10370162 · 2019-08-06 · ·

The present invention relates to an assembly for the closure of a tube. The assembly includes a cap that includes a punch adapted to cut a seal. The seal is adapted to seal a neck of a tube head. The cap is configured to be fixed to the neck in a first position, known as the standby position, and a second position, known as the use position. The assembly also includes a ring movably fixed to the cap. The assembly is configured to allow the passage from an extended position, with the aim of the punch being protected by the ring in the standby position of the cap, to a retracted position, with the aim of the seal being pierced by the punch in the use position of the cap, a passage of the assembly from the extended position to the retracted position being effected by a sliding of the cap through the ring.

CONTAINER AND CLOSURE ASSEMBLY WITH PREDETERMINED HUMIDITY AND RELATED METHOD

A container assembly configured to maintain a predetermined humidity for storing a product therein. The container assembly includes a container having a body with a body wall and a mouth opening into a storage cavity and a cap having a top wall. The cap is selectively mountable over the mouth of the container to substantially enclose the storage cavity in a mounted configuration. A sidewall extends substantially perpendicularly from one of the body wall and the top wall. The sidewall defines an opening and a compartment and has an opening edge adjacent the opening. A moisture control material is positioned within the compartment. A sealing membrane has a peripheral portion. The peripheral portion is secured to the sidewall proximate the opening edge. The sealing membrane is configured to allow moisture flow therethrough to maintain the predetermined humidity in the storage cavity.

The metering device includes a metering container which can be fitted with screwing action on a standard bottle neck. The metering container has a funnel-shaped base, which is adjoined by a cylindrical lateral wall having, at the upper end, a cross-sectionally u-shaped collar, to which a cover surface can be applied in a form-fitting manner. At the top of the metering device is a pressure-exerting head with an encircling, detachable periphery. A puncturing mechanism having a two-part pressure-exerting pin can be actuated by the pressure-exerting head. The puncturing mechanism is fixed to the cover surface, prior to initial use, and is separated out of the cover surface by a cylindrical casing wall on the pressure-exerting head. The second part of the puncturing mechanism has a punching sleeve, which severs membranes which close the metering container, whereupon the contents of the metering container can be supplied into the bottle.

An apparatus for collecting and storing fluid samples from vehicles and machinery comprises a storage container having a fluid inlet sealed by a cap, the cap having an aperture releasably sealed by a lid. An adapter connects the cap releasably to a fluid outlet coupling port of a fluid sampling device. The adapter comprises a lumen, having an inlet and an outlet aperture, an external screw thread engageable with an internal screw thread of the coupling port and a connector assembly for connecting the adapter releasably to the cap. A penetrable diaphragm provides an airtight seal over a storage region of the storage container. When the adapter is connected to the coupling port and the cap is connected to the adapter, a fluid outlet tube extending from the coupling port extends through the aperture and protrudes through one or more perforations provided in the penetrable diaphragm into the storage region.
