EXERCISE TRAINING SYSTEM
A training system, kit, and method including a weighted wearable equipment, e.g. gloves, having a sensor (e.g. accelerometers, gyroscopes, photoelectric sensors, position sensors, tilt sensors, pressure sensors, temperature sensors, blood pressure sensors, heart rate monitors, and SpO2 sensors) and including a weight enhancement (e.g. weight bodies in closed pockets); a non-weighted wearable equipment of the same type as the weighted wearable equipment, the non-weighted wearable equipment having a sensor and. not including a weight enhancement; and a training application in functional communication with each of the weighted wearable equipment and the non-weighted wearable equipment and having a data processor that includes instructions for: analyzing data received from the sensor of each of the weighted wearable equipment and the non-weighted wearable equipment and generating predictive information derived from exercise training data from the sensors.
Back-filling of geolocation-based exercise routes
Techniques for automatic tracking of user data for exercises are disclosed. In one aspect, a method of operating a wearable device may involve determining that a user of the wearable device has started an exercise, activating the GPS receiver in response to determining that the user has started the exercise, and detecting a time at which the GPS receiver achieves an initial GPS fix of a location of the wearable device. The method may further involve logging, based on output of the one or more biometric sensors, a first set of user data during a first time interval between the start of the exercise and the detected time of the initial GPS fix, and back-filling an exercise route of the user during the first time interval based on the first set of user data.
TRAINING INSTRUMENT AND INPUT DEVICE
A non-limiting example training instrument comprises a hollow main body formed of an aluminum alloy. The main body is constituted by two gripping portions opposite to each other with a space therebetween and a coupling portion coupling the two gripping portions. A load sensor is arranged in the coupling portion inside the main body. The load sensor is a load cell, a strain gauge affixed to an interior of the main body, and a part of the main body to which the strain gauge is affixed functions as a strain body. Therefore, if a user applies a force so as to bring the two gripping portions close to each other or a force so as to move the two gripping portions away from each other, a load thereof is detected by the load sensor.
Exercise equipment and exercise equipment set
Provided is Exercise equipment including a gripping section that is gripped by a user; a weight section that is connected to the gripping section; a first electrode that is arranged on the gripping section; a second electrode that is arranged on the weight section; a measuring section that measures at least one of body fat percentage of the user and an electrocardiogram waveform of the user, using the first electrode and the second electrode.
INTERACTIVE EXERCISE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, an exercise device can include a body configured to be gripped by a user, wherein the body is configured to be used for exercise, at least one sensor attached to the body and configured to sense a motion, position, and/or orientation of the body, and at least one controller configured to receive sensor signals from the sensor and to send sensor signals or data to a remote computer. The body can be an exercise bar or any other suitable shape.
WEARABLE RESISTANCE DEVICE WITH POWER MONITORING
Disclosed is a technical training garment configured for use with modular, interchangeable biomechanics units and or resistance modules. The garment may provide resistance to movement throughout an angular range of motion and or tracks a variety of biomechanical parameters such as stride length, stride rate, angular velocity and power expended by the wearer. The garment may be low profile, and worn by a wearer as a primary garment or beneath or over conventional clothing or athletic uniform. The device may be worn as a supplemental training and or diagnostic tool during conventional training protocols, or as a biomechanics or biometric data capture device during competition.
Foot-therapy and toe-aligning device
Described is an exercise tool. More particularly, it is a therapy and exercise tool specifically devised as a foot-therapy and toe-aligning device to align, separate, and stretch toes. The foot-therapy and toe-aligning device comprises a frame with a plurality of posts connected with the frame. The device is formed of an elastic material such that a user may place at least one of the plurality of posts between a user's toes and pull the post to stretch and elongate the post between the toes. Upon release, the elastic material of the post causes the post to attempt to return to its original shape, thereby causing it to expand out and conform its shape to fit snugly against the user's toes. Additionally, the elastic material allows the toe posts to be positioned and maintained at numerous locations between the user's toes for customizable positioning between the toes.
Adaptive Athletic Activity Prescription Systems
Systems and methods for prescribing athletic activity to be performed by a user, and for adapting the prescribed athletic activity based on completed (e.g. ongoing) athletic performances by the user. A coaching plan may be automatically created that prescribes personalized athletic activities as a user trains towards a goal date. The athletic information may be received from one or more sensor devices associated with a user, and the coaching plan may be continuously or intermittently updated based on the received sensor data.
PORTABLE PHYSIOLOGY MONITOR
Wearable devices capable of measuring a core body temperature and other vital signs of a user in a range of situations are described herein. The wearable device is arranged to be retained within the ear canal of the ear, in order to prevent the wearable device from inadvertently removing itself from the ear. Providing an infrared thermopile at the innermost end of the ear insert ensures that the infrared thermopile is provided as close as possible to the tympanic membrane which will be used to provide an indication of the core body temperature.
