Container and Seal Assembly
The present disclosure relates generally to container systems comprising a container, a container ring, and a container lid. In one or more embodiments, the disclosed container systems use novel designs to provide a liquid-tight seal without the use of gaskets or adhesives. For example, in several embodiments, the container attaches to the container ring, and the container ring attaches to the container lid via a snap-fit assembly to facilitate reduced seams and increased sealing capability without the use of adhesives or additional sealing materials or components.

ASSEMBLY COMPRISING A CONTAINER AND A LID INTENDED TO CLOSE THE CONTAINER
The present disclosure relates to an assembly comprising a lid including a covering part and a fixing part including a U-shaped skirt having a first wall proximal to the covering part, a second wall distal to the covering part, and a third wall connecting the first wall and the second wall so as to form a housing including a first zone extending between the first wall and the middle of the third wall and a second zone extending between the middle of the third wall and the second wall, the lid including a seal arranged in the first zone of the housing only, a container, and a deformation rib configured to deform a part of the seal when the lid is mounted on the container.
Containment system and adaptive sealing systems therefore with collapsible feature and methods for operating the same
A containment system includes a bounded container having a shaped rim region and a sealing multi-hinged lid system engaging respective rim regions and respective closing lid members. Optionally, the wall sections are collapsible and a rim-lid interface and a lid-lid interface are discontinuous to aid sealing. Optionally, a sliding lock function is provided to enhance positive lid closure. An alternative interfitting arrangement provides a positive compressive urging proximate respective contact regions where the lids and the shaped rim interfit, and between lids, to provide air and moisture resistance to the containment system.

Locking Lid and Container Assembly with Manufacturing Method
A container assembly maximizes lid-to-container retention or prevents inadvertent removal of a lid from a container, and includes a container and a lid. The container includes an upper rim and a container wall. The container wall includes a seam and a primary indentation. The indentation traverses the seam at an inner container surface in parallel relation to the rim. The lid comprising a rim-receiving groove, a lid wall, and a wall-to-groove resilient portion. The resilient portion extends intermediate the lid wall and the rim-receiving groove and is resiliently actuable intermediate a relaxed configuration and an actuated configuration. The resilient portion has at least one indentation-engaging portion. The rim-receiving groove receives the upper container rim, and the indentation-engaging portion engages indentation when in the actuated configuration. The rim-receiving groove and the indentation-engaging portion together lock the container lid to the container when in the actuated configuration for cooperatively maximizing lid-to-container retention.
Package
A package includes a lid adapted to mate with the brim of a container. An interior chamber of the package is bounded by the container and the lid when the lid is mounted on the container brim.

Lid with nose accommodations
Lids with nose accommodations configured to reduce the need for a consumer to tilt his or her head during consumption of a beverage. In one aspect, a lid assembly includes a pivotable flap that pivots relative to a lid (and beverage container) as the container is tilted toward the beverage consumer. The configuration of the lid is such that it creates a clearance for a consumer's nose, thus enabling the container to be tilted back further without impacting the consumer's nose. In another configuration, the pivotable flap is biased toward a closed position, but is easily displaced by the consumer's nose. In another lid configuration, a cavity is formed toward a rear portion and the lid is sized and shaped to accommodate a consumer's nose. Disposable lids are also provided, including a lid with an aperture toward the rear of the lid with a cover that may be peeled back or removed and a lid with a perforated floor that is configured to enable the consumer to create a flap and/or aperture toward the rear of the lid.
Lid for container
A lid for a container is described. The lid has a basin that is designed to enhance the user's olfactory experience when drinking a beverage from the container and lid. As the user tilts the container and lid to take a drink, the beverage pours through an opening on the basin valley and flows across a sipping surface area to the user's mouth, thus allowing the beverage to aerate, evaporate, and cool. The basin is sized and dimensioned to channel and concentrate the vapor rising from the beverage towards the user's nose as the user sips the beverage. The basin and the opening are sized and dimensioned to provide a comfortable and secure feeling when drinking hot beverages. In this manner, the lid enhances the drinker's olfactory experience and provides better controllability of the flow of a hot beverage to prevent burn injuries.
