SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR COORDINATING MUSCULOSKELETAL AND CARDIOVASCULAR HEMODYNAMICS
Described herein are systems and methods for favorably coordinating a timing relationship between a musculoskeletal activity cycle and a cardiac cycle of a user. A method may include repetitively detecting a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; determining an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship; computing a trend of the actual value of the signal; and adjusting the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value. A system may include a prompt device configured to provide recurrently a movement guidance to the user for guiding performance of the rhythmic musculoskeletal activity; a sensor configured to provide a signal that correlates to a blood volume in the user; and a processor configured to determine an actual value of the signal that varies with the timing relationship and to adjust the movement guidance based on the trend of the actual value.
APPARATUS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AND DISPLAYING PRE-EVENT AND POST-EVENT ANALYTE CONCENTRATION LEVELS
Embodiments of the invention provide apparatus, systems, and methods wherein pre-event and post-event analyte concentration readings associated with an event are collected and processed to determine a numerical delta. The numerical delta may be displayed on a visual display to aid in a ready determination of the affect that the event (alone or in combination with medication and/or insulin dosages) had on the analyte concentration levels. Medication and/or insulin dosages may be displayed alongside the numerical delta to gauge immediate relationships between numerical delta, dosage, and/or an associated event. Apparatus and systems for calculating and displaying the numerical delta are described, as are other aspects.
Perfect power rowing ergometer handle
A replacement handle for rowing exercise machines. The rowing machine handle described herein is a simple tool which can be added to existing machines to give the user greater feedback and control over training and exercise sessions, on a variety of rowing exercise machines, than is currently available. It is easy to use, and with included applications for mobile devices will help the user to create more effective training sessions and training programs. Said rowing machine handle can be used effectively by a wide range of users. Current rowing machine handles do not provide electronic feedback about the rowing motion or exercise performance. The above replacement handle will provide direct and immediate feedback to the user about his exercise session, including information about his rowing motion (technique) and his exercise performance (physiology).

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DETERMINING GOLF HANDICAP AS A FUNCTION OF BLOOD ALCOHOL CONCENTRATION
Provided are computer server-implemented methods for adjusting handicaps of players playing golf based on their level of intoxication. Such methods includes steps of (a) receiving handicap information of at least one player over a data network; and a step (b) receiving over the data network information associated with a golf course that the at least one player will play, the golf course information including levels of difficulty of playing respective holes of a plurality of holes of the golf course over the data network. These methods may also include a step of transmitting to the user device the BAC handicap for each player for the hole to be played, wherein the BAC handicap includes an indication of any award of extra strokes to one of the players for a hole to be played based on both such player's skill level and level of intoxication.
Apparatus, system, and method for reducing head or neck trauma
A system for reducing trauma in the head or neck of a living being caused by acceleration of the head relative to a torso of the living being within a range of motion. The system includes a support engaging at least one of the head, neck, and shoulder of the living being without limiting the range of motion of the head or neck relative to the torso; a sensor in electrical communication with the system; a user interface in electrical communication with the sensor; and a damper associated with the support that is configured to mitigate the position, speed or acceleration of the head relative to the torso in response to information received by the sensor or user interface.
VOICE ASSISTANT FOR WIRELESS EARPIECES
A system, method, and wireless earpieces for implementing a virtual assistant. A request is received from a user to be implemented by wireless earpieces. A virtual assistant is executed on the wireless earpieces. An action is implemented to fulfill the request utilizing the virtual assistant. The wireless earpieces may be a set of wireless earpieces and the virtual assistant may be implemented independently by the wireless earpieces.
Method and apparatus to determine the overall fitness of a test subject
A procedure and apparatus to determine the overall fitness of a test subject. For this purpose the qualitative and temporal progression of the heart rate under constant physical stress of the subject is prescribed with at least one parameter dependent on the subject. The heart rate of the subject is measured under constant physical stress during a period of time. The parameter(s) are determined from the measured values, and the maximum heart rate and/or the initial heart rate and/or the increase characteristic of the heart rate are determined from the function and the measured values by numerical procedures. The apparatus can measure the heart rate of the subject, record a temporal progression of the heart rate under physical stress, and determines numerically from the temporal progression of the heart rate, the maximum heart rate and/or the initial heart rate without physical stress and/or the increase characteristic of the heart rate.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR A WEARABLE TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM
A system and method for customizing biomechanical wearable sensors can include a customizable biomechanical processing layer, activity model layer, and/or device communication and processing management. The system and method can include monitoring biomechanical signals at a first set of wearable sensors configured in an initial biomechanical processing configuration; selecting a configuration option for the first set of wearable sensors; delivering the configuration option to the at least one wearable sensor; and monitoring biomechanical signals according to an altered biomechanical processing configuration that is altered according to the configuration option.
