CLOSURE FOR A PRODUCT-RETAINING CONTAINER

A closure for a product-retaining container is constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal-forming neck of said container. The closure comprises: a plastic material comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer; a plurality of particles comprising cork; and at least one processing aid. Optionally, one or more additives and/or blowing agents may be included. A method for manufacturing a closure comprises intimately combining multiple components, heating the resulting composition to form a melt, forming a closure precursor from the melt, and optionally cutting and/or finishing the closure precursor to form the closure.

THERMOPLASTIC ELASTOMER COMPOSITION

A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, and polyethylene. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 60 wt. % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 0.1 wt. % to about 40 wt. %.

Method for manufacturing a cap for plugging a bottle comprising cork sheets glued on the two lids and on the roll

A method for manufacturing a cap for plugging a bottle so as to be able to be forcibly inserted into the neck of the bottle, comprising the following steps: cutting cork sheets to be glued on the lids and on the roll of the cap, gluing one of said cork sheets on the roll of the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter by depositing a binder suitable for food contact, followed by baking, and gluing each of the other cork sheets on each lid of the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter by depositing a binder suitable for food contact, followed by baking, the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter being a cap made of crushed cork glued under pressure with a polyurethane binder, having a diameter uniformly reduced by a thickness equal to twice the thickness of a cork sheet glued on the roll.

Thermoplastic elastomer composition

A thermoplastic elastomer composition and method of making the thermoplastic elastomer are disclosed. The thermoplastic elastomer may comprise a polymer blend. The polymer bland may comprise a non-crosslinked elastomer, oil, polyethylene, and anti-oxidant. The oil may be from about 15 wt. % to about 50 wt. % oil. The polyethylene may be from about 3 wt. % to about 30 wt. %. The anti-oxidant may be from about 0 to about 0.5 wt. %.

ANTI-COUNTERFEITING LABEL FOR DETECTING CORK ALTERATIONS

A near field magnetically coupled contactless device includes a foldable substrate in the form of a tape; two metal surfaces located facing each other on opposite sides of the substrate in a region of interest of the substrate, configured such that a piercing of the region of interest causes a permanent short circuit between the two metal surfaces; and a circuit configured to detect a short circuit between the two metal surfaces.

DUAL-MODE ANTI-COUNTERFEITING TAG

An NFC tag includes a foldable substrate in the form of a tape; an antenna located at a first end of the tape; a capacitor connected to the antenna, located at the first end of the tape; an impedance, in particular a capacitor, located at a second end of the tape; and conductive tracks running along the tape to connect the impedance to the antenna.

ANTI-COUNTERFEITING LABEL PRESERVING FUNCTIONALITY AFTER USE

A near field magnetically coupled anti-counterfeiting tag comprises a control microcircuit configured to implement a basic function and a cryptographic function; a sacrificial conductive track located across a sacrificial area of the tag; and a circuit for detecting continuity of the sacrificial track, cooperating with the microcircuit to implement the basic function without implementing the cryptographic function when the sacrificial track is broken.

ANTI-COUNTERFEITING LABEL FOR DETECTING CORK ALTERATIONS

A near field magnetically coupled contactless device, comprises a foldable substrate in the form of a tape; an antenna circuit tuned to a nominal frequency, including an antenna and a capacitor connected to the antenna; a sacrificial impedance connected to the antenna circuit to contribute to the tuning of the antenna circuit to the nominal frequency; and a sacrificial structure comprising a conductive track connecting the sacrificial impedance to the antenna circuit, configured in meanders occupying a region of interest of the substrate such that a piercing of the region of interest severs the conductive track.

CAP FOR PLUGGING A BOTTLE COMPRISING TWO LIDS AND A ROLL

A cap for plugging a bottle comprising two lids and a roll so as to be able to be forcibly inserted into the neck of the bottle, characterised in that it comprises: a semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter (10) formed by a cap made of crushed cork glued under pressure with a polyurethane binder, having a diameter uniformly reduced by a thickness equal to twice a predetermined thickness the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter (10) comprising two end faces (10a) and a lateral face (10b), a cork sheet (20a, 20b) glued on each of the end faces and on the lateral face of the semi-finished cap with a reduced diameter (10).

Closure for a product retaining container

A closure for a product retaining container constructed for being inserted and securely retained in a portal forming neck of the container has a substantially cylindrical shape and substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of said closure, wherein at least one of said terminating surfaces is at least partially covered by a decorative layer. Indicia may be applied on at least one of the two substantially flat terminating surfaces forming the opposed ends of a closure by means of hot stamping.
