A storage box includes a compartment having a base and opposed sidewalls extending from the base. Each sidewall of the opposed sidewalls includes two first retaining surfaces extend away from the base and along the sidewall where the first retaining surfaces are a first distance away from each other. Each sidewall includes two parallel second retaining surfaces extending away from the first retaining surfaces and along the sidewall. The second retaining surfaces are a second distance away from each other and the second distance is greater than the first distance. The storage box includes a rod, and support surfaces associated with each sidewall of the first pair of opposed sidewalls are configured to support the rod.

The base has a base rim forming a base channel including a bottom wall, an inner sidewall, and an outer sidewall to define a channel space, a lock projection extending into the channel space from a first portion of the base rim, and a lever projection extending substantially outwardly from a second portion of the base rim. The lid has a lid rim forming a lid channel including a bottom wall, an inner sidewall, and an outer sidewall. The lid has a closed position in which the lid channel is aligned with and disposed at least partially within the channel space. The lever projection is configured to pivot upon application of an external force to cause the lock projection to move out from the channel space and to urge at least a portion of the lid rim out of the base channel.

Lid for container
A lid for a container is described. The lid has a basin that is designed to enhance the user's olfactory experience when drinking a beverage from the container and lid. As the user tilts the container and lid to take a drink, the beverage pours through an opening on the basin valley and flows across a sipping surface area to the user's mouth, thus allowing the beverage to aerate, evaporate, and cool. The basin is sized and dimensioned to channel and concentrate the vapor rising from the beverage towards the user's nose as the user sips the beverage. The basin and the opening are sized and dimensioned to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when drinking hot beverages. In this manner, the lid enhances the drinker's olfactory experience and provides better controllability of the flow of a hot beverage to prevent burn injuries.

A packaging is disclosed for a powdered material comprising a tub for receiving the material, the tub having a base and a peripheral wall with a top edge; an outer sleeve around at least the peripheral wall of the tub, thereby supporting the tub; a removable membrane for separating the powdered material in the tub from the environment; and a lid assembly comprising a peripheral rim for connection over the top edge of the peripheral wall of the tub and defining a wide access opening and a lid, hingedly attached to the rim for reclosing the access opening.
Furthermore, a method of manufacturing a package for a powdered material is disclosed, comprising sliding the tub in the sleeve, such that at least the peripheral wall of the tub is enclosed by the sleeve, whereby the sleeve supports the tub and the tub and sleeve form a container for the powdered material.
Container construction for powdered material
A packaging is disclosed for a powdered material comprising a tub for receiving the material, the tub having a base and a peripheral wall with a top edge; an outer sleeve around at least the peripheral wall of the tub, thereby supporting the tub; a removable membrane for separating the powdered material in the tub from the environment; and a lid assembly comprising a peripheral rim for connection over the top edge of the peripheral wall of the tub and defining a wide access opening and a lid, hingedly attached to the rim for reclosing the access opening.
Furthermore, a method of manufacturing a package for a powdered material is disclosed, comprising sliding the tub in the sleeve, such that at least the peripheral wall of the tub is enclosed by the sleeve, whereby the sleeve supports the tub and the tub and sleeve form a container for the powdered material.

To provide a container and a package configured to prevent a deformation of housed metal. According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided the container. This container includes a cylindrical container body, a lid, and a flat plate-shaped inner plug. The cylindrical container body with a bottom has a sidewall and a bottom wall. The lid has a flat plate portion and a side portion. The flat plate portion covers an opening of the container body. The side portion covers at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the container body. The flat plate-shaped inner plug is located inside the lid. The container body includes a thread ridge on the outer peripheral surface. The side portion of the lid has a screw groove with two or more threads on its inner peripheral surface. The lid is configured to be screwed with the container body by screwing the screw groove with the thread ridge. A plurality of lock portions are disposed on an outer periphery of the lid. The screw groove has the threads by a count identical to a count of the lock portions. The inner plug is held to an inside of the lid by each of the lock portions fitted into each inside of the screw grooves.

To provide a container and a package configured to prevent a deformation of housed metal. According to one aspect of the present invention, there is provided the container. This container includes a cylindrical container body, a lid, and a flat plate-shaped inner plug. The cylindrical container body with a bottom has a sidewall and a bottom wall. The lid has a flat plate portion and a side portion. The flat plate portion covers an opening of the container body. The side portion covers at least a part of an outer peripheral surface of the container body. The flat plate-shaped inner plug is located inside the lid. The container body includes a thread ridge on the outer peripheral surface. The side portion of the lid has a screw groove with two or more threads on its inner peripheral surface. The lid is configured to be screwed with the container body by screwing the screw groove with the thread ridge. A plurality of lock portions are disposed on an outer periphery of the lid. The screw groove has the threads by a count identical to a count of the lock portions. The inner plug is held to an inside of the lid by each of the lock portions fitted into each inside of the screw grooves.
