Airless tubular container (1) with an outer tube (1a) and an inner container (1b) both provided with respective skirts (2a, 2b). The inner container (1b) comprises an adapter (3b) to couple the inner container (1b) to the outer tube (1a). The skirt (2b) of the inner container (1b) is joined to the adapter (3b) and comprises a deployable portion (20) arranged under the adapter (3b). The deployable portion (20) enables the length of the skirt (2b) of the inner container (1b) to be adjusted with respect to the length of the skirt (2a) of the outer tube (1a), during the manufacture of the tubular container (1). Furthermore, the deployable portion (20) allows a relaxed collapsing of the inner container (1b) during use of the tubular container (1).

Airless tubular container (1) with an outer tube (1a) and an inner container (1b) both provided with respective skirts (2a, 2b). The inner container (1b) comprises an adapter (3b) to couple the inner container (1b) to the outer tube (1a). The skirt (2b) of the inner container (1b) is joined to the adapter (3b) and comprises a deployable portion (20) arranged under the adapter (3b). The deployable portion (20) enables the length of the skirt (2b) of the inner container (1b) to be adjusted with respect to the length of the skirt (2a) of the outer tube (1a), during the manufacture of the tubular container (1). Furthermore, the deployable portion (20) allows a relaxed collapsing of the inner container (1b) during use of the tubular container (1).

Among other things, a dispenser for dispensing material is provided herein. The dispenser includes a cover. The dispenser is configured to receive a container from which material is dispensed. The container is adapted to be supported by the cover. Biasing structure is adapted to apply a force to the container to facilitate dispensing the material from the container.

An apparatus for mixing and dispensing viscous food products is described herein. The apparatus may include a pump device for drawing the viscous food product from a container and distributing over a rotating turntable. The apparatus includes a cassette device with replaceable pliable food containers connected to the pump device through a friction-fit connection. The cassette device includes a sliding roller assembly and a door, with the container installed between the sliding roller assembly and the door such that the roller assembly applies force against the door and container as the sliding roller assembly descends under gravity. The sliding roller assembly includes level indicators visible through the door that provide visual indication of the level of food product remaining within the container.

A modified consumer packaging for a viscous personal care product is disclosed that can be opened preferably along a longitudinal edge or circumferential section to bypass its traditional delivery port and allow a consumer to access and collect product that otherwise would be discarded. A first example of this concept is an otherwise conventional toothpaste tube that includes a pull tab to open the tube along a longitudinal edge. The pull tab and the longitudinal seam (which can include perforations or reduced thickness) can be covered with a protective tape or film, and accessed only when the tube is substantially evacuated. Once the pull tab is actuated, the tube opens and the interior of the tube is exposed to allow product to be removed that otherwise would be inaccessible.

A tubular container and container forming device and method according to the present invention provides a dispensing tubular container having a dispensing end, a sealed end, and a region along the length of the tubular container having surface variations (e.g. outward extending teeth) formed along the length of the tubular container as part of the tubular container over which a movable compression device may move, engage and be longitudinally retained as it is advanced toward the dispensing end. The teeth may have a radial and lateral wall thicknesses similar or equal to the tubular container wall thickness, to thicknesses greater than the tubular container wall thickness, and further include varying radial thickness or profile along an exterior dimension (e.g. length) of the tubular container. Also included are structures and processes to provide an injection molded polyethylene or polypropylene tubular container having longitudinal formations of desired wall thicknesses or profile.
