CONTAINER FOR PRODUCE STORAGE, PACKING & TRANSPORT
A tamper evident food container is provided. The container comprises a base hingedly connected to a lid. The lid includes an outer raised portion having an integrally connected inner recessed portion formed therein, wherein the inner recessed portion includes a peelable flap portion partially detachable from the inner recessed portion for lifting the peelable flap upwardly from the inner recessed portion; an upper flange extending perpendicularly outward from a perimeter of the lid and having a connecting member located between extending latching portions extending outwardly from the upper flange and adapted for being received in the two latch receiving openings; and a tab connected to the peelable flap portion on a first end and detachably connected to the connecting member on a second end, where the tab is configured for pushing inward to detach the second end from the connecting member allowing the peelable flap portion to be lifted upwardly.
Tamper resistant assembly for securing valuable material
The invention provides a tamper resistant assembly that that securely contains a valuable material. The assembly has a container for holding the valuable material, an optional carrier that contains the container, one or more cover components that enclose the valuable material in the container, and one or more labels having a plurality of devices that reveal tampering by distortion of at least one of the plurality of devices. The label(s) are positioned so that dislodging a cover component causes a detectable distortion in at least one of the plurality of devices, thereby revealing tampering with the assembly. In one embodiment the label can be affixed partially to a surface of a cover component and partially to a surface of the container or the optional carrier. Also disclosed are methods of detecting tampering and method of manufacturing a temper-resistant assembly. Because the assembly allows a remote validator to validate the assembly prior to providing essential instructions or authorization for conducting procedures on valuable material contained by the assembly, the manufacturer is assured that its procedures are being provided only to authorized persons.
HINGED TOP CONTAINER WITH TAMPER EVIDENT FEATURE
Various embodiments include a tamper evident container including a container base, a lid, and a tamper evident tab. The container base may include an inner chamber for holding one or more added substances and a container opening for accessing the inner chamber from outside the container base. The lid may be sized to securely close the container opening. The lid may prevent access to the inner chamber through the container opening from outside the container base without at least partially removing the lid from the container opening. The tamper evident tab may be pivotally secured to the lid and attached to the container base. Separation of the tamper evident tab from the container base may provide an indication that the tamper evident container has been opened.
Drinking vessel monitor
A drinking vessel monitor in the form of a lid with a protective disc of rigid material and a depending skirt. A key operated mechanical linkage is connected to contact members underlying the protective disc. Springs cause the contact members to pivot outwardly upon removal of the lid from a drinking vessel. Without the key to operate the mechanical linkage, the contact members hidden within the skirt cannot be retracted sufficiently to place the lid back on the drinking vessel. Optionally, an electrical circuit can be added with a signal generator which generates a visual or audible signal if tampering has occurred.
CHILD-RESISTANT CONTAINERS
A container includes a lid having a peripheral flange which defines a lifting tab. The container includes a base having an upper peripheral rim. A bend line is formed in a surface of the base to define a bendable portion of the base. The bendable portion of the base receives and limits access to the lifting tab when the container is closed. A container includes a lid having a peripheral flange which defines a lifting tab. The lifting tab has a top surface and a bottom surface. The lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from the bottom surface of the lifting tab. The container includes a base. The base has an aperture formed in a portion of the base to receive the protrusion of the lid when the container is closed.
Hinged closure device with first opening indicator
A closure device includes a first part forming a fastening base for fastening to the container neck and having at least one peripheral fastening groove and a second part forming a lid, a fastening ring defining a reference geometrical axis, and a hinge connecting the fastening ring to the lid for guiding the lid relative to the fastening ring between a closed position and an open position, the fastening ring being engaged by snap-in action into the fastening groove of the first part. The second part additionally also forms a first-opening indicator and a frangible connection between the first-opening indicator and a peripheral rim flange of the lid, a free space being maintained in the axial direction between the fastening ring and the first-opening indicator in the closed position prior to the first opening, the first-opening indicator being retained by at least one lock zone of the first part so as to be separated from the lid and drop into the free space upon the first opening.
Lock for ball display case
A lock for a ball display case includes a plate having a plurality of recessed areas spaced radially about the plate. A plurality of posts extend away from the plate in a direction generally perpendicular to the plate. Each post is in general radial alignment with one of the recessed areas of the plate and spaced radially inward from the recessed area. The lock has frangible portions connecting the posts to the plate. The lock is suitable for engagement with a ball display case in a manner that limits access to an object in the display case. The lock is suitable for use by professional graders and/or authenticators to prevent tampering after the object has been graded and/or authenticated and then locked in the display case.
TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER WITH A TABBED HINGE
A tamper-evident container includes a base and a lid. A base extension and a lid extension are connected to a hinge to join the base and the lid together in a closed, pre-use configuration. A tab extends from either the lid extension or the base extension in a direction away from the lid and the base such that the tab extends beyond the hinge. The tab is joined to one of the extensions via weakened regions that can be torn when the tab is pulled to indicate that the container has been tampered with or opened.
Cup
A disposable cup has a tamper evident removable membrane secured at or near a rim of an open end of the cup so as to seal off the interior surface of the cup. The membrane is cup-shaped and has a radially-extending rim corresponding to a radially-extending rim of the cup, a substantially axially-extending sleeve corresponding to an inner-side surface of the cup and a radially extending disc-shaped base substantially spanning the diameter of the cup. The cup further includes a plurality of compartments in an operatively bottom region thereof, which are at least partially filled with a consumable product. The bottom region of the cup is at least partially deformable under externally applied force to facilitate dislodgement of the consumable product from the compartments.
Child-resistant containers
The present disclosure is directed to a child-resistant container which includes a lid having a peripheral flange which defines a lifting tab having top and bottom surfaces. The lid includes a protrusion extending downwardly from the bottom surface of the lifting tab. The container includes a base having an upper peripheral rim and a surface formed in a corner portion of the base between two adjacent sides of the base. The surface includes an aperture to receive the downwardly extending protrusion of the lid when the container is closed forming a child-resistant opening mechanism. The surface is uninterrupted but for the aperture.
