Applicator
Provided is an applicator for applying a solvent cement, the applicator having a deformable container for containing the solvent cement, a nozzle, a valve located between the container, and the nozzle. The valve is changeable between an open condition where the solvent cement can move from the container to the nozzle and a closed condition where solvent cement is inhibited from moving from the container to the nozzle, and a disperser attached to the nozzle. The disperser is adapted to disperse solvent cement that flows from the nozzle.
Dosing cap with adjustable volume
The present disclosure is directed to a dosing cap (10). In an embodiment, the dosing cap (10) includes (A) a collar member (12). The collar member (12) has an annular skirt (18) depending from a base (16)(B). An inner surface of the skirt has a securing member for securing the collar member to a neck (21) of a container (20). The base (B) has (i) a top surface (30) and a bottom surface (32), (ii) a valve seat (34) is present on the top surface of the base. The valve seat has a center channel (36), and a radial channel (38), the channels extend through the base. The dosing cap includes (C) a plug member (40). The plug member is composed of a polymeric material. The plug member has the following components in inter-connected relationship: a head (42), a body (44), a leg (46), an ankle (48), and a flexible foot (50). The leg extends through the center channel, such that the head opposes the valve seat on the top surface of the base and the foot opposes the bottom surface of the base. The dosing cap further includes (D) a cap member (112) having an annular sidewall (118) extending from a dispensing element (114). An inner surface of the annular sidewall has an attachment member adjustably attached to a reciprocal attachment member on an outer surface of skirt. The dosing cap includes (E) a metering chamber (120). The metering chamber is formed by an enclosed volume between the cap member and the base. The dispensing element (F) permits flow of a fluid from the metering chamber.
Device for packaging and dispensing a product, with vial and dispensing mouthpiece equipped with a filter
The device (100) for packaging and dispensing a product, liquid or in gel form, optionally for an ophthalmic application, comprises a container (1) containing the product to be dispensed by a dispensing head (7), as well as a refilling and filtering assembly for the air entering the container (1) after a dispensing, the dispensing head delimiting one or more dosing chambers (5) and including at its end a flexible part (7) which can be actuated to allow the release of the dose of product in a compressed state of said chamber (5). The air refilling and filtering assembly has a sterilizing filter (11) which cooperates with a check valve (12), this assembly (11, 12) being typically located in a central or inner portion of the head (7). The supply of outside air is accomplished by means of a channel (16) leading to an outer orifice (10) able to be obturated by a cover (15).
Flowable food feeding device
A container for feeding a patient includes a deformable receptacle having a cavity for holding a flowable food product and a rigid cover attachable to the upper end of the deformable receptacle. The rigid cover may have a male feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a female feeding tube connector of a feeding tube or may have a female feeding tube connector that is uniquely connectable to a male feeding tube connector of a syringe. With the male and female feeding tube connectors connected, the deformable receptacle and the feeding tube or syringe are in fluid tight fluid communication to allow the flowable food product to be forced out of the opening of the deformable receptacle and into the feeding tube or syringe when the deformable receptacle is squeezed.
Pediatric dosing dispenser
A package that is configured to store and dispense fluids. The package includes a container and a dosing dispenser for closing an opening to the container. The dosing dispenser includes a body portion having a syringe receiver that is configured to receive a syringe to remove fluid from the container.
Squeeze container
A squeeze container (10) that includes a container body (13) including squeezable/deformable press-deforming portions (27), and that discharges a content contained in an inner bag (11) inside the outer container (13) by squeezing (pressing) the press-deforming portions (27). The outer container (13) has a tubular body portion (12) including: the press-deforming portions (27); and longitudinal-direction reinforcing portions (13e) molded integrally with the press-deforming portions (27). A pair of longitudinal-direction reinforcing portions (13e) is provided, the longitudinal-direction reinforcing portions extending in a longitudinal direction at respective two locations opposing one another in a radial direction of the tubular body portion (12). A pair of press-deforming portions (27) is provided, the press-deforming portions being arranged in respective sections between the pair of longitudinal-direction reinforcing portions (13e) so as to oppose one another, and each preferably having an arcuate cross-sectional shape so as to form the overall circular hollow cross-sectional shape of the outer container (13).
