An extruded spring strap that has the possibility to be folded around an axis parallel to its own axis of extrusion, creating the compression and release as of a spring. A base has a reach-in hole on its body. The lid is the base's capping object; it is designed to cover the reach-in hole. A spring strap clip allows the extension of the spring strap during the closing motion of the lid. The spring strap and the spring strap clip assembled to the lid and base. An area of hot melt fills a cavity on the spring clip ensuring proper position for the spring clip during usage and no disassembly. The extruded spring strap can store and release energy in order to displace the lid. The retention latch is the user interface on which he acts in order to have the lid pop-up.

A storage container can include a bottom surface and one or more sides that extend up from the bottom surface to define a storage area. The storage container can also include a lid rotatably coupled to at least one of the sides and can be moved from a closed position, preventing or limiting access to the storage area, to an open position, allowing access. The storage container can also include a work surface rotatably coupled to a bottom side of the lid. When the lid is opened, the work surface is rotated into a substantially horizontal position providing a planar top surface to work on. The storage container can also include a leg support assembly that is rotatably coupled to one or more of the side walls of the storage container and can be adjusted into a support position to provide vertical support for a portion of the work surface.

A storage box includes a box body having an opening, an upper cover and a side cover. The upper cover has an upper cover body covering removably an upper opening portion of the opening of the box body, a waterproof segment connected to a portion of a periphery of the upper cover body, and two pivot segments connected respectively to opposite ends of the waterproof segment. A storage box includes a box body having an opening, an upper cover and a side cover. The upper cover has an upper cover body covering removably an upper opening portion of the opening of the box body, a waterproof segment connected to a portion of a periphery of the upper cover body, and two pivot segments connected respectively to opposite ends of the waterproof segment. Presented is a closure assembly and a method for opening. The closure assembly includes a body, the body defining an opening and a body locking portion, and a lid, the lid moveably affixed to the body and comprising a lid locking portion, the lid locking portion configured to engage the body locking portion to releasably lock the lid in the closed position. The closure assembly also includes a hinge, the hinge being affixed to the lid and the body, the hinge configured to move the lid from a closed position occluding the opening of the body to an open position permitting passage through the opening, the hinge further configured to urge the lid into the open position, and at least one spring member.

A lid-spout assembly for a package having a main body including a designated pour opening. The lid-spout assembly includes at least a spout having a pouring outlet, a lid configured to selectively close and open the pouring outlet and being controllable between at least a closed position and an open position, a tethering element tethering the lid to the spout, a retaining group configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position. The retaining group includes at least a support portion being configured to be positioned within the main body and an interaction portion being configured to interact with the tethering element and/or the lid for retaining the lid in the open position and connected to the support portion and being configured to extend away from the main body.

The present invention provides a packaging assembly for packaging one or more articles, comprising: an inner body part which defines at least one inner compartment to receive an article; an outer body part that at least partially encompasses the inner body part; and a cover member which is movable between a closed position to prevent access to the at least one inner compartment and an open position to permit access to the at least one inner compartment; wherein the outer body part is movable relative to the inner body part between a first position and a second position to move the cover member between the closed position and the open position.

A breathing assistance apparatus has a lid and latch assembly configured for one-handed operation. The apparatus also includes a hinge assembly that separates when over-rotated but that reengages upon closing of the lid onto the main body of the apparatus.
