A balance training system includes a moving carriage that moves on a moving surface, and a detection unit that detects a load received from training person's feet, and drives a driving unit based on the load's center of gravity of the feet to control movement of the moving carriage. A boarding plate is divided into a front plate on which a toe side of the feet is placed and a rear plate on which a heel side of the feet is placed. The detection unit includes right and left front load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the front plate, and right and left rear load sensors, respectively provided with tilts to the right and left foot sides, on a rear surface side opposite to the boarding surface of the rear plate.

Biometric assessment in fitness improvement

In some embodiments, an automated system comprises one or more biometric sensors, an interactive screen, and an exercise routine generation application communicable with a mobile application. In some embodiments, the mobile application receives data from an automated station and displays exercise routines, other exercise information, or both. In some embodiments, the mobile application includes a scanner to scan labels, other indicia, or physical or other features of an exercise machine or other exercise apparatus to identify the machine or apparatus. In some embodiments, the mobile application communicates with one or more local or remote databases identifying differing exercise facility locations within a geographic area and identifying exercise apparatus available in each of the differing facilities.

Braking and locking system for a treadmill

Improved exercise assemblies and related methods of use are provided. More particularly, the present disclosure provides advantageous exercise assemblies that are adjustable, changeable and/or rotatable. The present disclosure provides for an exercise assembly that can function as a straight pull-up bar in one arrangement, and can also function as a dynamic, range-of-motion exercise assembly in another arrangement. The exemplary exercise assembly includes an advantageous design that permits users to not only perform straight bar pull-ups, but also allows users to quickly and easily convert the assembly into a two-handled, variable resistance, bicycle-style crank (e.g., a rotating bicycle pull up bar assembly) in which the user rotates two handles of the bar similar to how a cyclist rotates bicycle pedals.

A power operated exercise apparatus includes two drive mechanisms configured to drive a left pedal and a right pedal, and a position measuring device, force measuring devices for measuring positions and force conditions of the pedals. A control unit is configured to control the drive mechanism and receive measurement content of the measuring devices, and storing a plurality of exercise programs for being selected by the user. During at least one specific operation period, the control unit repeatedly determines in which directions the left pedal and the right pedal should be moved according to information of positions and force conditions of the pedals so as to meet the displacement path and the correlation of a selected one of the exercise programs and to immediately control the left drive mechanism and the right drive mechanism to respectively drive the left pedal and the right pedal to move in a determined direction.

METHOD OF GAIT EVALUATION AND TRAINING WITH DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SYSTEM

There is described an integrated unweighted gait training system having an unweighting system comprising a computer controller; a gait measurement system in communication with the controller; and a display in communication with the computer controller adapted and configured to provide real-time feedback to a user of the integrated unweighting gait training system. The unweighting system may be a differential air pressure (DAP) unweighting system or a non-DAP unweighting system.
