SOUND ATTENUATION FOR MATERIAL HANDLING SYSTEMS
A sound attenuated material handling element reduces vibration and sound in a material handling system. The material handling element may be a sound attenuated roller for use in a roller conveyer or a sound attenuated nestable tote for receiving and transporting articles in the material handling system. Reducing vibration in material handling element reduces the noise produced by the element. The sound attenuated roller includes sound attenuating material disposed inside of the roller and in contact with the inner surface of the roller body. The sound attenuated nestable tote includes sound dampening material disposed in or formed with the tote structure. The sound damping material may be integrally formed with the roller or tote in order to maximize vibration and noise attenuation. Three dimensional computer analysis may be used to determine optimized locations for placement of the sound damping material on the roller or tote.
UTENSIL CONTIGUOUS WITH AN ELEMENT OF A FOOD PACKAGE
An article of manufacture comprising a planar utensil element fabricated of an elongated foldable material and having a plurality of scores indicating where the planar utensil element is to be folded in order to become a usable utensil. Folding the planar utensil element about the scores produces a handle and a bowl. An element of a food package fabricated of the same material as the planar utensil element, such as a cover, covers at least a portion of the planar utensil element. The cover or other element of the food package provides physical and hygienic protection to the planar utensil element during transportation of the planar utensil element. The planar utensil element is positioned under the cover or other element on a surface of the food package.
E-commerce package
A package for shipping a product ordered via the Internet. The package comprising a container body, an inner label, a closure, an outer label removably attached to and covering all or part of the inner label, and a shipping label adhered to the outer label.
Fusion Packaging
Disclosed herein are fusion packaging and fusion packages. One package includes a frame configured to provide structure for the package, a sidewall fused to the frame, and a tethered cap connected to one end of the frame. Another package includes a sleeve configured to provide structure for the package, a tethered cap fused to one end of the sleeve, and a seal configured to be fused to a remaining end of the sleeve after the package is filled with content. Another package includes a frame configured to provide structure for the package, a film fused to the frame, a cap connected to one end of the frame, the cap including a structure to retain the cap after removal from the frame, and a seal connected to another end of the frame, where one of the cap and seal are connected to the frame after material placement.
PRESCRIPTION SLEEVE
A container for medication is provided that has an inner sleeve nested within an outer sleeve. The inner sleeve is retained within the outer sleeve by a ring that engages a lip that is located near a top opening of the outer sleeve. Two labels may be attached to the outer sleeve and inner sleeve, respectively. This effective doubles the surface area for printed information compared to conventional containers of a corresponding size.
Hygienic Handling of Infant Formula Containers
A closure and dispensing system for a container storing granulated powder that includes a closure comprising a collar and a lid, and a measuring utensil. An anti-bacterial food-grade additive can be coated on these components of the dispensing system or incorporated into the material of manufacture. The anti-microbial additive can include silver ions incorporated in the plastic resin or incorporated into a lacquer. The lid can be formed with a utensil retainer that can include an anti-microbial agent incorporated into its material of manufacture or coated onto its surface. The measuring utensil can be stored inside the closure and used to dispense granulated powder from the container.

HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM HAVING LONGITUDINAL (LENGTHWISE) DIRECTION AS MAIN SHRINKAGE DIRECTION
[Problem] To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film having excellent shrink finishing property due to the film's sufficient heat shrinkability and low shrinkage stress in the longitudinal direction, small change in the non-shrinkable direction of the film.
[Solution] The heat-shrinkable polyester film which heat-shrinks in the longitudinal direction and satisfying the following (1) to (6); (1) having a shrinkage of 35% to 70% in the longitudinal direction; (2) having a shrinkage of −8% to 7% in the width direction; (3) having a change rate of 5% to 22% when fixed in the longitudinal direction with fixed-length; (4) having a change rate of 5% to 20% in the width direction when fixed with 10% of slack in the longitudinal direction; (5) having a maximum shrinkage stress of 5 MPa to 15 MPa in the longitudinal direction; (6) having a stress at 10% elongation, F10, of 1 MPa to 5 MPa in the longitudinal direction and 0.5 MPa to 3 MPa in the width direction.
