Tamper evidence container closure
A container closure and methods are disclosed for providing visible evidence of removal of the closure from a container after installation by a manufacturer. The closure includes tamper evidence bridges comprising small tabs of material that extend from a bottom-most edge of the closure to a tamper evidence ledge of the container. The bridges break when the closure is rotated relative to the tamper evidence ledge, thereby providing readily visible evidence that the closure has been removed after installation by the manufacturer. In some embodiments, a tamper evidence closure engages with threads of a finish of the container. Cam locks around the perimeter of the tamper evidence closure are permanently flared by cams on the finish during loosening of the closure. Outward flaring of the cam locks provides a visual indication that the tamper evidence closure has been loosened after installation by a manufacturer.
Manufacturing method for metal cap
A metal cap in which a linear to be held to a cap body and separable from the cap body can be formed by a series of operations for forming the cap body and press molding the liner. The liner of the metal cap has a double-layer structure including a barrier layer on a top panel wall side and a sealing layer on the inner side of the cap body, and the barrier layer is temporarily bonded to the top panel wall with a weak adhesive at the time of molding the barrier layer and separated from the top panel wall by the natural cooling of the barrier layer after molding.
CLOSURE
A canister includes a closure configured to mount on a container to close an open mouth into a product storage region formed in the container. The closure includes a lid and a lid retainer coupled to the lid. The lid retainer is configured to mate with an external thread on the container to retain the closure in a mounted position on the container.
Synthetic resin cap for carbonated beverage-filled container, closure device, and beverage-containing closure device
A synthetic resin cap mounted on a lip section of a container filled with a carbonated beverage includes a top plate section and a cylindrical section extending downward from a circumferential edge of the top plate section. An annular inner seal projection fitted into the lip section and an outer seal projection abutting an outer surface of the lip section are formed at an inner surface of the top plate section. An annular abutting convex section abutting the inner surface of the lip section is formed at an outer surface of the inner seal projection. The outer seal projection has an inner surface having an inner diameter reduced toward a distal end, and a minimum inner diameter section, which is a lower end of the inner surface, abuts the outer surface of the lip section at a position spaced apart from an opening end section toward a container main body.
PAINT TESTER
Paint tester and methods of testing paint using the paint tester. The paint tester having a sealed receptacle containing paint, a foam applicator, and a seal cutter. The methods comprising rotating the seal cutter with respect to the receptacle until one or more teeth will cut into and break a seal on the receptacle, applying inward pressure to an exterior surface of a receptacle wall causing paint to flow from the receptacle through a channel exit of the receptacle, through a conduit defined in the seal cutter, out a conduit exit encircled by crenulations, through pores in the applicator, and onto an exterior surface of the applicator, and touching the exterior surface of the applicator to a surface upon which paint is desired.
Closure for container
A canister includes a closure configured to mount on a container to close an open mouth into a product storage region formed in the container. The closure includes a lid and a lid retainer coupled to the lid. The lid retainer is configured to mate with an external thread on the container to retain the closure in a mounted position on the container.
SPOUT ASSEMBLY AND PACKAGING CONTAINER HAVING THE SPOUT ASSEMBLY
A spout assembly includes a spout and a cap. The cap includes an inner ring having an outer peripheral surface provided with a first region with a first outer diameter and a second region with a second outer diameter. The spout includes a side wall having an inner peripheral surface provided with a first region having a first inner diameter and a second region having a second inner diameter. When the cap is threadably engaged with the spout, the first region of the inner ring is in close contact with the first region of the side wall of the spout throughout the circumference, and the second region of the inner ring is in close contact with the second region of the side wall of the spout throughout the circumference.
Cover cap with fitted gasket designed for sealing a metallic bottle
Disclosed is a metallic cover cap for sealing a metallic bottle, comprising a gasket provided with a flat central zone and an annular zone which includes an outer rim and an inner rim that are separated by a notch, such that the outer rim extends axially, continues circumferentially, and includes: a first surface; a second surface with a flat portion and a concave portion radially opposite the notch; and a third flat surface that extends between the first and second surfaces, and the inner rim extends axially, continues circumferentially and spaced radially inwards of the first rim, and includes: a first flat surface opposite and perpendicular to the flat zone; a second concave surface radially opposite the notch; and a third flat surface between the first and second surfaces that is inclined toward the notch.
End cap for cartridge-shaped receptacle
An end cap which is prepared for being fastened, especially attached, to an especially pipe socket-type connecting port of a cartridge-shaped receptacle and in a mounted state serves for sealing the connecting port, including a top surface portion, a shell surface portion being connected, especially perpendicularly and cylindrically, to the top surface portion, and a flange portion connected to the shell surface portion, the flange portion including and/or forming a sealing portion, by which the end cap can be fixed and sealed to the cartridge-shaped receptacle, and a predetermined breaking/tearing portion, at which the end cap tears and/or breaks in a predefined manner when the end cap is removed from the cartridge-shaped receptacle.
LIGHTWEIGHT POLYMERIC CONTAINER FINISH
A polymeric container including a base, a body, a finish, finish threads, and a tamper lip. The finish threads are at an outer surface of the finish, and are configured to cooperate with closure threads of a closure to secure the closure to the finish. The tamper lip extends from the outer surface of the finish, and is configured to replace the support flange during handling, and to cooperate with a tamper band of the closure. A recess is below the tamper lip. The recess retains the tamper band below the tamper lip when the closure is removed from cooperation with the finish. A gripper pad is between the finish threads and the tamper lip. The gripper pad is configured to cooperate with a gripper for grasping the finish.
