Shell with expandable rivet button and tooling therefor
A can end including a central panel with an expandable bubble disposed thereon is provided. The use of an expandable bubble allows for an expandable rivet button and thereafter an expandable rivet that has an enhanced overlap of a tab body. Such an expandable rivet allows for the use of a metal sheet with a thinner base thickness.
SECURITY CLOSURE SYSTEM AND DEVICES FOR CONTAINERS
The present invention relates to a security closure system and devices for containers, which can be used in any type of container and can be validated by means of simple sight and touch, thereby being tamper-resistant and preventing any adulteration by means of the non-authorised re-use of the original container. The system and devices are preferably used in containers made from vitreous materials such as ceramics, plastics and thermoplastics, owing to the properties of stiffness. The devices of the invention can be used for any product and any type of container, such as bottles for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, containers for cosmetics, perfumes, drugs, food and valuable items such as watches, electronics or fine jewelry.

CONTAINER WITH A ONE-PIECE CONTAINER BODY COMPRISING FIBERS AND A CLOSURE THEREFOR, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CONTAINER BODY, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLOSING A CONTAINER BODY BY MEANS OF A CLOSURE
The disclosure relates to a container having a one-piece container body comprising fibers and having a mouth opening and a closure for the container body. The closure is at least partially inserted in a closure position into the mouth opening, the closure, in cooperation with an inner surface of the mouth opening, being positioned in the mouth opening at least partially with a non-positive fit, the container body is thereby closed. The closure is also designed to be moved from the closure position to an open position completely outside the container body. The disclosure further relates to a method for manufacturing a container body and to a method for manufacturing a closure for use with the container, a device for closing a container body by a closure, and a method for closing a container body by a closure by the device.
Environmentally friendly can
An environmentally friendly can for containing a product includes a sealed container that contains the product and includes a polyester resin and a release mechanism to open the container and access the product. The polyester resin may be a furan resin selected from poly(ethylene 2, 5-furan dicarboxylate) (PEF), poly(butylene 2, 5-furan dicarboxylate) (PBF), poly(trim ethylene furan dicarboxylate) (PTF), poly(propylene 2, 5-furandicarboxylate) (PPF), and poly(neopentyl 2, 5-furandicarboxylate) (PNF); and/or a biodegradable polyester resin such as polyglycolic acid (PGA). The can may further include a generally cylindrical shell molded to have a sealed bottom and a straight wall that includes the resin; and a cap to seal the shell, the cap having the release mechanism and a rim that includes the resin; wherein the rim of the cap is bonded to the wall of the shell to releasably seal the product inside the can.
CAP FOR GLASS BOTTLES
The invention relates to a cap for glass bottles comprising a body with skirting with at least three cuts made from the outside to the inside of the body, wherein a core is provided with at least three reinforcement ribs and a first concave region or area that coincides with a second concave region or area is provided on the inside of the body, creating a chamber; and wherein said second concave region is integrated into a second body attached to the first body and wherein said second body comprises a flange having a plurality of cuts, whereas in the lower part thereof, said second body has a threaded area in which a plurality of lips are defined and in which reinforcement spokes are provided contiguously.
AIRTIGHT CONTAINER FOR POSITIVE PRESSURE BEVERAGE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR THE SAME
Provided is an airtight container for positive pressure beverage that has a cap which is able to improve airtightness. The airtight container for beverage is provided with a beverage container and a cap. The beverage container has a body portion and a flange. The flange is continuous with an upper portion of the body portion and defines an orifice. The cap is attached to the beverage container so as to seal the orifice. The cap has a liner and an exterior body. The liner has a thin liner portion for sealing a lower side portion of the flange and a thick liner portion for sealing an upper side portion of the flange. The exterior body is fixed to the flange so as to cover the liner from an outer side, in order to seal the orifice together with the liner. The exterior body presses the thin liner portion against the lower side portion of the flange and brings the thin liner portion in close contact therewith.
