitting area, and the light-transmittable wrapping layer on the pattern layer, the pattern layer is protected effectively.
TESTING METHOD AND TESTING SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a testing method and a corresponding testing system, for example for testing workpieces (2), which are provided for producing containers, in particular beverage bottles, and which can consist of a basic body and a barrier layer that is at least partially applied to the basic body, whereby the workpieces (2) are transported into a receiving vessel (4) by means of a transport device (3), and whereby an image of the workpieces (2) is generated by means of a capturing device (6) and is transmitted to a processing device for testing, wherein the workpieces (2) are led into the receiving vessel (4) upon leaving the transport device (3), whereby the image is generated between the departure from the transport device (3) and the receiving vessel (4) and wherein the image is processed by the processing device in such a way that the quality of the basic body and/or the quality of the barrier layer of the workpieces (2) is tested in order to detect defective workpieces (2). The same testing system and the same testing method can also be used to count the workpieces (2).
UV Plastic Object Protection System
A UV plastic object protection system for protecting a plastic object and any contents of the plastic object from ultraviolet light. The UV plastic object protection system generally includes a plastic material mixed with a UV reflective material to reflect UV light to protect the plastic object and any contents within the plastic object. The UV reflective material may alternatively be attached to the exterior of the plastic object via a host material such as paint, dye, ink or adhesive label.
Light-shielding container
Provided is a light-shielding container which has an ultraviolet-ray transmittance of 0% at wavelengths of 200-370 nm and to which contents are less apt to adhere. A light-shielding container for holding contents, characterized by having at least an inner layer composed of a thermoplastic resin, a first light-shielding layer composed of a resin containing an inorganic ultraviolet inhibitor and a second light-shielding layer composed of a resin containing an organic ultraviolet absorber, disposed in this order from the content side.
PREFORM COATING DEVICE, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PREFORM, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING PLASTIC BOTTLE
The present invention provides a preform coating device (10) provided with a cylindrical transfer roller (11) for rotating about a center shaft (111), and an application device for applying a coating liquid in a predetermined thickness to an external peripheral face of the transfer roller (11), the external peripheral face of the transfer roller (11) rotating so as to touch an external peripheral face of a preform (1), and the coating liquid thereby being transferred from the external peripheral face of the transfer roller (11) to the external peripheral face of the preform (1).
Glass container coating and surface treatment process
A glass container that includes a microwave susceptor coating on an exterior surface thereof, and a process for healing flaws in an exterior portion of the glass container. When the glass container is exposed to microwave radiation, the microwave susceptor coating generates heat and selectively and locally provides a major portion of such heat to regions of glass in the exterior portion of the glass container that are in close proximity to the flaws. These regions of glass in the exterior portion of the glass container may be selectively and locally heated so that the glass therein can flow and thereby fill-in the flaws in the exterior portion of the glass container. This process can be used to heal flaws in an exterior portion of a glass container without impairing the structural integrity of the glass container.
Medication Container with Enhanced Stability and Label Visibility
A container for storing medications comprises a body with a top end, a bottom end, and a closeable opening at the top end. The bottom end features a stabilizing structure with a pair of projections positioned on opposite sides of the body and a connecting portion between the projections. The body includes a substantially planar first surface extending from the top end to the connecting portion, a pair of second surfaces extending from the top end to the sides of the projections, and a third surface with an upper portion protruding outward, a middle portion tapering inward, and a lower portion forming part of the stabilizing structure. This design enhances stability, label visibility, and ease of handling. The closeable opening can include various mechanisms such as a screw cap, child-resistant cap, snap-fit cap, flip-top cap, press-and-turn cap, or hermetically sealed cap to ensure airtight storage.
