MULTIPLAYER, MULTISPORT INDOOR GAME SYSTEM AND METHOD
The invention relates to social activities typically based on physical manipulation of objects to achieve an objective common to the participants or to allow participants to engage in distinct activities on a shared field of play, part of which is physical and part of which is virtual and rendered on one or more displays. The invention provides a system and method to enable multiple participants (users) to engage in the activity sequentially or simultaneously, based on the context and objectives of the game. The activity includes one or many shared physical environments modeled on a computing system and displayed, in high fidelity, by one or more projectors or screens.
SKIPPING ROPE
Provided is a skipping rope. The skipping rope allows the rope skipping times being counted and displayed in the form of light, facilitating users and others to learn about the rope skipping times. The skipping rope comprises two handles, a rope arranged between the two handles, a counting module located on one of the two handles for counting the rope skipping times, a display device arranged within the rope and electrically connected with the counting module for displaying the rope skipping times in the form of light after the counting module counts the rope skipping times.
EXERCISE SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED LIGHT AND HEAT EMITTING LAMP
An exercise system includes a lamp device having a main body, a plurality of lighting elements and a controller for performing wireless communication. The system includes a platform provider and a mobile application for use with a user interface device. The mobile application includes instructions for allowing a user to select from a library of video exercise routines stored on the platform provider, and to create a customized workout video. The lamp device is communicatively linked to the user interface device and is selectively activated by the platform provider during execution of the workout video to function in a heat producing mode, an infrared mode, a near-infrared mode, a far-infrared mode and a red light therapy mode.
SUSPENDED TARGET TRAMPOLINE GAME
A suspended target trampoline game includes a trampoline having a trampoline frame which includes a trampoline leg supporting the trampoline frame, and an enclosure. The enclosure includes an enclosure pole connected to the trampoline frame. The enclosure pole supports an enclosure net. An overhanging pole is connected to the enclosure pole. A line is suspended from the overhanging pole. A target is suspended from the line. A detachable connection can be formed between the target and the line. The detachable connection releasably attaches the target to the line. A slack control mechanism can adjust a height of the target. The target can be a ball.
Exercise storage system
An exercise storage system includes a storage compartment including at least one storage element. Exercise equipment is stored on the storage elements. A door is connected to the storage compartment with a hinge such that the viewing angle of the door is adjustable. A display on the door includes a backlit display and a mirrored display. A user may select exercise equipment from the storage compartment and perform an exercise activity while viewing the display.
Digital patch for discrete signaling, a baseball glove including same, and related method of manufacture
An apparatus for communication, a system thereof, and methods of manufacture thereof are provided. The apparatus comprises a body and a printed circuit board (PCB) operatively coupled to the body. The PCB comprises a processing unit, a first communication module operatively coupled to the processing unit, and an array of assemblies. The first communication module is configured to communicate with a secondary communication module wirelessly. The array of assemblies comprises at least two rows and at least two columns. Each assembly comprises a switch and a light. The array of assemblies are operatively coupled to the processing unit. Each light is configured to change a state responsive to at least one of a change in state by the switch within the same assembly and a control signal from the first communication module.
SPORT DISC CARRYING DEVICE
A sport disc carrying device is a carrier for holding glow in the dark sport discs used for playing nighttime “Disc Golf.” The sport discs are formed from a glow in the dark material and the carrier has partitioned slots for holding a plurality of sport discs with the interior surfaces formed from a highly reflective material. Each sport disc slot has a light source for recharging the glow in the dark sport discs. The carrier has a rechargeable battery to enable use where no utility power is available
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A treadmill includes a deck having a continuous track, and a plurality of slats fixedly connected to the track. The treadmill also includes a first post extending from the deck, a second post extending from the deck opposite the first post, and a first arm supported by the first post and including a first rotary control. The treadmill further includes a second arm opposite the first arm and supported by the second post. The second arm includes a second rotary control separate from the first rotary control. The first rotary control is configured to control a first function of the treadmill and the second rotary control is configured to control a second function of the treadmill different from the first function.
PROJECTILE POSITION MEASUREMENT USING NON-LINEAR CURVE FITTING
An electronic home plate provides assistance to an umpire in determining whether a pitch results in a “strike” or a “ball.” The home plate is implemented with LEDs producing discrete pulses of infrared light beams extending vertically. As a moving ball intersects the pulses, light from the pulses is scattered and incident on photodetectors embedded in the home plate, producing a series of data points. Two stages of light compensation compensate the data points for ambient light, first by applying an offset current to a photodetector through a PNP transistor, and second by subtracting a measurement immediately before a pulse from a measurement during the pulse. A processor then fits the data points to a curve, to compute vertical and lateral positions of the ball, thereby determining whether the pitch passed within a strike zone. Other applications may similarly analyze the trajectory of other projectiles for various purposes.
ENHANCING MONITORING OF SWIMMING
A device for measuring physical activity of a user during swimming is provided, which includes the following: a sensor unit adapted and dimensioned to be coupled with swimming goggles, wherein the sensor unit includes a motion circuitry configured to measure physical motion of the user; an optical cardiac activity circuitry configured to be placed at least partially against a body tissue of the user and to measure cardiac activity of the user; and a wireless communication circuitry configured to transfer data between the device and at least one external device, wherein the wireless communication circuitry is configured to transfer physical activity data of the user to the at least one external device, and the physical activity data includes at least one of motion data obtained using the motion circuitry, cardiac activity data obtained using the cardiac activity circuitry.
