The invention may also have a third cap to provide a child-resistance cap assembly. Alternately, the cap assembly may comprise a removable insert with a triangular opening that fits into a mouth of the pill bottle.

A closure is provided for a container. The closure includes a base having a substantially cylindrical shape with a recessed area along a top perimeter of the base. The closure also includes a lid configured to close over and open off of the base. The closure further includes a tab that extends from a lower surface of the lid and includes a lip portion configured to fold back onto the tab and lock with the base when the lid is closed over the base. The tab detaches from the lid when opening the lid from the base after the lip portion is folded back onto the tab. A portion of the outer surface of the tab is visible through the at least one recessed area after the lid is closed over the base and remains partially visible after the tab has detached from the lid.

Closure caps

A cap for a container closure or closure plug includes a cap top having a top surface and a bottom surface, and an attachment ring extending axially downward from the bottom surface of the cap top under a central portion of the cap top. The attachment ring is securingly engageable with a container closure or closure plug. The attachment ring includes a cam surface extending radially outward from the attachment ring, where the cam surface deflects the attachment ring radially inward upon engagement of the attachment ring with the container closure or closure plug. The cap top and the attachment ring are connected by at least one frangible connection and at least one permanent connection, where the at least one permanent connection retains the cap top in one piece upon breaking of the at least one frangible connection for removal of the cap from the container closure or closure plug.

Closure caps

A cap for a container closure or closure plug includes a cap top having a top surface and a bottom surface, and an attachment ring extending axially downward from the bottom surface of the cap top under a central portion of the cap top. The attachment ring is securingly engageable with a container closure or closure plug. The attachment ring includes a cam surface extending radially outward from the attachment ring, where the cam surface deflects the attachment ring radially inward upon engagement of the attachment ring with the container closure or closure plug. Sealing cap

The present document describes a cap (110) for closing a container (114), the container having a neck (112) with an upper edge (118) defining a discharge opening (116). The cap comprises a lid (122) and a seal gasket (136) for sealingly engaging the neck of the container. The lid has at least one inwardly extending projection (132) for supporting the seal gasket.

Container

A container (10) to dispense a liquid such as sauce. The container (1.0) has a resilient deformable body (11) that may be compressed to dispense the liquid from the interior (55) of the body (11). Mounted on the body (11) is a cap (37) that is movable along a path (axis 13) between a closed position and an open position. In the open position the upper opening (38) is open to allow the liquid to be dispensed. Preferably the path is linear.
