REFLECTIVE VIDEO DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR INTERACTIVE TRAINING AND DEMONSTRATION AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A smart mirror can show live or recorded streaming video of an instructor performing a workout in a package that is attractive and unobtrusive enough to hang in a living room. The smart mirror includes a mirror surface with a fully reflecting section and a partially reflecting section. A display behind the partially reflecting section shows the video when the smart mirror is on and is almost invisible when the smart mirror is off. The smart mirror also has a speaker, a microphone, and a camera to enable a user to view the video content and interact with the instructor. The smart mirror may connect to the user's smart phone, a peripheral device (e.g., a Bluetooth speaker) to augment user experience, a biometric sensor to provide biometric data to assess user performance, and/or a network router to connect the smart mirror to a content provider, an instructor, and/or other users.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN TELEMEDICINE-ENABLED HARDWARE TO OPTIMIZE REHABILITATIVE ROUTINES CAPABLE OF ENABLING REMOTE REHABILITATIVE COMPLIANCE
A computer-implemented system comprising a treatment apparatus, a patient interface, and a processing device is disclosed. The processing device is configured to receive treatment data pertaining to the user during the telemedicine session, wherein the treatment data comprises one or more characteristics of the user; determine, via one or more trained machine learning models, at least one respective measure of benefit one or more exercise regimens provide the user, wherein the determining the respective measure of benefit is based on the treatment data; determine, via the one or more trained machine learning models, one or more probabilities of the user complying with the one or more exercise regimens; and transmit the treatment plan to a computing device, wherein the treatment plan is generated based on the one or more probabilities and the respective measure of benefit the one or more exercise regimens provide the user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR USE OF TELEMEDICINE-ENABLED REHABILITATIVE HARDWARE AND FOR ENCOURAGING REHABILITATIVE COMPLIANCE THROUGH PATIENT-BASED VIRTUAL SHARED SESSIONS WITH PATIENT-ENABLED MUTUAL ENCOURAGEMENT ACROSS SIMULATED SOCIAL NETWORKS
In one embodiment, a computer-implemented system includes a treatment apparatus configured to be manipulated by a user while performing an exercise session, patient interfaces associated with users, and a server computing device configured to receive treatment data pertaining to the user, determine whether at least one characteristic of the user matches at least one second characteristic of a second user, where the second user belonging to a cohort. Responsive to determining the at least one characteristic of the user matches the at least one second characteristic of the second user, the server computing device is configured to assign the user to the cohort and select, via a trained machine learning model, a treatment plan for the user. Responsive to transmitting a signal to the patient interfaces of users in the cohort, the server computing device enables the patient interfaces to establish the virtual shared session between the patient interfaces.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR IMPLEMENTING DYNAMIC TREATMENT ENVIRONMENTS BASED ON PATIENT INFORMATION
A system that comprises a memory device storing instructions, and a processing device communicatively coupled to the memory device. The processing device executes the instructions to: receive user data obtained from records associated with a user; generate a modified treatment plan based on the user data; and send, to a treatment apparatus accessible to the user, the modified treatment plan, wherein the modified treatment plan causes the treatment apparatus to update at least one operational aspect of the treatment apparatus, and update at least one operational aspect of at least one other device communicatively coupled to the treatment apparatus.
Video rebroadcasting with multiplexed communications and display via smart mirrors
During a first time period and for a first user, a second user is automatically selected based on competitive data of the first user and competitive data of the second user, and a workout selection is sent to cause a video of a workout to be displayed during a second time period on a smart mirror of the first user and a smart mirror of the second user. During the second time period, a live stream of the first user exercising is displayed at the smart mirror of the second user, and a live stream of the second user exercising is received and displayed at the smart mirror of the first user. During the second time period, a performance score of the first user and a performance score of the second user is displayed at the smart mirrors of the first user and the second user.
Activities Data Modeling In Human Internet-Of-Things Platforms
A method performed in a computer-implemented platform includes obtaining sensor data from sensors embedded in a first grip and a second grip of an item of fitness equipment while a user exercises using the item of fitness equipment. The user interacts with the first grip and the second grip while exercising using the item of fitness equipment. The method also includes analyzing the sensor data to determine differences in performance between the left side of the user's body and the right side of the user's body and providing personalized activity for the user to compensate for the differences.
PRINTABLE ELECTRONIC GARMENT CONDUIT
An athletic garment includes sensors at different locations of the garment. The sensors are electrically coupled to a processing unit and/or a power source via one or more conduits that are printed onto the garment. The conduits are designed for improved flexibility to accommodate stretching in the garment that occurs as a user wearing the garment performs an exercise and for improved durability to resist corrosion due to friction, sweat, or washing of the garment. In one embodiment, the conduits are designed for decreased stress concentrations at seams of the garment. In one embodiment, the conduits are designed to create a conductive pathway between different surfaces of the garment to electrically couple sensors on a first side (skin side) of the garment and a processing unit and/or a power source on a second side (outer side) of the garment.
