Packaging with automatic authentication system for packaged product
A product with packaging includes an envelope having a cavity. An envelope flap may be opened, and may initiate a smart packaging feature, such as an NFC chip embedded in the packaging. The NFC chip may search for an electronic device, such as the electronic device of the specific user, and once connected may initiate or carry out an authentication process or activation process.
TAMPER RESISTANT CONTAINERS FOR FOOD AND OTHER ITEMS
A container, comprising a body having a closed lower portion, a middle portion adapted for storing contents, and a closeable open upper portion; and an item, such as a strip of paper, adapted to cooperate with the closeable open upper portion, wherein the item includes identifying indicia regarding the stored contents, and wherein the item cooperates with the closeable upper portion to make the closeable upper portion tamper-resistant after closure thereof.

Packaging with radio-frequency authentication system for packaged product
A product with packaging includes an envelope having a cavity. An NFC chip may be embedded in the packaging. The NFC chip may be passive, and may connect to the electronic device of the specific user, and once connected may initiate or carry out an authentication process or activation process.
Tamper detection system
A system for securely transporting an item is disclosed, the system comprising a container comprising walls defining an inner cavity and a detection means for detecting tampering, wherein the detection means is contained within the walls of the container. The system further comprises an electronic sensor module, wherein the electronic sensor module comprises a continuity sensor configured to detect a discontinuity in the detection means. The system further comprises a transmitter configured to transmit a signal indicative of whether or not the continuity sensor has detected a discontinuity in the detection means. The signal may comprise a first type of signal responsive to the continuity sensor not detecting a discontinuity in the detection means and a second type of signal responsive to the continuity sensor detecting a discontinuity in the detection means. The transmitter is further configured to transmit a signal indicative of the continuity sensor having detected a discontinuity in the detection means after a pre-determined period of time has elapsed. The system thereby provides a system for remotely detecting tampering and improving the security of transported items to an expected location.
Secure self-mailing financial instrument for payments and fund transfers and a method for processing payments and fund transfers made by way of the secure self-mailing financial instrument
A secure self-mailing financial instrument for payments/fund transfers and methods for processing are disclosed which provide a packaging mailer with a detachable securely printed financial instrument attached for the purpose of facilitating secure and convenient delivery of funds for fund transfers, payments, or purchases, including methods for assembling, opening, and preparing for shipment and for processing locally at one of a point of sale location and a website that provides a service to remotely process preparation, shipment, and delivery of the financial instrument as a mailer, as well as for remote printing, processing, folding and sealing, and tracking.

Tamper evident locking device
A locking device includes a lock body, a hasp and a seal. The lock body includes a hasp locking latch pivotally disposed therein and a seal locking latch pivotally disposed therein. The hasp is disposed at the lock body and movable between an open state, where a free end of the hasp is external the lock body, and a closed state, where the free end of the hasp is within the lock body. The seal, when inserted into the lock body when the hasp is in its closed state, engages the hasp locking latch to pivot the hasp locking latch to engage and lock the hasp in its closed state, and the seal, when inserted into the lock body, engages the seal locking latch to lock the seal within the lock body. The seal includes a frangible portion that is configured to break the seal into first and second portions.
