STOPPER FOR A CONTAINER FOR USE IN FREEZE-DRYING PROCESSES, AND ASSEMBLY OF A STOPPER AND A CONTAINER
A stopper for a container for use in freeze-drying processes, and an assembly of a stopper and a container are provided. The stopper has an insertion section configured for insertion into the container. The insertion section has a sealing section for closing the container in a fluid-tight manner in a sealing position of the stopper and a contact section which adjoins the sealing section axially from a top surface in the direction of a bottom surface, for holding the stopper in a drying position of the stopper. The contact section has at least one passage opening for a gas exchange between an interior of the container and the surroundings of the container. The stopper has a sealing body and a main body connected together, wherein the main body consists of a material which has a higher degree of hardness than a material which makes up the sealing body. Regions of a lateral surface of the insertion section in contact with an inner surface of a container wall in the drying position and/or the sealing position, are formed by outer surfaces of the sealing body in the region of the contact section, wherein the main body is configured within the sealing body in the region of the contact section.
BEVERAGE CONTAINER
A beverage container includes a vessel and a stopper. The vessel includes a body with a neck portion. The body has an outer wall and an inner wall, and the neck portion defines an open end of the vessel body. The stopper selectively seals the open end of the vessel body in a closed, sealed position and selectively unseals of the open end of the vessel body in an open position. The stopper includes a body having an outer sidewall and a bottom wall. A seal is releasably connected to the body. The seal has a seal sidewall and a rim extending inwardly from the seal sidewall. The seal sidewall sealingly engages the outer sidewall and the rim sealingly overlaps the bottom wall. The outer sidewall together with the seal define an air pathway for the flow of ambient air into an interior of the vessel.
VACUUM STOPPER AND ASSEMBLY OF STOPPER AND CONTAINER
Vacuum stopper and assembly of stopper and container. There is disclosed a vacuum stopper (1) configured to be positioned into a neck (9) the neck of the bottle, the stopper comprising: a resilient shoulder (4) provided at an upper end of the elongated body (2), wherein the resilient shoulder is arranged for resting onto an upper side of the neck of the bottle; a stop ring (5) provided at an upper end of the elongated body above the resilient shoulder; a valve arranged (6) inside of the elongated body for allowing, in use, air to be sucked out of the container.
CONTAINER WITH TAPERED CONNECTOR
A hermetically sealed thermoplastic container or ampoule having a hollow body portion, a neck portion, unitary with the body portion and terminating in a circumferential, inwardly extending sealing flange, and a removable cap. The neck portion defines an access passageway to the hollow body portion a portion of which is configured as a tapered female connector adapted to receive a tapered male connector when the access passageway is open. The outer surface of the neck portion can be provided with lugs for engaging a tapered male connector with a threaded collar.
Press in flange container closure system
An insert for fitment to a container comprises an internally threaded, through-going opening adapted to receive a complementary, externally threaded plug to form a fluid-tight sealed closure for the container. The insert is preferably of plastics material and comprises an external recessed portion or groove shaped to snap-fittingly retain the insert installed in an aperture formed in the container. The aperture preferably comprises an upstanding collar snap-fitted into the groove for favorable installation, compression and energization of a sealing washer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DE-OXYGENATION OF A CLOSED CONTAINER
Systems and methods for preserving oxidizable substances such as liquids or foodstuffs are disclosed. These systems incorporate a sealing device and an oxygen scavenging chemical or agent coupleable to or contained within the system. The oxygen scavenging agent can remove the oxygen from the headspace of a container such as a bottle of wine without reducing the pressure in the headspace to the extent that the flavor of the wine is adversely affected.

Container lid composed of inside plug and lid body
A container lid is composed of a synthetic resin inside plug to be mounted on the mouth of a container, and a synthetic resin lid to be mounted on the inside plug. A breakable thin-walled line formed in a closing wall has an outer arcuate portion extending from a breakage start end portion, and an inner arcuate portion extending from the breakage start end portion, and defines an arcuate deformation region. A locked element is annexed to the deformation region, and a locking element is in the lid. When the lid is rotated in a predetermined direction, the locking element is locked to the locked element. When the lid is rotated further in the predetermined direction, a force is exerted on the deformation region via the locking element and the locked element, so that the breakable thin-walled line of the inside plug is broken and the deformation region is deformed.
VACUUM WINE BOTTLE STOPPER AND CAP, AND METHOD OF USE
A wine bottle stopper is provided including a vacuum stopper and a removable decorative cap. The wine stopper includes an upper portion and a lower portion. A central conduit extends longitudinally through the vacuum stopper, and a one-way valve is located within the central conduit. The vacuum stopper has a bottom shaft sized for insertion into a wine bottle's opening. The vacuum stopper's upper portion extends exterior to the wine bottle. Meanwhile, the decorative cap has a sidewall and a top forming a central cavity sized to engage and cover the wine stopper's upper portion. Preferably, the decorative cap includes a decorative feature providing a pleasing appearance.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DE-OXYGENATION OF A CLOSED CONTAINER
A de-oxygenation stopper configured to enable aging of an oxygen sensitive material such as wine contained within a vessel, while minimizing oxygen content within the vessel. The stopper includes an oxygen scavenging element configured to remove and/or neutralize oxygen molecules within the vessel, and a sealing element formed of one or more materials having tailored oxygen transmission rate(s) configured to enable the material to age at a desired rate.
