Container with Multiple Openings for Holding a Liquid
A container that includes: a body; a first opening at a first end of the body and a second opening at a second end of the body, where the second end of the body additionally includes a plurality of threads on an exterior surface of the body; a lid assembly capable of being affixed to the second opening, where the lid assembly includes a band, a lid, and a sealant; a cover to conceal the lid assembly.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CAP FOR PLUGGING A BOTTLE COMPRISING CORK SHEETS GLUED ON THE TWO LIDS AND ON THE ROLL
A method for manufacturing a cap for plugging a bottle so as to be able to be forcibly inserted into the neck of the bottle, comprising the following steps: cutting cork sheets to be glued on the lids and on the roll of the cap, gluing one of said cork sheets on the roll of the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter by depositing a binder suitable for food contact, followed by baking, and gluing each of the other cork sheets on each lid of the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter by depositing a binder suitable for food contact, followed by baking, the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter being a cap made of crushed cork glued under pressure with a polyurethane binder, having a diameter uniformly reduced by a thickness equal to twice the thickness of a cork sheet glued on the roll.
THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION
A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, polyethylene, and antioxidant. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 50 wt, % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 3 wt. % to about 30 wt. %. The antioxidant may be from about 0 to about 0.5 wt. %.
Method for producing cork stopper and cork stopper
An objective of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a cork stopper by compression molding cork grains, which can provide a cork stopper excellent in sealability and safety. There is provided a method for producing a cork stopper, comprising: mixing cork grains and an adhesive; compression molding the mixture to give an intermediate; and then heating the intermediate to expand the cork grains.
CAPSULE FOR FLANGED CORK STOPPER, CAPSULATED STOPPER COMPRISING SAID CAPSULE AND PRODUCTION PROCESS OF THE CAPSULATED STOPPER
The invention relates to a capsule (1) for a flanged cork stopper, the capsule (1) having a body (2) comprising a top (3) and a cavity (4) inside which at least two anti-rotation splines (5) are arranged, and the capsule further comprising an axial retention chamber (6) disposed within said cavity (4), wherein retention chamber (6) is shaped to receive and axially retain a flange of a flanged cork stopper. The invention also relates to a capsulated stopper comprising a flanged stopper, the flange of which is attached to the capsule (1) of the invention. The invention further relates to the production process of said capsulated stopper.
DECORATIVE CLOSURE FOR A CONTAINER
A closure constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal-forming neck of a container, the closure having a substantially cylindrical shape and comprising substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of the closure, wherein the closure further comprises: (a) a closure precursor having a substantially cylindrical shape and comprising a lateral surface and substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of the closure precursor, wherein the lateral surface and the flat terminating surfaces of the closure precursor have a substantially uniform color; and (b) a decorative layer that at least partially covers at least the lateral surface of the closure precursor.
Wine bottle closure and opener device
A bottle closure and opener device for use on a wine bottle including a sleeve having a top side, a bottom side, an outer surface, and an inner surface, the top side having a first opening, the bottom side having a second opening, and the inner surface including inner threads, wherein the internal threads are configured to mate with external threads on a top portion of the wine bottle. A cork having an upper portion positioned within the first opening of the sleeve and extending above the bottle top and a lower portion of the cork positioned within the wine bottle's neck opening to seal a liquid within the wine bottle and to seal oxygen from entering the bottle. During operation, the cork and sleeve combination are configured to be removed from the wine bottle's opening via unscrewing the sleeve from the top portion of the wine bottle.
Cork and paperboard beverage-packaging container
A beverage-packaging container is provided that includes a container body for receiving the liquid and a cork stopper for sealing the liquid contents within the container body. The sidewalls and bottom wall of the container body are formed of paperboard and are preferably formed of a layered, recycled paperboard. The top wall of the container body is formed of a cork material with a cork-receiving hole disposed within the top wall. The cork stopper has a truncated cone-shaped portion that is configured to engage frictionally with the edges of the cork-receiving hole. The cork stopper may also have a wooden crown to aid the user in grasping and removing the cork stopper from the top hole of the container body.
