A device includes a signaling means and a motion sensor, and logic for activating or controlling the signaling means in response to a sensed motion according to an embedded logic. The device may be used as a toy, and may be shaped like a play ball or as a handheld unit. It may be powered from a battery, either chargeable from an AC power source directly or contactless by using induction or by converting electrical energy from harvested kinetic energy. The embedded logic may activate or control the signaling means, predictably or randomly, in response to sensed acceleration magnitude or direction, such as sensing the crossing of a preset threshold or sensing the peak value. The visual means may be a numeric display for displaying a value associated with the count of the number of times the threshold has been exceeded or the peak magnitude of the acceleration sensed.

Sleeves for improving performance and control are disclosed. The sleeves are constructed for use on the fingers, wherein each sleeve is constructed in some embodiments with grip zones that match areas of the finger to ensure improved grip while maintaining flexibility, compression, protection, and material durability. Each grip zone is positioned to ensure that fingers are able to naturally bend without impeding grip performance. A spine on a rear of the sleeve ensures material durability, limits over extension, and provides padding and protection.

The pulleys are configured to selectively receive the pull cables to enable the pull cables to be selectively attached to a barbell to assist or hinder a user in lifting the barbell in a combined cableand free weight workout, the pull cables decoupled from the pulleys for cable workouts.

A luminous basketball backboard includes a light guide backboard and a basketball rim disposed on a front side of the light guide backboard. The light guide backboard is provided with an LED light for emitting light toward the light guide backboard. A front face or a rear face of the light guide backboard has a plane area and a pattern area. The pattern area and the plane area are in different planes. When the LED light emits light, the pattern area of the light guide backboard changes a light propagation route so that the pattern area has a darker light color than that of the plane area, thereby presenting a corresponding decorative effect, such as patterns, characters, and logos.

A portable game where balls are rolled over a ramp at targets. The game incorporates aspects of bocce ball with the additional challenge of a ramp and different types of targets. The game can roll up into an easily transportable package with all game pieces stored inside the roll. The roll can then be deployed to act as a portion of the game's playing surface in any suitable location. The game consists of balls, a runner, a ramp, and different forms of targets. The runner could be made of slats, fabric, or other materials that are flexible and can be rolled. The balls are similar to bocce balls but could be lighter or smaller for easy transport.

A treadmill may include two separate left and right belts rotating around two sets of rollers, four legs having an adjustable height via air suspension to customize an inclination of the treadmill, a thermoelectric assembly, a fragrance assembly having a rotating fragrance cartridge to emit various smells toward a user of the treadmill, a display on which exercise programs are played, and an attachment module having a dispensing tray on which treats are dispensed. A handle of the treadmill may have a sensor to sense a height and front-rear position, and a belt divider provided between the left and right belts may have position or proximity sensors to sense a left-right position. An inclination of the treadmill may be automatically adjusted according to positions detected by the sensors, and the fragrance assembly, attachment module, and inclination may be automatically operated in accordance with an exercise program played on the display.

A control system for regulation balls in a football field and regulation ball support for same is provided. The system has ball supports arranged in a football field, a central control unit and a portable electronic device. Each ball support has presence sensors for detecting a football in a supporting base and data processing means for wirelessly communicating information from the presence sensors to the central control unit. The central control unit monitors the presence of footballs in each ball support and repeatedly sends, wirelessly, the results from the monitoring to the portable electronic device, which graphically shows on a screen the presence or absence of footballs in the corresponding ball supports.

A lighted sports ball is provided. The lighted sports ball includes an interior housing through which light can pass. The interior housing features a cavity within the interior housing. The lighted sports ball further includes a circuit board mounted to the interior housing. The circuit board is connected to a battery and has a light module as well as a controller for controlling an output of the at least one light module. An exterior cover is applied over the interior housing. The exterior cover has an aperture through which light from the light module can pass. An in-goal ball return device, the ball return device is a material implement having a front edge, side edges, and a rear edge. The device is configured for attachment within a goal, the goal having a supporting net mesh. The device has a plurality of closed loops disposed along the rear edge and side edges. The device includes a lacing cord for threading through any number of the closed loops and the net to secure the material implement to the net mesh. The device forms a continuous angled surface between the front and closed portion of the goal when attached.

An adjustable laser-sensor paired system for creating or replicating a desired swing form includes a laser device and a sensor device. The laser device has a laser which emits a laser beam and a mounting device which attaches the laser device to an object. The orientation of the laser is adjustable. The sensor device has an optical linear position sensor for detecting the laser beam of the laser device and a display with LEDs for providing feedback and user interface. With the system and method, one or more checkpoints for the form of a desired swing can be created at a selected point in the swing path, which may then be used as practice reference guides to check whether the user is correctly replicating the desired swing.
