TAMPER EVIDENT CAP FOR AN AEROSOL CAN
20250108961 · 2025-04-03 ·

Described herein is a tamper evident cap for an aerosol can. The tamper evident cap includes a sidewall and a top surface, the sidewall and the top surface define an inner cavity. The tamper evident cap includes a pair of opposing pads movably positioned relative to the sidewall and configured to release the tamper evident cap from the aerosol can. The tamper evident cap includes a pair of tabs positioned relative to the sidewall and outward relative to the pair of opposing pads, where each tab of the pair of tabs is positioned to restrict engagement with a corresponding pad of the pair of opposing pads, where each tab of the pair of tabs is at least partially removable from the sidewall.

Packaging assembly, including a bottle and a gasket-less closure for closing the neck of the bottle

A packaging assembly includes a bottle, which may be used upside-down such that a neck is turned towards the ground, and a closure without any added seal gasket for closing the neck. This closure includes a cap for obturating the neck, and a skirt for attachment to the neck. The cap includes an inner sealing lip, delimiting on its outer face, a convex tight bearing surface for bearing tightly against the inner face of the neck, and a substantially flat ramp surface, which connects the tight bearing surface to a lower axial end of the lip, and which, while the lip is deformed with the remainder of the closure when an inner clip of the skirt interferes with an outer bead of the neck during placement of the closure on the neck, may interfere with a free end of the neck to guide engagement of the lip inside the neck.

The present invention relates to a container cap and, more specifically, to: a container cap which is coupled to the mouth of a container in which contents are contained; and a container having same coupled thereto. The present invention provides a container cap comprising: a body part coupled to the mouth of a container in which contents are contained, and having an opening at the top thereof; a cover part coupled to the body part so as to open and close the top opening of the body part; and a separation part integrally connected to a first member, which is one of the body part and the cover part, by a first connection part, and integrally but detachably connected to a second member, which is the other of the body part and the cover part, by a second connection part, wherein the second connection part is detached by a user's manipulation so as to allow the cover part to be separated from the body part.

Tamper evident seal for a vial cover

A tamper evident seal structure for a vial septum or other cover having a housing including a sidewall terminating in oppositely disposed open and closed ends. A retainer is fixedly disposed within the housing and structured for retaining engagement with a portion of a vial, substantially adjacent the vial cover. The housing also includes a pressure member disposed within an interior thereof in attached, relation to the closed-end. The pressure member and the retainer are cooperatively disposed and structured to respectively exert pressure on the vial cover concurrent to retaining engagement with the vial. Tamper evident capabilities are at least partially defined by a detachment of a removable sidewall section from a remainder of said sidewall.

Lid-spout assembly for a package and package having a lid-spout assembly

A lid-spout assembly for a package having a main body comprising a designated pour opening and being filled with a pourable product. The lid-spout assembly comprises at least a spout having a pouring outlet, a lid configured to selectively close and open the pouring outlet and a tethering element tethering the lid to the spout and/or the main body. The spout comprises a base frame coupling and/or configured to couple the spout to the main body about the designated pour opening and a collar carrying and/or comprising the pouring outlet and being fixed to and protruding from the base frame. The lid is moveable at least in a closed position in which the lid closes and/or seals the pouring outlet and an open position in which the lid opens the pouring outlet. The lid comprises an interaction ridge being configured to interact with the collar so as to determine a closing force with the lid being arranged in the closed position for retaining the lid in the closed position.

All-plastic pouring spout and closure assembly

A securing ring is snap-fittingly engageable over and around an annular mounting flange of a foldable pouring spout in a container closure assembly, with a frangible connection between the securing ring and a spout closure member (e.g. a screw cap) intact. The assembled closure assembly is snap-fittingly engageable over and around a container neck which is received in a groove extending circumferentially about the mounting flange. The groove is defined in part by a radially outer wall having a proximal portion lying towards the pouring end of the spout and a distal end portion lying away from the pouring end of the spout. The radially outer wall comprises a central flexure zone of reduced radial width relative to the proximal and distal end portions, whereby the distal end portion is hingeingly deflectable between a radially outer position for extraction of the spout from a mold tool, and a radially inner position for engagement in an annular undercut in a radially outer surface of the container neck. When the securing ring is snap-fittingly engaged over and around the mounting flange, the distal end portion is held in the radially inner position. The distal end portion comprises a chamfer at its radially inner side and which extends radially inwards towards the pouring end of the spout for guiding the closure assembly into snap-fitting engagement with the container neck.

Snap Cap with Tamper Evidence

A closure with a top panel, a skirt extending downward and away from the top panel, frangible connections that connect the skirt to a tamper band. The frangible connections provide a visual indication, when broken, that the closure has been opened. The closure includes a cap and a base that remain coupled via a hinge after the frangible connections are broken.
