BEVERAGE LID
20180064271 · 2018-03-08 ·

Embodiments provide a beverage lid including an upper lid surface, a fluid exit port positioned at least in part in the upper lid surface, a vertical lid surface in contact with the upper lid surface and an anti-splash component in contact with at least one of the upper lid surface and vertical lid surface and positioned substantially between a fluid and the fluid exit. In the event of the fluid splashing, the anti-splash component substantially prevents fluid from exiting the lid through the fluid exit, and in the event of a user drinking from the fluid exit, the fluid moves around the anti-splash component and out the fluid exit.

Anti-glug device for liquid containers and pour spouts

A lid for a liquid container has a lid wall with a perimeter, a top side surface, and an underside surface. The lid has an anti-glug device carried on the lid wall and positioned to coincide with a dispensing orifice in the lid wall. The anti-glug device has a channel that partly circumferentially surrounds the dispensing orifice. Terminal ends of the channel define a circumferential gap therebetween. One or more air vents are formed axially through a part of the channel and are disposed circumferentially opposite the circumferential gap.

SYSTEMS, METHODS, AND APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING A SUBSTANCE BETWEEN CONTAINERS
20180044063 · 2018-02-15 ·

Systems, apparatus, and methods are disclosed for transferring a substance into an open top container. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to systems, apparatus, and methods to reduce splashing, splattering, and/or spillage while transferring a fluid from one container to another.

CONTAINER CLOSURE SYSTEM

The container system having a container and a screw-on cap that may that may be screwed onto the container and having an olive that is molded onto the screw-on cap and that is positioned against an annular edge area of the container opening is characterized in that the olive is molded onto the screw-on cap such that it fits against the exterior annular edge area of the container in a sealing manner, and in that the outer annular edge area has a continuously smooth surfaces.

SUBSTANTIVELY HERMETICALLY SEALING CONTAINER
20180016055 · 2018-01-18 ·

A container that seals in a volume of material is provided. The container may be routinely opened, closed and material may be removed or added. A removable plate and a base define a maximum volume available for material when the container is sealed. A screen may be disposed between the plate and the base. The screen may optionally be comprised within the base, adhered to the base, or removable from the base. Features for enabling manipulation of the plate and/or screen are optionally provided.

Container, closure, and methods for manufacture

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods provided herein are useful for dispensing a fluid, such as a thixotropic fluid. In some embodiments, a bottle having a closure cap includes a flip top, a base, and a disk, where the base and disk define a mixing chamber configured to facilitate mixing of any serum or liquid separated from the fluid back therein. In some configurations, the base has a central opening through which the fluid exits and an internal shaft with a non-planar end surface opposite the central opening. In some configurations, the non-planar end surface and the disk define channels between the mixing chamber and the internal shaft. In some embodiments, the disk includes a central opening, a plurality of partial annular openings through a planar surface of the disk, and projections extending into the mixing chamber.

CONTAINER CLOSURE AND CONTAINER

The invention relates to a container and to a container closure (100). The container closure (100) comprises a main body (1) for fastening to a container, and a metering unit (2) for the metered dispensing of a liquid. The metering unit (2) has a metering body (4) comprising a discharge opening (21), and has a channel (22) adjoining the discharge opening (21). The channel (22) extends in the direction of the container and forms, together with the metering unit (2), an annular groove (23). A metering cap (3) is arranged on the metering unit (2). A metering cap (3) closes the annular groove (23) to form an annular volume (V). The annular volume (V) is connected to a buffer volume (27) by a first opening (24) and to the channel (22) by a second opening (25). The first opening (24) and the second opening are arranged such that any liquid that flows from the first opening (24) to the second opening (25) passes through the annular volume (V), at least along a portion of the annular volume (V), in a direction around the channel (22).

A decanter stopper having a hollow, main cylinder body. A protuberance in the form of a notched H-shaped insert extends from the proximal end of the main cylinder body. Curved side walls are disposed at each opposing end of the H-shaped insert. Two channels are formed in the insert between the curved side walls.

Multi-flow plug

A plug formed with a cylindrical body having at its bottom side a horizontal partition with a diametrical slit connecting two different surface holes located at the ends of the mentioned horizontal partition, and a mechanism for fixation to the container. The top of the plug has a pouring area formed by a circular section with an outwardly projected rim. The plug is suitable for use by blind people.
